It All Depends on the Economy

The expression is 'for want of Oxygen, a fire goes out".   So it will be with the passion of the Tea Party and all of the gay and women and racial bashing we've seen.  The thing is that right now the Average American if anything sees Mitt Romney to be slightly better at captaining the American economy than the President.  On the Mc Laughlin group tonight they referred to all of this favorible economic news and government statistics as "Phoney statistics" and "for the American citizen, things just are not improving for them".  That's what they said on the Chris Matthews show.  The question is what sort of "vision" that Romney has for America.  The President has stated his ideas but Romney hasn't other than repeal all the polution regulations and "drill, baby, drill" like that Republican said from Missouri this morning.  The thing is that as President if he senses he is in real trouble with his poll numbers he can fix this in a minute by suspending various regulations and restrictions for instance, unclogging refinery pipelines and getting more gasoline to the consumer.  Chris Matthews stated that if unemployment is below eight percent the President would win but if it were above where it is right now than Romney would win the election.  All else would fade into insignificance, for instance in the three fall Debates.  Whoever the economic statistics favor would be on offence, and whoever they didn't favor would be playing Defense the entire time.

However the President need not totally dispair because certain factors in new polls favor him.  The President has a twelve percent margin with women, and an even larger margin with women under fifty.  They said two thirds of the people have "made up their minds" but just as in baseball, that leaves the third of games in the middle that are in doubt.  No losing candidate has gotten less than a third of the votes, and no victorious candidate has ever gotten two thirds of the vote.  Obama is heavily favored by minorities.  They won't even poll Blacks because it's such a slam dunk there.  The President is leading almost two to one among the Latino voters.  The President is leading with people under 35.  Single women are the fastest growing demographic besides Latinos- - and that is very lopsided for the President.  The President is also seen more likable and personable.  Romney's lack of leadership is aknoledged by the Republicans themselves and insiders report a new gloom decending over the party stratigests.  Grover Norquist has stated that we don't want an independant thinker or leader in the White House but merely someone who can take his marching orders from the Tea Party bosses.  You know, to rubber stamp all their proposed bills, such as ones written by ALEC.  American Legislative Executive Counsil.  Also history tells us that the Optimist almost always wins the presidential race.  Clearly the President is more optimistic in his overall persona and statements than is Romney.  Also no sitting President has been turned out of office who had SOLID support in his own Party and the President has this.  Bust 41, Carter, and Ford did not have the support of their own rank and file and so that's why they lost.  69% of the American people believe in Global Warming, and Mitt Romney is clearly on the wrong side of this issue.  Women will never vote for any candidate that threatens their right to have an abortion, even if they personally never have one.  It's a matter of principle with them.  The President is weak with "white, male workers" but here again if the economy continues to improve, so will his vote with this segment.  The secret service scandal is a non issue in this Campaign because Mitt Romney isn't raising it.  And Pat Buchannon believes he shouldn't.

The tea party has always been held together with lies.  The other day this Marc with a C guy was telling Marcia that "George Bush didn't start the Recession.  The recession started because of problems in Europe in places like Greece".  This is a rewrite of history.  If you look at economic statistics they favor this President.  Compare all the deficets run up by Republican presidents in the years between 1968 and 2008.  Not add up all the deficets run up by Democratic Presidents and I think you'll be amazed. I would not be a bit surprised is the Republican tally were at least double the democrat's tally. You can look at the stock market for two years prior to Jan 20th 2009 and two years after Jan 20th 2009 if you want to do that.  Look at corporate profits two years before this date for Bush and two years after this date for the President and do it that way.  Have taxes for small businesses or "The Average American worker" the tea party professes to care so much about - - been more auspitious under Obama or Bush?  Bush started two wars and the President ended one war and is wrapping up another.  What period did Al Qaeda experiance most of its growth and propagation in?  How does our oil import export balance stack up for the two administrations?  I don't know how significant people like Ted Nugent will be in the republican campaign but for their sake I hope it wont be very much.  Now the Army has moved to prevent Nugent from performing at a USO concert or whatever.  How many countries have overthrown dictators under Obama as opposed to Bush?  I'm not really sure what the Tea Party has to complain about.  This like about "Class Warfare" is entirely bogus.  The big issue is what policies should America institute to insure the best health of the American economy?  Pat Buchannon seems to be the lone surviving Economic Nationalist out there - - - .

What is Jehovah God were on the ticket?  Would you vote for him.  Many Protestents with Marcionite leanings might not.  For instance the idea of "Priests" in a religion was originally Jewish concept and not a Christian concept.  The early Christians used this word very little.  The word conoted the fact that man needed a "Pontiff" or bridge between himself and God to confess his sins to and make some sort of pennance or atonement.  Other "Jewish" imigry persists in some sectors, like this choral introit some church use of "The Lord is in his Holy Temple - let us keep silence before him".  The problem is that Christians believe there IS NO earthly "Temple" remaining on Earth.  Also most good theologians don't believe that "God" can be localized in one place.  However "Jehovah" often did exhibit "local" charistics and there are instances of Jehovah having to investigate things he did not know.  There was some TV movie or something about some young wife married to a despotic husband.  And one day the wife's pet horse was discovered Dead.  And she said "you killed the horse because it was something I loved".  The first use of the word LOVE in the Bible is an emotion which Separated man from God because Jehovah told Abraham to kill his son Isac in demonstration of - - "I want to see if you love Me more than you love your Son" or something.  In a Beatle song John Lennon sings, "I used to be cruel to my woman I beat her and kept her apart from the things that she loved".  In Hebrews (one of the last books to be approved by the Church) there is talk about how he who loves his child will not spare the rod, and since the Lord loves us- - he won't spare the rod to discipline us.  Jehovah killed Onan because he "pulled out" and would not empregnate his brother's wife but spilled his seed on the ground comitting "spirmicide" or something.  So God killed him.  Jehovah got really pissed at King Saul because he wouldn't commit mass genocide in innocent women and children wiping them all out.  There is a scripture in Leviticus I'm told, where Jehovah says that handicapped people are loathsome to him and they cannot serve as Priests.  So much for the Americans with disabilities act.  People say there are Wars because of diverse cultures and languages.  Yet Jehovah was displeased when men worked together with one accord to build the Tower of Babel, because God was afraid they would get to Heaven, and that would be awful.  To semedy these problems you have Marcion.  Marcion says that in essence "circumstances are of the Devil".  We are ruled by "The Lord of this World".  Satan is localized (Just as Jehovah was)  the True God is omnipresent.  Jehovah instituted The Law, which results in Death.  The True God offers deliverance from The Law and Death.  Marcion and Paul teach that not just the physical world, but the whole Cosmos as we know it, including "The Heavenlies" or the "Powers of the Air" (spirit) and even Angels themselves can be ministers of Satan.  Calvary Chapel has never been big on Angels.  They are more of a domain among the Catholics. At some point this entire idea of "share and share alike" and communal meals and working for free and a general disregard of the importance of Money - - all this went by the wayside in the course of time.

