The Law of Diminishing Returns

 Common sense will dictate that you don't spread your resources too thin.  There used to be a Christian at Calvary Anaheim that said "pray like you've never work and work like you've never prayed".  I asked somebody connected with this sentament and they said "Yes, you give one hundred percent of your time to prayer, and you give one hundred percent of your time to work".   It's just like that ''First Family sketch where Ronald Reagan is talking about the Federal Budget and ends up describing an apple with three halves.  Some would say "Should we drug test all of our employees?"  Others might say "Should we give lie detector tests to all employees?"  Someone erring on the side of "Security" so called, would say yes- - to virtually anything.  It's this same mentality that any time someone asks a Pastor "Is this or that activity all right to engage in" you know the answer is going to be "No".  That's the way pastors are wired.  Now we are building this massive security fence along the Mexican border, and I've seen the photos and it's a substantial structure.  So now we come to National Security.  The Bush and Obama policies seem to be ignorant of the basic fact that for any number- - no matter how large- - the Most you can ever have of that number is All of that number, or a factor of One, no higher.  There is only so much manpower to go around in National Security.  The only question is just how all these employees allocate their time.  Do they indeed spy on every single American and scoop up reems of Information they'll never be able to process?  They have admitted that they now have so much information there is no way in God's green earth they could examine it all and even see what they have.  Even Edward Snowden has stated that he didn't "Vet" his spying information before he released it to that British Newspaper.  It was something like seven hundred thousand pieces of separate information.  So he goes "What the hell, I'll release the whole thing".   So you see that it's a very logical eventuality that by being all emcompassing the United States is actually jeopardizing it's National Security.  But like with the Christians we have what I call the "Red China" factor.  That is- - Christianity and Red China alike have laws against virtually Everything.  But the thing is they usually aren't enforced.  But they are "on the books' in case anyone wants to Use them against someone they have a Vendetta against and want to Go After.  This is what I suspect may be happening with our own National Security Administration.  The charge can never be lodged that they have gone "Too far' because they have already Established it as some legal principle that "the sky is the limit' and that there IS no length a government can go to that will be considered "Too Far" or "Ultra Virus" as they used to say in Criminal Law.  Rush Limbaugh has pointed out, and his show was a real enlightener one day, that they can pretty figure out your whole life just by the phone calls and E mails you exchanged.  They know your medical problems, or how your kids are doing in school, or your sexual proclivities, or any psychoactive drugs you may be taking, or any impending marital troubles.  I will offer the example of Myself- - but you could use Nick on Days of our Lives.  They really "went after" him trying to find out any and all of his personal flaws.  But as Jesus said "If you can find a perfect person let him be the first to throw a stone at me"  (And put me out of my Misery, as Paula Dean puts it)  My Point- - is that people are Biased.  Human nature is a thing you have to watch.  If "The whole world is your oyster" of lives out there to go meddeling around in- - how are you going to know a Real terorist threat when you come accross it?  Obviously George W Bush would be a primary person to "Investigate" for his own actions right after the 9 - 11 attacks, but of course, he's the President and therefore perfect.  Just as when a Pastor or Pastor wanna be states "God told me to do it".  Sixty Minutes has from time to time pointed out a thousand and one potential security threats that are a lot more Immediate "clear and present" then what Pizza place I ordered out for dinner last night".   President Obama's reflexes are so shot now- - he's like a boxer going into the thirteenth round that should have been called after a possible TKO in the eighth.  I see no leadership in President Obama.  There isn't proactivity- - only this knee jerk reaction when someone on the right yells "Boo!"  Sure we have bagged a lot of terrorists and I commend our government for that.  But it's funny how some people get bored- - and they take their eye off the ball and think "I'll make it Easier rather than doing the needed detective work to find the Real terrorist- - and I'll go after Joe Schmidlap over here because - - you know "He don't look right to me".  I don't like the cut of his suit.  And it's kind of like you have all of these electronic gadgets at your disposal and so you want to "play with them" and so at times the hunt for a true terrorist can degenerate into a form of self amusement.  (Selah)

According to Debby Rho, mother of Prince and Paris - - Michael Jackson was really messed up and she was concerned about Jackson's overuse of propathol as long as twenty years ago.  He had all these complications from his burning accident in 1983 and was was obsessed about scarring that only got worse, and he never could find the surgery to fix it.  This trial has gone on for months now.  I'm wondering how much this trial is costing- and whether all the time and emotion will be worth any ammount of money.