A Gezillion Really Tired, Trite Sayings

Good for general accademic performance, blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol, not that great for IQ and downright disasterous for biological body aging.

This is the highest number posting in this specific blog that four hand written symphonies and a perfect blackjack performance will still beat

I'm picturing an eight bit binary number viewed upside down and it's 32

Whatever a man sows, so shall he reap
A watched pot never boils
Don't complain or I'll give you something to cry about
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth
The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence
The early bird catches the worm
You'd forget your head if it wasn't fastened to you
When the cat is away the mice will play
Mind your own bee's wax
Have the ears of a rat and the eyes of a weasel
He doesn't know which side of the bread it's buttered on
It's impolite to point
He can't see the forest for the trees
Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out
As guests go I wish you would - - - (leave)
Don't be the last person (fighting soldier) to leave the Viet Nam war
Don't be either the first to adopt something or the last person to give it up
You've done muddied up my creek  (Don't muddy the waters)
Too many cooks spoil the broth
An apple a day keeps the doctor away
Love and marriage go together like a horse and carriage
Pay back is a bitch
If you lay down with dogs you'll wake up with fleas
He's drawn to it like a moth to a flame
Don't be a wet blanket
You have to rip it out by the roots
Don't cut off your nose to spite your face
In the world of an eye for an eye - the whole world will soon be blind
In the world of the blind - the one eyed man is king
Get the wax out of your ears
Don't do as I do - do as I say
If everyone jumped off a cliff - would you do it
It takes one to know one (that one is really awful)
You made your bed - so you can lie in it
Either shit or get off the pot
I'd rather have him inside the tent pissing out - rather than outside the tent pissing in
Figures don't lie but liars figure
He's wound tighter than a fifty cent watch
Turn about is fair play
With friends like that- who needs enemy
I need you like a hole in the head
He got out on a limb - and now I'm going to saw it off
Don't paint yourself into a corner
Don't borrow trouble
Don't pee on my leg and tell me that it's raining
Don't spit on my cup cake and tell me that it's frosting
He's as slow as molassis in January
He goes through it like a knife through butter
He has a yellow streak a mile long
familarity brings contempt
absence makes the heart grow fonder
The way to a man's heart is through his stomach
Faint heart never won fair lover
You will know a tree by its fruit
He got hoisted on his own pittard
He isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer
Don't think about it (the offer) too long
Shut your mouth or I'll come over there and shut it for you
Don't cry over spilled milk
Take your punishment like a man
"What I need is a good, stiff belt" - -  "That may be, but I was hoping it wouldn't come to that"

Somebody obviously pulled a few strings
Are their any strings attached?
You're barking up the wrong tree
Every dog has his day
His bark is worse than his bite
He's shooting blanks
It's as good as gold
A picture is worth a thousand words
A watched pot never boils
The chickens have flown the coup
He's singing like a canary
That ship has sailed
Give a person enough rope and he'll hang himself
If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen
Playing a game of cat and mouse
We'll cross that bridge when we come to it
The time is not yet ripe
That idea seems a little half baked to me
You can't get blood from a turnup
He's yellow as a summer squash
Throwing good money after bad
It's the real Mc Coy
That's a real doosie (sp?)
It's another fish tail
He was born on third base and thinks he hit a tripple
A dead fish glistens in the moon light but it stinks to high heaven
Pull your claws in
He's been riding him like a horse
You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink
All the world's a stage and we are merely players
Still waters don't run deep; they just breed mosquitos
The ring of truth.  That rings true
Off color humor
He's the salt of the earth
He bit off more than he could chew
Don't throw your pearls before swine
If you're a hammer - everything looks like a nail
Hitting the nail on the head
Don't rub people the wrong way
A word to the wise is sufficient
Taking lemons and making lemonade
The apple of his eye
Violence is American as cherry pie
What I'll do on your grave won't pass for flowers
You get what you pay for
Old violins make the sweetest music
Burning his bridges behind him
Make sure all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed
I can see the hand writing on the wall
You don't get a "get out of jail card"
Vanity is a deadly sin
He's spineless.  Get a back bone.
Why don't you grow a pair.
It takes a lot of cajones to do that
He who sows sparingly will reap sparingly
You can't teach an old dog new tricks
Cats always land at their feet (usually directed at bitchy women)
Poisoned pen letter
A rising tide lefts all boats
Honest confession is good for the soul
Double talk
Don't fan the flames
Lit up like a Christmas tree
To the victor go the spoils
Fishing for a comlement
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day.  Teach him how to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime
He puts his pants on one leg at a time just like everybody else.
A lie is half way around the world before the Truth has got its boots on
Idle gossip is like a pillow fight.  You'll never trace down all the feathers
He's solid as a rock
Black as the ace of spades
Tighter than a drum
Letting go of mama's apron strings
Daddy's little girl
Sowing your wild oats
The wheels of justice grind slowly but excedingly fine
Don't be a millstone around his neck.
That tradition is like a bad egg.  It's better to break it than keep it.
Throwing my hat into the ring
As crazy as a three ring circus
Reaching for the brass ring
It's just not in the cards
That just isn't my cup of tea
Putting him out to pasture
My ears were burning.  Were you talking about me?
Tickeling his (or her) fancy
That's like the cherry on top
Icing on the cake
The whole enchalada
The whole nine yards
Just because there's snow on the roof doesn't mean there isn't a fire in the fireplace
When you're old, just waking up in the morning you can say you're a winner
Locking the barn door after the horse has been stolen
That's A long shot (with a limb in the way)
As nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rockers
They're like two peas in a pod
Oh God, give me to Courage remedy the things that can be changed and the Pacience to accept the things I can't change, and the wisdom to know the difference

Don't count your chickens before they're hatched
A rolling stone gathers no moss
People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones
He who has the gold makes the rules.
Silence isn't golden; it's just yellow
Look before you leap.
Put your money where your mouth is
Don't talk the talk unless you can walk the walk.
Put up or shut up.
You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinigar
Wine is fine but liquor's quicker
Old age is superior to the alternative.
Death is total in every generation
Measure twice, so you only need to cut once.
You better think twice, at least once more
Oppertunity only knocks once
Blood is thicker than water
Ambition is Blind
A little bit of sugar helps the medicine go down.
I'll take that with a pinch of salt
Seasoned citizens deserve to be honored
Liar liar, pants on fire
Seeing is believing.
Don't believe the roomers.
He doesn't have any follow through.
Three strikes and you're out.
It's Now or Never
Beggars can't be choosers.
There's nothing uglier than the sin of ingratitude.
Straw is for horses and Hey is for jackasses
A fish is slippery but he still gets caught
As sure footed as a mountain goat
As good as gold
Diamonds are forever
Making an honest woman of her
Honesty is the best policy
If you worked to get your money you'll appreciate it more
Revenge is a best dished out cold
Being neither hot nor cold I want to spew you out of my mouth.
That still leaves a bad taste in my mouth
Lemon tree very pretty and the lemon flower is sweet, but the fruit of the lemon is impossible to eat.
I see orange blossoms in your future.
The bloom is off the rose
It's like putting lipstick on a pig.
You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear
Every cloud has a silver lining.
Rain is like liquid sunshine.
When April showers they come your way, they bring the flowers that bloom in May
June is busting out all over.
A man's reach should exceed his grasp
Sour grapes
Is that a banana in your pants or are you just happy to see me.
We're all worms, but I believe I'm a glow worm
He just spit the hook.
Bait and switch
Straighten up and fly right
He's blind as a bat
If it were a bear it would have bitten you
That hound won't hunt
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush
Busy hands are happy hands
Itleness is the Devi's work shop
If any would not work, neither should they eat.
Virtue is its own reward.
A stitch in time saves nine
Don't gild the lilly
He's all hat and no cattle
Where's the beef?
It's lonely at the top
Shit happens.

When two vowels go walking the first one does the talking
A preposition is something you should never end a sentense with

That's just my cross to bear.
It's always darkest before the dawn

Icon TV Host Dick Clark Dies at age 82

Revised and Updated April 19th.

Some have said that the US dependence on Oil has been a longer running dependance for the US than any country's dependance on anything else.  According to one guy - - it's suicidal for an individual or a society to become so dependant on any one thing - - especially when that Thing is of a finite nature.  Since there was a time when we were "not comitted" to petroleum, there can come a time once more when we are again NOT comitted.  The same is true on the lives of people who one day "Find God".  If these oil companies really thought none of the other energy sources would "pan out' and eventually be able to solve our problems, why do they routinely attempt to buy up and otherwise kill-off all these new endeavors?  This is one question that Rush Limbaugh dares not answer.

Antonio Viragosa is making his "state of the City" right now on TV in Los Angeles.  I'm not sure how the local tea party set feels about 'Having a foreigner to rule as Mayor over us" because to hear them talk, - All of "Them" want to take the American Southwest back and make it again a part of Mexico which personally would be fine with me.  I'd probably be an improvement.  However there aren't that many tea baggers in LA county, I don't think. But seriously it's nice to have a politician who's a little progressive that's still around.  And also the Police Chief we have now is pretty good in having done reforms of the LAPD.  Now Mayor Viragosa is regaliing us with all the positive economic events that have taken place in Los Angeles recently.  "No business tax for the first three years you're here"

Sometimes it pays to know which words are real, and when grammar matters.  Sometimes placement of negatives in a sentense matters.  Such as the line in First John in the Bible that goes "I do not say that you should Pray for such a man" (possibly a man who's comitted a murder)  Or you could argue for instance - there are not No options.  This is a misperception.  Some may quibble over such terms as "regardless" and irregardless" and that other one - - "loosen" verses "unloosen".  Some people will quibble over the proper use of "fewer" as opposed to "less".  Less refers to a singular, whereas "fewer" refers to multiple individual things.  The word NOT should properly be followed by the word AND rather than OR, as I fall into the trap of using.  People who computer logic will understand the distinction.  The term "unqualified" means "there are no exceptions" in pure logic.  The word "significant" doesn't not necessarily mean "a lot".  It's ANY number or quantity that's MEASURABLE, and so "significant savings" is not technically a lie.  The words "soul" and "ego" really refer to the same thing.  Both refer to the "essence of Self".  "Psychic perception" doesn't necessarily allude to anything the least supernatural, but merely to "how the Mind works".  The expression 'More completely" actually weakens the absolute nature of the term "complete".  Some gramarians complain about the expression of "Where are you AT" but to me the word "At" is quite proper as a descriptional pre-decedent preposition.  Numbers can be a problem for the illiterate.  For instance people talking about having Major bucks in various way.  They may say "That guy has X ammount of money to burn".  Or you could say - "That man has a gezillion dollars" or "That man has a quintillion ways to dispose of his money now".  Two of these refer to real numbers.  One of them is a made up termanology.  Can you find it?  "X ammount" is a perfectly acceptable computer term.  Even a variable with no tracable value in a Program - - will most likely default to zero, and I'd consider "Nothing" a specific ammount.  And finally the word "Quintillion" is a real word, and it means of course a Million Trillion dollars.  By the way saying "a million trillion dollars" is also perfectly acceptable.  Some people may employ words with their own "pet meanings" and I often resort to this sort of device or "author's code" myself.  For instance to a Utilitarian- - the word "Rational" or "Rationalization" may take on a whole other meaning- - one of scrupulus fairness and even-handed distribution of scarce resources equally.