We’re in this twilight zone season of the year.  It used to be that school started up at the same time the new TV season started and about the same time the next year’s car models were rolled out.  Now that is all switched around.  We have at least four more weeks of summer reruns, and several more weeks before we have any vague hope of congress doing anything.  But today Newt Gingrich said that in his day back in 1996 Congress was able to work with the President.  And Newt said what so many including me have been saying.  If the Republicns have their own ideas about how Health Care in this country ought to be handled, now is the time to bring them up.  Instead I was looking on one site today and it was Oklahoma so fat and sassy with confidence because they have veto proof legislatures and can and have passed any laws they want.  And their claim now if that Family wholesomeness is the key to a good economic recovery and Oklahoma’s vibrant economy is due to the fact that they are such a solid red state.  Of course I bet they haven’t polled the poor people of the state to get that result.  Things have gotten so strange now that the Republicans are eating their own.  Someone attacked Mc Cain today because he is some “agent of Obama” both on the immigration legalization, but even on foreign policy where if we believe them, a good tea party person doesn’t want to touch Syria with a ten foot pole because “It will only make the Islamic extremists stronger- - just like the mistake Obama made with supporting the Egypt uprising did two years ago”.  The thing with Egypt is- - unlike Libya, the whole tumult in Egypt was over by February first 2011 or so before we could even get our boots on, or figuring out what happened.  It’s clearly degenerated to a situation of “If the President is for it- - it CAN’T be good”.  People out of power like Gingrich see things just a little more clearly, and that there are times when it is mutually profitable towork with the other side.  Now apparently there is some racist clown at the Missouri State Fair, which an ABC reporter who writes for the Wall Street journal- - also thinks is great.  Apparently this whole racist shtick thing this Clown did was so completely tasteless that the State stepped in and said that Politics were inappropriate at a state fair like this.  It does make you wonder how the tea party, stripped of every vestige of decency and common sense- - can survive on bad taste alone.

Governor Moonbeam, Jerry Brown, as signed the “gender choice” bill.  This states that any kid in the public schools out there can decide which sex they want to be today.  And be assured that we are talking about “pre op” and not “post op” here.  So boys can go in the girls locker room and get a hard on in the shower and nobody can complain.  Can’t you imagine some horney nobody out there who is also maybe effeminate doing this?  In the case of Rene Richards- - a female tennis player- - the Supreme Court ordered her to have a hormone tests and she flunked, and was ruled a man, and disallowed from women’s tennis competition.  But now you will have - - six foot five teenagers playing on the girls basketball team for example.  And you have a real “set up” for more Stubinvilles out there where so called macho guys insecure in their own masculinity- - wouldn’t stoop to beating up or hazing a female, who would be one of them on a sports team.  Did it ever occur to these people that even homosexuals might not like it if suddenly they learned they were in love with someone of the opposite sex?  And Tom Leykis a long time ago said “I draw the line at some man putting his tongue down my throat on a date”.  This is the absolute dumbest idea anybody has come up with in a long time and it truly is “left wing social experimentation”, and our children will pay the price.

In terms of new cosmic news - - the Ionians have an empire that stretches through a lot of the Hercules constellation and many surrounding stars.  Several times we have referred to the pipe dream of an alliance between the Romulans and Ionians that never came off due to mutual lack of trust.  There are other two, what we’d call military powers in the same region out there.  The Del Phi group - - is perhaps the most deadly in terms of being able to ward off a defensive attack, and the area around them is heavy booby-trapped with all sorts of exotic military weapons and devices, some of which the Federation is not even familiar.  This would be in the “northern cross” constellation.  The star Daneb is prominent - - but this is one case where the star name as we know it- - has no bearing at all on their actual culture- - and they don't know this star by that name.  The Del Phi group is said to reverence this “thirteen point” cross.  That is- - each point is jagged outward like a knife blade with a recessed middle point.  Each “arm” of the cross can thus be said to be drawn with three points making twelve points in all, and each arm of the cross is connected to a thirteenth point at the center of the cross.  There are humans, or something close to it- - living there as colonists or something.  (Hopefully they aren’t captives)  These humans can be said to be divided into “Mo Town” and “Non Mo Town” “Delphinians” as they refer to themselves.  Then we have the Vega constellation.  Sirius and others refer to them as Vegans or “vay-gans” but this is not how they refer to themselves- - any more than there is any connection between the Ionians and Hercules- - except for the vague Greek comonolity.   All three of these war like nations are allied against the Antarians, who are perhaps the scariest entities in this part of the galazy.  There is another entity that many of the stars in Sagitarius- - comprise- - allied with the Antarians.  The most notable thing about both of these is that both powers have humungusly large populations.  And these rivalries go back at least several thousand years BC.   In case you are wondering there are only two what you’d call “lifeless” constellations in the Zodiac.  These would be the four stars of Libra, and also all the stars in Cancer.  I guess that’s enough new information for today.

Tracking Streaks in the Cloud Chamber of Life

We didn’t just use floral did we?  I hope not.  I wanted to start by relating this thing I saw somewhere on TV last week about a new type of electronic cyber “coinage”.  You ask “What’s the difference between that and a debit card?”  Well, this is different because it’s self sustaining meaning you don’t have to have it connected with any bank account you have.  For instance, a ten year old kid could trade with them.  Even Jack Jr could buy his drugs with these cyber credets that have been given a name but I don’t remember.  These “coins” were some bright vender’s invention and certain stores have agreed to accept this new “medium” of coinage, but they aren’t sure whether it will catch on of it’s just a passing fad.  Of course you can trade twelve digit phone card numbers because those are as good as money you can use.  And with that many digits- - the world’s population could increase an awful lot without using all trillion of them.