The Judge in the Zimmerman shooting case recuised themselves today because of some legal technical conflict of interest" like showing random photos of OJ's hands during the trial threatening to pull the plug on TV coverage.  Also we are informed that the afidavid or whatever- - puts out a very "thin case" to prosecute.  Let's hope and pray the Prosecutor has a lot of dirt up her sleeves she isn't choosing to reveal right now.  But I don't mind tell you I'm worried.  After all it's what "They" said would happen.  People like Rush Limbaugh.  If we let this one slip through our fingers justice is gone in America.  I'm not going to say there'll be massive riots in America or anything - - - but it has happened before, as we are coming up on one of those 20th Anniversary reminders of this that here in LA.

Dick Clark died. He was suffering from a stroke for years and today he finally had a heart attack on top of that.  Dick Clark was 82.  That would make him five years younger than my Dad, and means he achieved fame at a really young age.  But he became "the world's oldest teenager".  Of course American Bandstand originated from Philidelphia.  I'm told the only two Rockers never to be allowed to appear on his show were Ricky Nelson and Elvis Presley.  They say that even a "coontraversial artist" had a mantle of wholesome respectability - - if Dick Clark introduced him.  What we all really ought to know is where Dick Clark will wind up in his afterlife.  Anyhow it's sad to see all the icons of our Youth fall like this.  Of course his theme song was kind of a Swing Era anachronism.  The show used to sign off right before the Mickey Mouse Club came on.  That's when I was only five.  I just remember thinking as a kid that even for teenagers - - all those dancers looked really old.  You're used to seeing older people doing 'fifties and 'sixties Rock retrospectives they feature on Time-Life records.  When they start featuring old grungers on TV you'll know you really are getting old.  OK.  Apparently now they say that Ryan Seacrest has inhereted his "mantle"   They claim that "American Bandstand" didn't air on the ABC network till the fall of 1957.  I believe it was sooner than that.

Some statements are in fact logical although we may not like them.  For instance "I would rather be convicted by twelve than burried by six".  Another guideline could be "The extent to which one seeks to back off from risks to his Life - - is inverse to the extent that the Cause he's fighting for is bigger than he is and will in fact, outlive him.  One may say that one for one, tit for tat retrobution - - bruise for bruise - - tooth for tooth - - life for life - - is a nutty one.  But another would merely say "Well any punishment that fits the crime is inherently the fairest".  Mercy and forgiveness per see are not a cardinal Virtue, and is not among the seven on my list.  Mercy is less a pure virtue than "Venture Capital".  The upside is that the Soul of the wicked one will increase in capital value and the investment profit will accrew to You.  The downside is that- - - pouring mercy on an agenda is like dousing electric wiring with water.  The damage you do will be far beyond what you can even imagine. (Selah)  In an equitable world - - a 'bad investment" in Mercy ought to (and does) devalue an Individuals "moral capital".  Many may consider "factors" when they trust somebody - even a Preacher.  In alligence to the true definition of the word- - if ANY factor in the chain is false and ends up wiping you out- - then the entire chain of logic you used to justify your Faith in him, her, or it- - becomes worthless.  In the spirit of Dr. Levy's talk of Monday in the pursuit of "de-familiarization" I prefer the words "Allow" and 'Allowance" rather than the terms "Mercy" and "Forgiveness".  Because the word "Allow" conotates the idea that we are in fact Sovreign over certain things such as being "allowed" to drive trucks on your parent's own farm property.  You may choose to "Allow" things based on a "Judgement" call that is in fact something that it's you're Right to Make.  Such "Judgement Calls" per se are morally neutral.  Another cardinal virtue comes into play in such cases and that is "Prudence".  But many - - Catholic Priests being the worst offenders - - forgive things that are in first place more properly called "Transgressions" but in fact are not against THEM so that it is not even Their Place to either forgive or centure.  Think about it.

"Black" by Popular Demand (Jan 2013)

And now- excerpts from President Obama's January 20th 2013 inogural address.

You know if I were the President –this would be the heading of my Inogural address next January.  They complain about my racial genetics I’d rub it in their face and say from now on Black people are going to get a whole lot more respect than they’ve been getting.  And I’d say to the tea party right ‘You were afraid of all the things I would institute if I ever got a second term?  Well guess what?  This is your lucky day.  I wasn’t doing to do any of those things- - but with the attitude you people have demonstrated- - I AM going to do them.  I plan to institute new Hate Crime regulation.  I plan to vastly increase the ability of the average to sue against a Corporation - - and WIN by correcting the money inequity problem.  I plan to subsedise law suits against the common people.  And I also plan new campaign laws where Political Action Committee are banned.  Their involvement in politics, particularly after the Citizens United decision - - has only been one to usert the will of the American people.  I also plan to take aggressive Federal action against States which pass Voter Surpression Laws.   The reason why I will bad Political Action Comittees is that the notion that they do not represent any particular Candidate - - is a joke.  It’s a legal fiction, and I strongly urge the Supreme Court to rule on this issue as soon as possible.  I’ve talked to the once again Mjority Leader Harry Reedi and she has announced that the sixty percent cloture rule is going to be drafticly reformed to do away with all these highly troublesome bottlenecks we’ve been plagued with in passing needed legislation by Congress.  (explosion of applause)   As you know I allowed the Bush tax cuts to expire on December 31st of last year.  People said if I did that I would lose the election.  But they were wrong.  (another eruption of applause)  From now on the new rule will be 58 percent for the first week legislation is pending and this will drop two percentage points each successive week that clochure is denied a bill and it will finally fall to 52 percent the final week.  I plan to have the Secret Service fully investigate certain anti governmental security plots within the Tea Party to see if any prosecutions are warrented.  Also House Speaker has just announced that impeachment proceedings have begun against associate Justice Clarence Thomas.  (another eruption of applause)  And I am proud to announce to you all that the last troops will be leaving Afghanistan by December 31st of next year.  (another eruption of applause)  Also there is action against the sugar industry being taken and sugar’s contribution to hyperactivity in children.  Legislation is under-way for an outright ban on high fructose corn syrup.  (lesser applause)  I would also like to address the situation with the Canadian oil pipe line.  The Tea Party feared I would take action in my second term to put a halft to it.  Well guess what?  You are correct..  Today is your lucky day.  Right now legislation is being fast tracked through the House which will make the construction of the Canadian pipeline impossible and this great menace to the ecology of North America will be done away with for good.  We can no longer rely on sources of the nineteenth century for energy needs of the 21st century.  I would also like to announce to you today that the US trade balance with China was the most favorable it’s been in any time since the ‘seventies.  (another eruption of applause)  Also I am recommending the transfer of digital television back down into the lower frequency VHF range where television was for decades, to remedy the complaints about poor reception than anyone can count.  (lesser applause)  Also I’d like to announce that because of the outstanding effort of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who has graviously decided to stay on a few mor months- - that some sort of binding peace accord with the Syrian government will be enacted and that the former dictator will be brought up before The Haig on human rights violation charges.

OUR "MORNING JOE" OPENING FILE REMARKS

They say that there is massive mislabeling in fish markets, as though people didn’t even know or care.  Many species were substituted with other less expensive species.  The lady is on the KTLK show, who is promising us a lot of good topics.  I just canceled my appointment with Gental Dental.  I told her there had been a scheduling glitch.  This is only a half truth.  Yadera was not around taking anyone at the time to any doctor.  That new Mark guy said Sarah had something later in the afternoon and so had to do Shopping in the morning.  I heard her announce “Wall Mart” twice, and so I stopped myself from headed out to the store with my money for coffee and instead went over to the bus area in the NE corned.  Other people were out there such as Glen, and Joe Diisco, and that Mark guy, and Marcia and Arleen.  Sarah showed.  I would have signed my name except Sarah had cleverly cropped the list cutting it right at fourteen so that nobody could possibly slip their name in below the bottom lines.  So I made a decision I couldn’t go anyhow because the computer was on and I had an appointment to cancel.  She wanted to make it next Wednesday at nine, which would normally be a good time, unless we were going to Wall Mart then.  I want to check with the office about that and set up the whole appointment thing with them, just to be sure.

MY REMARKS ABOUT TED NUGENT

I watched a number of Ted Nugent blurbs on the internet.  They had one extended Ted Nugent interview.  He claims to be consistent with principles he’s had “since the sixties” and still prides himself as a rocker who still holds concerts.  That’s not what I’ve heard.  He is strangely consistent on sexual morays saying he has no problem with “man on man” sex as a life style for others.  He even says “Some of my best friends are Veegan”.  But he says if you won’t join the NRA you are part of the problem and not part of the solution.  He said more vile and wrong things about Obama and democrats in power in general.  He always wears that hat so he looks different.  There are times when he actually appears intellectually plausible.  Some things he says are not that removed from what Judy says.  Nugent is actually way to the left of Judy on sexual morays.  Of course you know even Tom Leykis draws the line - - at dating a trans-sexual.  He wouldn’t deo it because “The idea of a man sticking his tongue down my mouth is too much” and I would absolutely agree with that.  Even though Ted Nugent is basically wrong Wrong about everything - - one thing I did NOT see in the interview was any Ass Kissing of Mitt Romney.  I never even heard Romney’s name in the interview I saw.  There may be certain “incompatabilities” that are too hard to overcome with Romney.  But here is an interesting “analog” for you.  (“Comparrison” for those of you in Rio Linda)  It wasn’t Ted Nugent who said to me “We could pretty much summarize about how I feel about you in this one sentence.  The thing is - - I’m Normal and You’re Not”.  You-know-who never used these exact words but that was pretty much how he felt.  So I ask you to tell me who is worse.  Ted Nugent’s words about the President or this guy’s “root sentaments” about Me.  He’s a guy who were I to meet him in the Afterlife I wouldn’t give him the time of day.  And there are indications when he was younger he was a pretty stuck up boob anyhow.  (Not Ted but the other individual)  Who was it who consistently Opposed me in my sougern as a Christian.  Who added to the trials of my “Spiritual Viet Nam”, which I have often spoken about?  You know I just may do what Ted suggested.  I just might get myself a fucking job.  It would be a nice coup de teat or whatever.  (Hey- no red-lining)  I have no problem- - in fact it’s a pretty good employment suggestion- - for Americans to again think about jobs they only associate with Latinos like hotel maids, and cleaning toilets and shoveling dog shit and the like.  “Somebody has to do those jobs”.  Nugent’s point is well taken.  It may also - -lessen the “the inverse paracitic relationship with the lower classes” where they do all the work, and we get all the status”.  OK I just poured my first cup of new coffee and offered Bill some.  I guess now I’ll call you-know-who.

MORE FEDERATION NEWS

Here is more stuff about the Federation mostly left over from yesterday.  Jim Morrison was conacted about his new ascension to being “Cannonized” by the ZAC, and Jim responded, “Oh - - that’s nice. - - - But what does that have to do with me?”  And then a moment later he says “Will I have any duties or things I’m expected to live up to” and was told “Not really”.  In terms of the 22 Tarrot Card Cannon - - some number positions have gotten a certain amount of shuffling over the years.  But the majority of numbers are exactly the same and have never been anything different since the Tarrot Deck’s inception by Burt in the spring of 1978.  When I looked at my own most recent list I was surprised to see “The Grateful Dead” in at number seventeen, the Magition.  Burt had a certain positive relation with Jimmy Mc Culloch - - but this was outweighed by what Mal Evans calls “The great cultural and musical contribution of the Grateful Dead”.  Also - - Burt and I actually agree on this issue- - the original slot for number 8 the Death card, was Black Sabbath as you know.  Mal Evans has had Judas Priest in that slot for thirty years- - and that was one area where he did override Burt, who wanted to stay with Black Sabbath.  One of the “terporary substitutions” that occurred in Spring of 1980 was actually MY idea and Mal went along with it for a while.  That was the substitution of Robin Trower instead of the Jefferson Starship.  My thinking was “Do we really have to wait for the Starship Enterprise to get another hundred million miles off course to intervene here?”  I also thought the “Victims of the Fury” album epitomized the slot in the Tarot deck of “Assylum” or The Sun- - in at number twenty.  As of right now - - there are four Andromeda groups now in the deck, and these would be Bob Dylan, the Doors, the Grateful Dead, and the Jefferson Airplane.  Burt actually went to “The Yellow Planet” to talk to Bo, and here again the conversation is interesting.  Bo told Burt that “Mal Evans is a petty fellow with his little segment of domain.  He’s a small man.  Why should you let a guy like that Define who you are?  You’re better than that.”  My only response here is that I like Burt would respond “Bullshit” to this.  My thinking, like Burt would be thusly.  I don’t want ANYBODY else defining me- I can do that myself, thank you.   I don’t even want YOU defining me!”  I think the juxtaposition of “little man” and Mal Evans is almost an Oxy-moronism.  Mal Evans told me that he was wrong on the “bifurcation of Egoe conscious doctrine” he broached last year.  Actually he gave me a complement indeed because I’m the guy who point out his logical error.  Because you have the problem of different engrams- - but we carry engrams from our future, so that is the Future ones are “different’ then they would ALL be different” (Selah)  Others around Mal had told me that “If there was a bifurcation resulting in irreconcilable patterns that could not be reunited later- - then it would be impossible to do”.  That’s another way of saying it.  This is the Reyker Doctrine for you “Next Generation” shorthand people.  If anything perhaps “Bo” was a close familiar during the Jesse James incarnation.  Mal pointed out that “FH has hung around you a lot of your life”.  I won’t even respond to that.