I had a nice long talk with Joe Drisco.  He’s still reading that book about “String theory for dummies”.  I shared with him about - - half - - of everything I know about strings.  I told him my understanding of Hadrons - - - as well as Mesons and Berryons.  And I mentioned I didn't even think Alpha particles qualified as ones.  On his part he helped me remember about Fermions.  These are divided into Quarks and Leptons of course, and the other broad and even less “material” category is Bozons, and you know all about those.  I told Joe that sub atomic particles usually come in groupings of six with three particles and three anti-particle counterparts.  For each “string” there is a corresponding particle.  And I told Joe that you can tell by the number of “holes’ in the strings how many dimensions of any universe they occupy.  Joe mentioned that when he got on conservatorship his relatives sold off all his assets including selling his life insurance policy, which is really cold.  Of course you can get “equity” in a life insurance policy- - but in November of 1973 Mom and me went to this brokerage seminar sponsored by Hornblower and Derst and they said that Insurance capital was a lousey way to go, and stocks got you a lot more bang for your buck.  Joe spoke of owning this device where you could see tiny things like an electron microscope- - - only Joe said it was illegal because it emitted alpha particles, which are radioactive, which according to Joe are illegal to own.  But he said someone stole the device from him anyway.  But he says he also went to Italy and bought some “Uranium acetate”.  It sounds like a trippy substance, but who really needs a radioactive shower curtain anyhow?   Joe was talking about getting a four hundred dollar computer and I said, “Just make sure it’s actually a computer and not one of these I Pad devices, because you don’t have the control over the file system- - and are limited what you can put on it.

Today is Guy Owens’ wedding anniversary from 1981.  It was a Friday morning around eleven o clock.  No family members on Guy’s side (he was trying to opporate below the radar) were in attendance, and neither were Pete Richards or Bill Gunderson.  Mark Campbell was the closest thing he had to a “best man”.  Jeane Hayse and Vicky attended and they were picked up by Pete - - the other Pete, who was there.  And also Bobby Hayden was there but Jim Cooper couldn’t attend because he didn’t want to take a day off from Edison so soon after he’d been hired and ruin his credibility.  Laura’s mother and father were there and brother Joshua.  The next day, Saturday was the usual Bible Study, and Guy says that he felt “kind of like a guy who has graduated but then goes back to the old High School”.  Bill Gunderson this night played that strange Annie Hering and the Second Chapter of Acts record album which is that CS Lewis book turned into a Musical.  And the next day, which obviously was Sunday and Laura’s birthday (she turned twenty-two) and since neither one of them had ever had a genuine Fried Chicken dinner at Knott’s Berry Farm, they decided to go mid day and make a day of it, and this is about the closest thing they would have to a honeymoon.

(we enter the movie - already in progress) - - who knew Allan and I figured whoever I sent the thing to- I didn’t want to come off as a psycho, and at that time I didn’t even trust myself as a sane person, due to the fact that the situation with Allan had gotten so bad and I had even threatened to commit suicide on August 2^nd.  And I sure wasn’t going to mention that. [material left out here] Marsha this afternoon asked if I had ever been married and that’s an understandable question and a lot of people have asked it.  So I told her.  But I added that I felt encircled by the church and the family who seemed to be continually against me- - and I knew I could never come to them if there were any problem down the line.  [material left out here] I got up maybe 25 to six this morning and caught just the “parting shot’ from the Bill Press show.  Jim Ward was not on the Stephanie Miller show today because he was having a colonoscopy.  Yukk!  We had Raison Bran without many raisons.  Tom says he counted about three in his bowl.  After a lot of time had elapsed we had three half pieces of French toast and I ended up with two good sized pieces of bacon.  Janet gave me a whole thing of creamer to go with coffee that I still haven’t opened up.  I haven’t been in the mood.  She mentioned carting two big cases of Diet Coke up to her room but Joe ended up doing that.  Still I got a final cup of coffee from Janet this morning along with Bill.  Last night I kept looking for the sign up list, and it was the only thing on that bulletin board, once it appeared.  I signed in at number fourteen.  I went to the back.  I never saw Tom because he went on the first load.  I was just noticing how messed up the architecture is around that whole area.  It looks like someone threw up on the drafting board or something.  It is hodge podge to the max, and I think anyone with any sense of artistic taste would be repelled by it.  When I got there I used the restroom but did not have a smoke.  Then I got my coffee and virtually all the check stands were empty.  There was this really attractive brunette in white shorts and a print top in the next line- - who was tall and looked like a fashion model or something- and was with an older woman.  But would any classy female be put off by this “Cars” shirt.  I mean it’s catchy and all, but some might argue it would be more of a shirt a young teenage boy would wear.  Anyhow I went and sat on a bench and later walked around and then Glen came out and we sat on a different bench and I talked to him.  Sarah was saying some Spanish station was reporting on some teacher who molested five boys.   Maybe this is a new case.  We got back about the time they might have been doing coffee here.   Anyhow I checked the CD drawer the first thing I got back.  Nora had just finished up in here and she was next door and said my floor was wet but the moppers were coming so I went on in anyhow.  We had cheeseburgers for lunch and for the first time in ages they actually had seconds on French fries.  I used extra catsup on the burger, and more for the fries.  We had orange slices for desert and I had Roxanne’s slices, too.  Sleep got the better of me with Randy Rhodes and I think she was in kind of a verbal rerun mode anyhow.  I don’t think there are any fresh topics to blog about today.  But I’ll be kept busy writing this.  [and now for today's Soap developments]  Of course Abigail is one of these “classy” women.  But appearances can apparently be deceiving- if you buy this whole Virgin act.  She’s about as likely to be a virgin as I would be to have heavy weight wrestling champion trophies.  Now Will is actively getting possessive over Sonny, almost forbidding him to go on that trip to Bryce Canyon.  Nobody dares bring up the real issue, which is the fact that Sonny owes Will nothing- - and even if Will and Brad or whoever- did sixty-nine every night on the trip, it would mean absolutely nothing- “religiously” or any other way.  A gay is a gay is a gay, if you know what I mean.  Clearly fidelity isn’t the issue.  It’s just this whole idea that I’m tied to a baby and “misery loves company”, if you know what I mean.

[only the last two lines are recent] In terms of this missing woman in Idaho thing we can give you the full story on that one.  As you know there was this guy De Maggio that killed Hanna’s father and eight year old little brother.  Hanna was an attractive, mature looking blonde sixteen year old.  This De Maggio kidnapped her and held her hostage, and they were seen horseback riding together in the wilderness several hundred miles northeast of Boise, Idaho.  (This would be on the western frontier of Federation territory, if that)  Anyhow, four others on horseback camping in this remote area that wasn’t even accessable by road or motor vehicle-  they thought something was a little off because the pair did not look like they had enough supplies with them- - exploring this far out into the wilderness.  Anyhow they got home Sunday night ( ) and saw Hanna’s face on TV and immediately called the authorities.  An all out AMBER alert was issued Friday night over people’s cell phones. (?) Amber is an unsuccessful abduction case in 1996 where Amber did.  But a protective law got passed.  Amber stands for America’s Missing Broadcast Emergency Response.  Anyhow it was Saturday afternoon when FBI officials closed in on the two but had to drop in by helicopter and hike in - - and then they shot De Maggio and rescued Hanna and she’s safe now.  So they have been flooding all the news with this story.  Now in the latest development Hanna got on line to answer questions from viewers at this one site, but I heard that the page was taken down, and I have no idea why- - unless this "Hanna" turned out to be an impostor.

Enos Schlabodnic Is a Whistle Blower!

I never thought I've see Rush Limbaugh being an advocate for the Left, and particularly for the consumer class, but that's just what he was on his show today.  It's no secret that I regard Barock Hussein Obama as a major political sell-out or more to the point "cave-in" like those sink holes in Florida.  What about those sink holes in Florida, huh- - there was one that swallowed up a whole resort just next to Disney World- - where a - get this - - a hole sixty feet wide by fifteen feet deep just opened up out of nowhere within minutes.  The only warning the people inside the resort had was that windows began spontaniously shattering, and those in the know told everybody in the building to get out quickly and don't even try to round up your belongings.  People couldn't get out because doors were jammed and they had to break windows.  Well President Obama is sitting over a gigantic political sink hole and he doesn't know it.  Rush Limbaugh already pointed out how Congress has carved out a nice little nitch exception for themselves as far as the Affordable Care Act goes.  Because they wanted 75% coverage- or maybe 75% coverage wasn't enough for them, I don't know.  At any rate,  these politicians wanted to make sure they weren't among the first guinea pigs to try out Obama Care for real. But then we had the delay of the employer mandate.  Rush today said that employers all over were heeving a sign of relief over that one.  Because now there wouldn't be that "job killing machine" in operation just before next year's elections.  Unfunded mandates are such a pain in the ass.  But today yet another shoe of this hybred monster known as the Affordable Care act just dropped.  Now the Obama is taking the "Affordable" out of the Affordable Care Act.  That was supposedly the whole idea.  Of course apparently you could always "just pay the fine" and say screw the whole thing.  But generally the idea was for people to go to the exchanges and buy health care coverage.  Only now, and this is according to Rush- - they are saying that there will be certain "out of pocket expenses", which the patient will have to pay- - (Rush claims all of his medical bills are "Out of Pocket" expenses) - - and also the deductables will be jacket up sky high- - and this is all to save the insurance companies money - or perhaps to save the government money or both - - to keep the Federal Deficet down just before next year's election.  There will be caps on coverage just as their are now.  So change that slogan to "We definitely Don't have you covered".  So we'll have to live with those high deductables come next year, and all those rosey reports you were hoping to give next year- - may be with the stroke of the pen of an executive order- - all that expected monetery relief just flew right out the window.