"Cat Fights" Hit Media Air Waves

Allright, we all know everyone who it Ain't, but who IS it?

We all know that sometimes Intermediate of half way lists of demands can weaken your final negotiated outcome.  It will be President Obama's epitaph if he doesn't learn the lesson.

"Oh, you mean like the middle child.  Guy Owens would know about that, - - wouldn't you?

"Thank you, Kurt - - I really needed to hear that - - - - - NOT"

Cat Fight Number One:

Anne Romney seems to be doubling down on her "reaction of indignity".  I have been employing the phrase "doubling down" with respect to the Tea Party lately.  Of course it's a gambling term meaning "I just made a major mistake - - and now I'm going to try and cover it up by making an even Bigger Mistake".  The Romneys apparently were on ABC news last night sharing their "disgust" over the idea that stay at home mothers were insulted.  There was another sub test illustrated by Sean Hannity to the effect that "The whole problem is Hillary Rosen was stirring up economic class warefare because she tried to pit the one percent against the 99 percent by aledging that Anne Romney could not relate to ordernay women's problems.  Well the simple truth of it is - - she can't.  But even Randy Rhodes was ticked off at her "snarky" attitude twords the rest of us.  It was that one Latino hose who said "The reason why Anne Romney referred to it as an early Birthday Gift is because the Republicans had been on the ropes on female issues because of Remarks Rush Limbaugh had made.  And they knew even if the gender gap got no worse till November - - eighteen percent would kill Romney and not only re-elect the President but probably assure scads of victories for democrats in Congress.  You know they were in their huddles as to "what to do".  So now after perhaps twenty seconds of remarks- - the polls with women have completely turned around so - - Mission Accomplished.

Cat Fight Number Two:
I was just looking at the trailer for "Iron Lady".  I guess the question is whether women are more inclined to want to go to War to prove their metal - - as Rush Limbaugh implies and perhaps there is a PMS thing going on with women.  I know that lady President in that TV series- - seemed really antsy to prove how macho she was.  Captain Kathryn Janeway was perhaps the most John Wayne like of the four or five Star Trek captains.  Think about that.

Cat Fight Number Three:
Next we have big doings on Days of our Lives.  There is the battle of the Egoes.  Samantha Brady is positively intoxicated with girlish giddyness because Stephano put her in charge of Countess Wilimina Cosmetics and taking it away from Kate, who built the company from the ground up.  Stephan just did it "Because he Can".  He had the power to pull the strings so he did.  It's like he says "Sure go and run your little company - - but if I so desire I can yank it out from under you with a single stroke.  And now  I "so desire".  The problem is his son Elvis is a bit "put off" by his father's end run because Stephano and Elvis are supposed to consult with each other about everything.  And there has been "a consistent recent pattern of Father's encroaching on my territory, and I'd like to know what is motivating him and just what his game is".  Kate just said that the battle isn't over yet and that Samantha will "get hers" in the end.  Such a threat might be idle made against others but Samantha Brady invariably :"gets here" in the end because her Ego gets in the way of every important Decision she makes.

"Security is not an issue now - don't worry about it.  The whole facade has just been blown to smitherines - - like the Beatles' break-up."
 - a Mal Evans aid

Cat Fight Number Four:
Ted Neugent is at it again.  He's been "making these wild statements" for twenty years now, each one more wreckless than the last.  But this time he's gone Too Far and how has the Secret Service on his tail.  He overtly threatened not only the President of the United States but his whole administration including Hillary.  He spoke of everybody there at the NRA arming themselves and going out and express their oppinions and "We are going to chop a few heads off".  And just rattled on - - in Caligula type statements like a man drunk on his own power.  So when is enough enough?  This is where we go Federation on you people breaking the "No Dead Rock Stars" ban.  Mal Evans had pretty much disowned the whole Ziggy Lobby in February of 1984 like a player knocking over his own King in a chess match and walking out in disgust.  But what few people know is that he still maintained some sort of Control over this "Lobby Group" or whatever you call it.  Burt Lombard was the leader of it and there were a lot of avid followers.  Mal Evans reminded Burt that "I'm the one who gave the name of Zachery with an E" and not Burt.  Actually Burt represents the Moon card on the ZAC Tarrot Deck at number two.  Of course Number one is not the Sun but rather "The Eagle" in our version and the card name is "Strength" - - apparently denoted by clutching an object in his tallons.  The whole Tarrot thing was also Burt's baby.  And Mal and Burt had sort of a secret Sym-biotic relationship for a long time.  Now the Ted Neugent card has been replaced at number thirteen and Jim Morrison and the Doors have now been cannonized into the ZAC deck for the first time.  Morrison and Mal Evans kind of parted ways in the mid nineties.  Actually - - I'm adding this for free- - - people say I changed, but Mal Evans himself changed in his whole role and involvement with Earthlings beginning around 1995.  The last official "Mal Evans Rock Anthology" was called "Shabby Road" of all things out in late January of 1995 and the final track on that album was "Keep on Rocking in the Free World" by Neil Young.  Mal did not restrict certain of Burt's activities such as his involvement with the "San Barnadino life".  But the whole Ziggy organization was not Mal's to run, and all the followers would take their walking orders from him.  Mal basically "disowned Ted Nugent's after-life Inheritance" at the same time.  I don't know if he has the power to do that.  If you are looking for a historical analog - - maybe it's Truman's firing of General Mac Arthur in 1952 or whatever.  Mal early said that "Neugents remarks were over the line- - and if Burt wasn't going to repuliate Nugent's remarks flatly- - Burt was gone too".  But then Mal added "Actually I think Burt Lombard as every bit as repulsed by Ted Nugent's remarks as you or I but it's strictly an Ego thing with him.  He knows he's wrong but he wants to hold on to his ego and power".