Yesterday and today, Randy Rhodes was playing this Keith Oberman tape from a broadcast right after the Citizens United ruling.  Apparently it was a little Too Much Truth for MSNBC because Keith Oberman was first right after that.  Keith gave one of these departing presidential warnings in the tradition of Eisenhower - - warning that now that non humans were accorded as much "personhood status' as actual people- - that there would be the strong brother of the Corporations and the Wesker brother, the languishing one, of the Labor Unions.  And no way can Labor possible match the truckload of funds that the Corporation can back a truck up to the Capital and start dumping money all over the place.  So the lesson here is to watch for an all out attack on the Labor Unions to put them out of business so that nobody on the Left benefits from the Citizen's United Ruling.  And we are to expect a purge of the overall "nuts" of the Town Hall meetings- - which hopefully will be obsolete by now- - and we won't have to mess with the more obviously mentally disturbed nuts like the extreme racists, or the birthers- - - or the UFO conspiracy nuts- - - and maybe Glen Beck is he "gets out of line".   And expect to see continued wars because these will take on the glow of "A new product roll out" like the latest Apple I Phone, only it will be the latest international conflict where Haliburten and Blackwater and the Koch Brothers can make their Billions.  Of course now there is a new line that's being employed- - and I heard it from Judy last year.  Expect an all out attack on the very term "Middle Class".  This is a term to be disparaged because these people will return to the whole Log Cabin myth- - that you, like Abraham Lincoln can be born in a humble log cabin and grow up to be President.  Hence people like Judy expect us to take seriously the notion that "Bringing people out of poverty into the middle class" is somehow an injury to these people and to the "American Spirit" because after all America is a "Classless Country".  That's what they are saying.  We don't talk of race.  Why we don't have a racist bone in our bodies!  And we don't believe in Class either.  We're Americans.  We believe in "The human spirit".  They think "The human spirit" will lift the masses out of poverty.  Randy Rhodes points out that Marxism also taught the idea of a "Classless society".  It didn't work in Russia for seventy years, so why the hell would the tea party crowd think it would ever work or become a reality in This country.  It's nuts!  I'll tell you what's important.  Bigger and bigger profit revenues.  And if the poor get in our way we'll just have to raid their pension funds and their strike funds and whatever else they have managed to squerrel away of their meager, hard earned posessions.  These people won't be happy untill they get it all.  And they're a lot closer to that eventuality now than they were fifteen years ago, but their greed and discontent only grows- - until some Power out of Somewhere is able to stop them.

Of course, to quote a former house mate of mine, "There's power in Secrets".  But if the political Left can't keep whatever winning strategy they come up with a secret- - all their hopes for victory next year may be all for naught anyhow.  Of course the tea party right claims to know our "Master Plan".  Now these fevered minds are saying that President Obama WANTS the affordable care act to fail so that the American people will clammor for and get Single Payer health care.  You have always heard the political right speak of the "incrementalism of the left".  This is a really strange charge to make in that - this President has "suffered death from a thousand paper cuts".  No matter how slight the Presidents "departure" from - - what the Right considers 'normal and proper" behavior for a President, these tea baggers are going to raise bloody hell about it and say "That's an impeachable offense".  Hence this President is almost afraid of his own shadow.  Hence the idea that - - any scenario like Jennifer Horton and Jack Jr. or the idea of "getting away with something" and then the other side "gets used to that trespass" and so the protagonist ups the anti a bit and does something "incrementally" more daring.  As you can see this sort of behavior- - even if attempted- would not work at all for this President in the political climate of today.  Well you know what they called General Mc Lellon during the civil war, don't you?  The Virginia Creeper.  I guess it was some local insect or gecko or something.  Anyhow it was a term of disparagement.  It was in effect saying "General Mc Lellon can't get the job done and it's time for Lincoln to fire him and get someone in there who Can - - get the job done, and advance the battle front at a faster pace.  My philosophy is "Never PLAN on moving at glacial speed".  If it happens maybe you can't help it but never Plan on that.  This whole Incrementalism thing just leaves me cold.  Copping such an attitude would insure that you lost in any chess match.  This Object Lesson was demonstrated in today's soap opera where Elvis Di Mira arranged to have some money "planted" on a cop they said was "dirty".  I know that's just a Story but even as it was happening I had this inescapable feeling something wouldn't go right.  And of course I was correct.  (Soap opera writers would be bad chess players because you can read them like a book)  Well somehow the Enemy got wind of this 'secret strategy" and was able to defeat the plan.  That's what I'm worried about.  In Ten Commandments lingo it's fear of all the Dathans out there with their snooping eyes and ears.  They are apparently everywhere.  It would seem that even if you're willing to bend the law a bit and be Sneaky - - there is someone else out there who will be even more Cleaver and Sneaky and Quicker than you are and who will defeat you at your own game.  This little paragraph is just a little Word to the Wise- - to Whom it may concern.

Let's talk about prostitutes and johns for a bit.  Sometimes the cop poses as the John - - in order to lure in some woman on Prostitution charges and take her in.  Other times the cops pose as the Prostitute - - and believe you these women practically reach out and grab you and drag you into bed with them.  So which is it?  Who are they most wanting to get off the Streets?   Here's a moral question.  Can a desire to Sell something be morally justifiable but the one who Buys it is morally corrupt?  I'll let you muse on that question for a second.  Suppose you want to unload a business because you are retiring or wanting to shed the family farm because you are too old to work it and you can't get good hired help and all of your children have moved to the city?  Should such a couple be saddled with High Capital Gains Taxes if they wish to sell the farm to get some retirement money?  I argue that they should Not.  That's why I said nothing about raising the current 15% sales tax figure in my economic treaties. But now here is where me and the tea party part company.  But what about the big Corporate buyer who wants to buy out a farm, or worse yet some new invention that is struggling to find its way on the Market.  Should one who would seek to Buy them out- - be forced to Pay more in taxes- - in the form of a Sales Tax.  You see a sales tax is really a Buyers tax and not a Sellers tax.  I argue that such a Big Corporation should- - pay up big for the privelege of such a transaction.  This was one of the key points in my economic plan of a few weeks ago I just wanted to clarify.  Some of the Math stuff we do is pretty far out.  For instance as you know we proposed a different Base E number- - one that the Federation uses.  The psychology behind this is simple.  It's the mystical relation between Two and Three.  You ask "Why would anyone want to depart from a mathematically "ideal" number?  I can give you an excellent example.  Because you can use a nutritional analogy.  We told you about your typical "Hatch Back" Base E graph line- - the Wikkipedia has a similar such graph line that is different from ours.  The far right of the line is the top of the roof of the car- - represents Base and Exponent parody and as the ratio between the two increases- - this number of "parody" decreases.  That is- the figure you need for Base and Exponent parody decreases with the increase of the Ratio.  It would be like nutrition and the needs of the human body.  Some people say you need five thousand Units of Vitamin D per day.  One company says you need fifty thousand units per day.  Let's suppose the fifty thousand figure is the maximum amount your body can tollerate before you get sick or something or develope Vitamin D toxisity.  Now the original Base E number used by scientists today is based on that maximum fifty thousand figure.  We at the Federation back it off a bit saying "Well let's just go with 35,000 Units per day rather than fifty.  So the Federation Base E figure is 2.646 and the normal figure everybody else uses is 2.718  - - I think.  We believe ours is more useful, particularly for twos and threes.

One source describes the theologian Marcion "A rich fat cat making a long trek to Rome far from his shipping business on the Black Sea.  In terms of Marcion's Gospel of Luke not only is the Christmas story omitted, but Jesus being baptized by John the Baptist is omitted.  When Jesus comes to Nazareth, the words "where he had been brought up" do not appear in this text.  The circumstances of the Death of John the Baptist is also much more sparsely referred to.  Jesus utters the line about John, "Behold he is blessed, if he will not be offended by me".  That sounds a little combative.  There is no indication the two ever met.  In the story of the transfiguration mount experiance it says that the Desciples fell asleep and when they woke up they saw Elijah and Moses with Jesus.  In a rare bit of "revelation" there is a text when Jesus is talking about the tribulation period where he says "Pray to God that you will be counted worthy".  Which is all and well, but traditional scripture adds the words " - - to escape all these things".  Also the reference to Jesus forgiving mankind from the cross has a strange bracket reference.  Also the three women did not see Jesus on Easter morning but only angels, and their words seemed as nonesense to the desciples. Although Jesus invited the desciples to gaze upon him- -the reference to their physically touching his body is omitted.  Also the scene where Jesus goes to the Mount of Olives and ascends to heaven in a cloud is omitted.

The United States For Sale

Here’s a good opening line.  Many people on the right justify their insistence that we are a “post racial” society and that racism is a thing of the past by pointing to the polls that White people don’t believe there is a problem.  But one bright boy produced polls from fifty years ago saying that White people fifty years ago believed the same thing- - ie that “There wasn’t a problem with the way we treated minorities”.  So the question is lodged, “If they were wrong then, can they be wrong again?”   Randy Rhodes says one in every three Black American teenage boys get locked up.  This brings us to the topic of Mike Bloomberg and the new US District Court ruling today that the “stop and frisk” policy of the NYPD has been improperly applied, and will have to be modified.  This prompted a response by Mayor Mike Bloomberg that “The stop, question, and frisk policy has been dramatic in cutting crime”.  And when I first heard Bloomberg’s speech, and even before that I was inclined to say “In the case of a place like New York it makes sense to take aggressive measures to get guns off the street”.  If you can intercept a young man with a gun “looking for trouble” (can you spell “Zimmerman”?) then you have done a good thing and prevented a lot of potential violence.  There has been more than a fifty percent drop in the New York crime rate since the dark days of David Denken in New York twenty years ago when crime was out of control and there were a lot of places in New York where you didn’t want to venture.  New York for a lot of reasons is a much more habitable place now.  One source says the success level of “stop and frisk” is very low, but I’m inclined to disagree because the deturrance factor must be taken into account.  People get it into their heads “That’s behavior I don’t engage in any more”.  I have it here that “eight thousand murders were prevented” with this measure.  Big cities are supposed to be civilized places and no place for anybody to be packing heat on the street.  So the bottom line is that I hope we don’t give up a good thing for some legal niceties.  One note I have here is that the number murdered in six days now equals the number of people murdered in one day back in the early ‘nineties.