Other News:  The whole Secret Service Agent scandal is still going on.  Of course Secret Service was established in more of an ATF or sosmething capacity rather than Presidential Security.  These duties were only included after the assasenation of President Mc Kinley in 1901.  Of course at no time was the President's security compromised at any time.  My take on this whole thin is a lot more casual than everyone else's.  For me it'just kind of a Spring Break kind of thing - - like College kids having fun on vacation.  The federal government doesn't see it like that.  They point to numerous blackmail oppertunies and such.  I just don't want this whole thing reflecting adversely in any way on Obama's reelection campaign this fall.

I still haven't decided what lead photo I'm going to use for this posting.  I've been rolling around a lot of ideas in my mind and I think I've settled on one.  The whole Doubling Down thing is something where you better be damn sure of yourself- - and the trouble is that most people who do it - - Aren't.  Nixon will pound the table and say "I am not a crook".  Newt Gingrich blew his whole campaign because he would not admit his faults but bot indignent in his denials to the bitter end.  People defend George Zimmerman like it was their OWN personal credibility on the line.  You know though - - that when I realized with Christianity that God wasn't backing Me - - but he was not backing my would be - - Mentors or Superiors either - - I realized the whole thing was a farse that would be walked away from with nary a thought.  It was a couple of weeks ago Stewart Sutcliffee met with me and said "Just because you don't think none of us ever help you- - you shouldn't assume that you're NOT getting help you Don't Know about, which we for various reasons can't tell you about".  I tried to assume the role of supplicant whose just been told something profound, but my heart wasn't in it- - and I couldn't help thinking that in any mention of E T I to anybody or even My Own Thoughts - - I was only making a Fool out of myself.  What do you think?

A Well Needed Dose of Reality

THE DEMOLISHING OF CANDIDATE MITT ROMNEY IN A “SUDDEN DEATH” DABATE ONE

First of all I’d issue a caviat as kind of a warning to answer question directly addressing the issues raised my questions and not laps into tea party “talking points” all the while counting on the fact that he’s going to do just that so I can lure him into various “chess” traps.  And I’d raise the example of a worker in a metal machine shop, or perhaps working with farm equipment and how if you’re not careful on the job you could use a finger or a hand or something in a moment of inattention.  Romney would say “Well this is a contest for President of the United States, which is a little more significant than a common macfhinist”.  Then I would quote “Jesus said that if you can’t be trusted in small things, how can you be trusted with Large things”.  If he appears slow to acknowledge this remark I would add, “Your Church does teach and believe the words of Jesus, doesn’t it?”  And then I would go on to cite some statistics about the Supreme Court and how utterly important it is these next four years to get the right guy picking the nominees.  And I would mention that President Obama has a smaller percentage of his nominees for all sorts of post- - more are vacant from lack of Congressional action than with any other administration.  And did you know that this is the most conservative Supreme Court we’ve had in the last 75 years or since at least 1936.  And four of the most conservative justices in the last one hundred years are on the bench right now.  That would be Roberts, Scelia, Thomas, and Allito.  And Justice Kennedy, the swing vote of this court, is the tenth most conservative justice of the past hundred years himself.  And the fact is that if the popular will of the people, which you tea party people claim you prize above all else, were carried out in 2000 then Al Gore would have been President and the Supreme Court would look very different today.  And at some point the topic might come up - - or I would overtly ask Romney, “Just why is it that you want to be President anyhow.  When you ran against Ted Kennedy you tried to pass yourself as a moderate liberal to garner votes and you still lost.  And you did the same thing running for Governor in Massachusetts in 2002.  At some point in his answer he’s revert to talking points and use the phrase about ‘I’m running to stem the leftward drift in politics today”.  Then I’d bring up Citizen’s United and remind him that when it first came out in early 2010 that fully eighty percent of the American people were against it.  If he were to respond, “That’s why it’s been important for our people to get the Truth out there”.  And I’d go, “Your point is well taken.  This activist decision is among the most activist decisions any Court has ever rendered, and it was decided in a minute issue that the Justices broadened out into a major ruling.  And because of this all sorts of Pac organizations have come into politics and corporate money that was illegal before.  How do you expect the average democratic candidate running for congress to be able to complete with it.  You know we need to go back to some sort of public financing of elections to keep this sort of influence peddeling out of the race.  Because the idea that these PAC groups do NOT represent specific political candidates is a bad joke.  You know it and I know it.  Romney may respond, “Well President Obama chose to use his own money in 2008”.  And I would say “That was absolutely wrong.  What do you think about that yourself?”  Here is another trap.  If he says he agrees with the President to spend the money himself I’d go “Then in reality you don’t think President Obama did anything wrong?”  If he says what the President did was wrong I’d go, “Well does that mean a President Romney would advocate for some sort of Public financing of elections once in office”.  I would go on to cite things like how Obama ran on a public option for Health Care and how many who voted for him wanted him to go after the massive financial and political corruption of Bush and Chaney- - not to mention the violation of civil liberties?  If he brought up (which he will) this new Obama executive order limiting certain liberties under emergency conditions I’d then go, “Well then does that mean we can count on a President Romney to be a champion of limiting governmental snooping against citizens?”