I had Eric Holder on C-S-pan earlier this morning, but I didn’t watch long enough for Holder to unveil the Magna Carta of the day.  This is a speech that Eric Holder gave today before the American Bar Association in San Francisco.  This is the fact that from now on their will be no dreaded “Minimum sentence” for many drug offences where you aren’t in some gangland syndicate or working for some foreign drug cartel.  To me this is a good thing because though the Federal Courts rant about the California Penal system - - Federal Prisons are in fact a hundred and forty percent of capacity, and as you know there are no reduced sentences or getting out early in the Federal Penal system.  You serve out your time with a long sentence for perhaps a very minor drug offense.  Now AG Eric Holder is going to remedy this problem by not completely filling out the arrest forms and leaving blank the amount of narcotics or whatever ceased- and hence- they will be by an executive technicality- be able to justify not throwing the book at the defendant.  No doubt the Tea Party people will complain about this and say that congress has been improperly bypassed.  Well, the latest poll numbers on congress is nine percent, and that figure won’t even make Herman Kane happy.  We spend 80 Billion dollars (a year?) on the “War on drugs” and that’s good money that could be put to work doing a lot more useful things that needs doing by this government.  Of course though the United States only has five percent of the world’s population, it in fact has a full 25% of the imprisoned population of the world.  So you can think of hell holes and dungeons around the globe, but just remember it isn’t these so called “backward” nations that incarcerate the lions share of prisoners on a per capita basis.  But don’t worry.  To celebrate the ladies book club is going to be eating some special white powder donuts loving made by skilled jouvenile hands while they say- - discuss the book “Alice in Wonderland” in a proper environment.  “Uh-hump - - - Yeah man - - - “

This next paragraph is going to be an Object Lesson to those who have ears.  I’d like to start things off by relating a true life Story of almost Biblical parable perportions and there is a definite moral lesson to be learned here.   I heard it from Tom at lunch today talking about his work environment at some manufacturing firm.  It was a partnership where one guy owned 51% of the company and the other partner own 49% of it.  Understandably the guy with the 49% felt constrained all the time because his money was going tword decisions which at least theoretically – he would have no control over.  Tom at that time got two weeks’ vacation and they would throw an elaborate Christmas office party each year.   They would roll out a big buffet spread of the finest sandwich meats such as roast beef and ham and turkey and all the best Kosher cold cuts, and exotic cheeses and breads and salads and fresh fruit.  Well - - it came to pass that the guy with the 51% share wanted to retire- - so he made arrangements to transfer the reins of power over to the other guy.  Now all of a sudden they learned that there would be a mandatory two week vacation when the company was closed for two weeks around Christmas and Newyears and everybody had to “take their vacation” then.  And in the process they were also gyped out of two paid holidays because Christmas and Newyears were already hit.  And now those fabled Christmas gatherings were reduced to serving hot dogs and Kool-Aid.  And this guy turned out to be such a tightwad- - he was even tight with his creditors and made bad decisions in general due to his lack of wisdom - - and ran the company into the ground because he’s borrow more, which he wouldn’t pay when his creditors asked for that, either.  

Ed Schult z today on the Monterey station was talking about the “Red” takeover of a great American city, Detroit.  It was a deliberate Right wing take down of a Big liberal American city.  They were routinely starved for funds they rightfully had coming from both the State and the Federal government.  The Tea Party knew that if they could somehow “neutralize” a big American city- it would be fewer blue votes for their political opponents.  Ed Schultz faced off with one caller on his show who refused to stay on one topic long enough to be challenged on it.  These people flit from buzz-word to buzz-ward like a butterfly or a pollinating bee with the “post hypnotic mantra of their word”.   For instance the caller alleged that “Auto makers moved to places like Alabama because Detroit kept piling on burdensome regulations”.  Ed kept asking him just to “name One” and the caller couldn’t.  Then there is the mantra of the “greedy Labor Unions” as if they were biting the hand that feeds them or killing the goose that laid the golden eggs”.  But Ed Schultz corrected the caller in saying that “The Unions saw this one coming a long time ago and made countless concessions- and were down to nineteen thousand a year for their pensions”.  This isn’t that far above the US poverty line.  Dylan started this whole line of thought with his traitorous “Sundown on the Union” song.  Then the caller decided to suddenly spin around not 180 but more like a dizzying 540 degrees and tout the authority of President Franklin Roosevelt saying that “The high terrifs passed in 1930 caused the recession”.  This is an interesting statement considering the Great Crash occurred in October of 1929.  And we would have had another such Great Crash, if President W hadn’t bailed out the big Wall Street banks, so that only the poor and not the rich had to suffer in this recession.  There was the repeated statement that “All terrifs are bad”, which Schultz points out is far from being the truth.  It’s just this new strain of Internationalism that has pervaided the Tea Party wing- and we first saw it in 2000 when Rush Limbaugh opposed the campaign of Pat Buchannon, who still had economic brain cells that still functioned.  But like I say some Republicans are so “bent” it’s like their steering rudder is permanently jammed to the right and they are going around in circles.  Now Dana Rorbacher- - who apparently wrote the most “hard line’ speeches for President Ronald Reagan- - is now suddenly saying what a great guy Edward Snowden is and what a wise thing it was to pick the Soviet Union as his home.  He says “Back in the days of President Reagan, nobody in the Soviet Union had rights.  So really now in Snowden sticking it personally to the Obama Administration- - he is contrasting the Russia of today when all of those pesky repression realities are a thing of the past - - with this Country, which now according to Dana Rorebacker, is the Soviet Union of the past and now it’s Our Government that is doing all of the repression.  I’m reporting all this just as it occurred- because otherwise I don’t know if I would believe myself!