I would then go on to discuss how out of touch this last congress with the American People and cite the recent vote on the Buffet Rule being voted down despite the support of 72% of the American people, and go on to advocate higher taxes for people just hoarding money.  If he says Business can’t expand because taxes are too high, I’d ask the question “Would you rather, for instance have 85% of five hundred thousand or 70% of a million, and see how he reacts.  I’d also throw in the point that jobs are not created by Big Money but by necessity and use the example of the donut shop in the shopping mall with lines out the door all the time and wanting to hire on a new employee.  But another guy doing no business won’t be hiring anybody because that would be pointless.  If he says “Money creates jobs”, I’d go- - well demand from the common people creates the necessity and opportunity to hire on new employees.  And if he says “I am better qualified to run an economy than the President” I’d go right in and ask about their College cources and academic performance.  And also bring up the fact that like so many of the rich he’s “risk adverse” and that’s why people like him hoard their money in off shore accounts, because they make more money just sitting on their money and NOT paying taxes than they would going out Investing it, apparently, which seems an argument for higher tax rates discouraging “:sitting on vast amounts of cash”.  And then I’d bring up Rick Perry and the Federal Reserve and how he had said that if money again costs ten percent there would be more of it available.  And I’d ask him if he agreed with Rick Perry.  If he said he didn’t agree with that I’d then say “How many other participants in those other Republican Debates do you have fundamental disagreements with?”  And I’d go on to illustrate how at one time the right had a valid point thirty years ago when inflation was ten percent and people paid at least 28% tax on money they didn’t really make.  And that wasn’t fair but then throw in “You wouldn’t want to go back to times like that would you?  That’s what Rick Perry described as the good old days we had under Ronald Reagan.  And then I’m probably somewhere bring up his Mormon Faith.  And I’d ask him “You do consider yourself a good Mormon don’t you?  Aren’t you proud of your Faith?  And if he said it wasn’t proper to mix Religion with government I would remind him of all the other Republicans who talked about the practice of “Faith in the Public square” such as Rick Perry, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum.  And then I’d add – “My point was that other Mormons aren’t like you.  There favorite line isn’t “I love firing people”.  The income democragraphics of the state of Utah are much more even then the rest of the country- - but you yourself want to increase the disparity between rich and the poor.  If he uses the phrase “class warfare” here I’d cite statistics on mental health and suicide and drug addiction and violence, and the whole bit.  And I would again remind the people watching that what Mitt did with Bane capital was “risk adverse behavior” out to do this chop chip opporations and get a quick buck and even people like Newt Gingrich said what you did was exploitative, and Rick Santorum said the President of the United States was not a C E O.  And I might even throw in something about unemployment in Massachusetts and how that state doesn’t seem to be faring very well now economically.  And then I’d go after this whole “Birthday Gift” thing, and suggest that if some nobody said something about me I’d just ignore it and two days later everyone would have forgotten it.  But you have given Hillary Rosen the sort of publicity she can’t buy and she’ll probably get a book deal out of the thing and who is giving Who a “gift”.  And then I’d mention how Rush Limbaugh was at his most Giddy when it was likely the nation would default last August.  And I’d remind him that Michelle Bachman was an advocate of doing nothing to raise the debt limit.  And ask him if he agrees with Michelle Bachman on this issue- - and by the way she says she’s thinking of supporting you.  And I’d mention the whole 92% thing with women and jobs lost.  Are you going to sit there and tell us all that 92% of all the people who’ve lost their jobs and gotten a pink flip - - in the past four years- - have been Women.  Are you REALLY going to claim that?  If he says “No” even once, then I’d tell him to shut up on the issue then.

I’d then go on to attack this whole Anne Romney thing saying that she did NOT relate to the problems of working women and how she probably has had more one on one time with her horses than she had with her own kids.  You know how these rich people love their horses.  And how the kids were raised by two “O Pairs”  (sexier than just a nanny) from Belgim and France, respectively.  And I’d mention Roe vs Wade and how this Court cannot be counted on to stay on a narrow issue but any Ruling is possible with any issue.  And I’d stress that Roe vs Wade overturn is a real possibility.  First though I’d ask him on his stance on Gays and Abortion while he was governor and how he was for these things then.  Mitt – true to the tea party will vehemently deny these things - - and then I’ve got him right where I want him.  And I’d say, well, women of America, you’ve heard it for yourself.  And I would add that over fifty percent of Americans are now for Gay Marriage and even Barry Goldwater back in the eighties was sympathetic to problems of gay people.  And again I’d say that a moderate republican like Stevens was the most liberal justice on the court when he retired and how people on the left such as Ted Kennedy and Russ Feingold don’t even exist any more.  And I would probably summarize by saying that Mitt Romney is just the latest chapter of tea party extremism, and how a vote for Romney is a vote for the tea party and if that’s what you want- have at it
.
My final brief rant is against “Therapists”.  It would be impossible for radio psychiatrists to function unless they could diagnose every problem you have in two minutes of listening and then take the other two to tell what you need to do to fix everything.  Therapists can’t function without using “Always” or “Never” way too much or their other stock and trade of “That’s your whole problem right there”.  The phrase “Whole Problem” comes up far too often.  Also on this whole Dr. Phill thing about “Explain to me your problem and don’t EVER bring it up again” I’d just say “The reason why Dr. Phil is asking you to repeat yourself several times is not because he’s concerned about you - - but in doing this he shows that he does NOT care about you.  Because a GOOD therapist would only have to hear something once to pick up on it.  And I’d do the whole Faith and practice trip on Dr. Phill two.  If he said Christianity and psychiatry did not mix I’d just remind him of all the people who tout the virtues of “Carrying your Faith with you throughout the day”.  And sometimes therapists- - will excuse- - like say a dominant parent who suddenly changes his mind and now is giving you exact opposite advice from what he’s been saying perhaps for decades, and if Dr. Phil were to go “Why can’t you allow someone to change their honest opinion and forgive their prior statements and not carry it around as Emotional Baggage”.  That’s another worn out phrase “Emotional baggage”.  I’d just say, “Well Dr. Phil, ass you yourself have said so often - - “The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.”