Let’s do the Romulan colors.  Red stands for Confidence and Accomplishment and a “stop and look at me” kind of thing.  Orange pertains to youth and lack of maturety.  Yellow is not cowardess but rather Danger, Fear, and Apprehension.  Green is militancy and directed anger.  And yes, green also means “Go”.  These colors happen to be similar or identical to their assignments in the song “Axis Bold as Love” by Hendrix.  Purple is seen as “something precious”.  Marroon is seen as “something precious that was sacrificed or lost”.  Gold or orange juice orange, like a school bus is “fool-hardiness”.   Chartreuse is - - paranoia.  Light blue is “a male heir”.  Hot pink means Fright or Trauma or “shock and awe”.  A more pastel pink stands for “The dominance of the strong by the weak”.   I think Hillary Clinton may have been in power when that one came up.  Navy blue is “those enslaved”.  Black means “exhaustion or lack of pretence” or it could mean “inner peace”.   White means “objective statement”.  Gray is neutral.  Lavender means "favor with God"   Olive means "A leader of the common people"  Rose or beige means "psychologically disturbed or disfunctional" Royal Blue- - in the traditional Romulan means “selling out” but with Sirius and the Federation - - royal blue has its traditional “other worldly minded” quality.   Brown is “a base thing” whereas tan or kakki means “gay” as in homosexual.  Terquoise - - in Sirius and Romulan - - alludes to Death, both of the body and of the psyche.  However turquoise takes on another quality among Reigelians and on the “Rayoll” planet - - that is the Houston group and part of the Federation.  Here turquoise means “good fortune”.   The Who is about the only non “soul” group to be associated with the Houston group.  This is the planet where I was “alien abducted” to in September 1986 aboard an Aldeberan VIII vessle.  Yesterday Jim Morrison spoke of one profession that "Is even less popular with God than prostitution".  I'll give you a little hint.  It's a profession which Nazarites, of which Jesus is roomered to be one, is forbidden by that Faith to engage in.  There are two constelations in the sky that are seen as mortal enemies and are next to each other, according to one "seasons in the sky" astronomy book I read.  Jim Morrison said "That isn't any coincidence" in an answer to a question I had I'm not expressly sharing with you.  I'll just say that this response clarified an issue for me and bolstered my belief that "The Bible is based on stereotypes".

This is Monday August 12, 2013 and the Perseus meteor shower is upon us now.  Normally this period is an auspicious one for me.  I’m usually in a hopeful mood.  But not this year.  They said that the LA school system is kicking off the school year for their vast number of students today, or perhaps it’s tomorrow.  That’s unbelievable!  Of course I will probably be called down to the office and asked more about that theft.  But of course the solution is “If you don’t feel safe here then move out to your own apartment”.  Nothing like this ever happened there in thirteen years.  I still have all those record albums at Dr. Levy’s and I’m wondering when he’s going to contact me to say he can’t do it any more, or that he’s moving out of the state.  We all know those tea party people hate it here in California because of our “high taxes” or whatever.  I got up a little after five- - and had loose bowels.  I haven’t had that problem now in several months.  As I said a couple days ago, my weight is finally back above 160 for perhaps the first time in nearly two years, and I intend to keep it that way.  I can’t count on the usual help from “Church and family”.  I’ll obviously need an infusion of money from somewhere if I choose to move out and I’m in that unique position of weakness to be dependant on others now for so many needs.   Of course as you know people you expect to be able to “come to with a problem” I’ve learned you can’t.  That’s been true with Dad since at least 1967.   And remember that one time I put some scandal from the Middle Ages about Christianity in one of my letters to Pastor Don, and pastor Don’s response to the letter was “Well, you’ve barely scratched the surface”.  I don’t remember.  Perhaps it’s that Constanople was taken by the Moors because they had gun powder and the Christians didn’t, I don’t know.  But the spirit of the line was “Come on [Marcus], if you’re going to disparage Christianity you can do better than that!”.  In like manner, when he said to me shortly before he left our church “You should write a book on Why Christianity hasn’t worked for me” the remark just kind of struck me sideways.  There are two things wrong with that title.  I had not yet ARRIVED at that specific conclusion for myself, and secondly- even if I did conclude that Christianity HAD failed, I would still have no idea as to WHY it failed.  That would be more the venue of others- - like someone doing a psychological profile of how me and “The Faith” are basically psychologically incompatable.  Likewise when I wrote pastor Mark that first of two letters mid summer of 1994,  and I said that I had a problem that could jeopardize my Christian faith.  A normal pastor would be ‘You better talk about that with somebody.  You need more counseling.  You have drifted too far from close contact with people.  You need to have a long conversation with me to get your bearings or whatever.  But Mark didn’t respond that way.  He just said “I’m so sorry to hear that you are thinking of leaving the church” and as I have said often “No you aren’t!  You’re not sorry; you’re tickled pink.  You’ve been waiting for this day”.  Again this is the problem with dealing with one time friends.   So what if I “need to talk to somebody” today- - who can I trust?  Who will give me an answer that isn’t totally “Daft” as John Lennon would say.  I can hear some of you saying now, “You love dead people so much- - why don’t you go talk to John Lennon”.
