All Power Comes from God
There are times in life when you have to say "Not my will but thine be done, O God". Elvis had originally wanted this inscription on his mother's grave stone but was talked out if it. There are people who have to, for instance, get used to the idea of a major state allowing open homosexual marriage with no fears of reprisal. I for one never thought God would allow that to happen, but events proved me wrong. I have made a number of false predictions I need to ask the Lord for forgiveness for. I predicted some new war in the world this week. The clossest thing I could find to any "conflict" is the tension between Zimbabue and South Africa. They say South Africa has become Xenophobic in not allowing foreigners, like from Zimbabue in their country, even if they are political refugees from a hellish government. These refugees get mistreated by the cops and the cops will not come to their aid if they are vandalized. We need to be in prayer about this as well as other hot spots in Africa "The continent that God forgot" such as the Congo, and also the situation in Sudan, which, hopefully they are now negotiation a peaceful resolution of.
I'd like to talk about Hillary a little. I'm glad she is finally conceding defeat, but I don't see why we have to wait till Saturday. There's no time like the present. First of all, as Jesus said to Pilate, "Any power you have over me comes to you from God, and he who handed me over to you is guilty of the greater sin". In like manner Berock Obama should keep God in his mind each and every day. I meant it when I said that I hoped Obama would listen to God rather man and political expediancy in determining which new church he would join. Obama has been given a great victory. He won it over the odds of Hillary's "never say die" attitude. He has th fight not only his fellow liberals but the Rush Limbaugh legions and "opperation chaos". When Hillary says "Count every vote" does she mean the ones inspired by Rush Limbaugh. This can't be a happy day in the belly of the beast or whever Rush is broadcasting from. Between Hillary and her conservative co-conspirators, they used every dirty trick in the book to try and defeat Obama. They wern't going to take no for an answer. Hillary's most recent stunt is holding her "victory rally" in the basement of some building where none of her shouting groupies could get cell phone service, and didn't know that Obama was now over the top. Had they known there may have been negative remarks that may have been caught by media microphones. Hillary was still trying to insilate herself from the Truth, both literally and symbolically.
In the terms of my own prayer to God I promised to quit smoking and not to speak ill of any fellow Christian - even ones I don't like. So in that spirit I want you all to tune in to KFI on Sunday mornings six to nine and listen to the Jesus Christ show. However let me just say one thing about St. Paul's claim that "I was given a thorn in the flesh to keep me humble, a messager sent from Satan to buffet me. Three times I asked the Lord for deliverance". Let me just say that asking the Lord for deliverance here - may not be extrapelated to everyone living on the earth. Paul himself claimed this was some special dispensation of "punishment" or whatever to "keep him humble". Either this "special messenger" was from God, or else is this messenger is from Satan, then one should disregard the message of "You have to be kept humble", in which case then you should continue to pray for deliverance. Jesus Christ in the Bible seems to take a dim view of people who claim to be the Messiah. While not speaking ill of the Jesus Christ show I can say that the man pretending to be Jesus Christ should pray about what he is doing and whether he is as infallable as he claims to be, or that he's just a man like the rest of us.
Jesus said "You shall receive no sign but the sign of Jonah". Let's look at the life of Jonah. The Bible never says when or where Jonah was born or when or where (or if) Jonah died. We know that Jonah received a command from God but instead boarded a ship to Tarshish. We have to ask ourselves, who is Jonah, what does "paying your fare" represent, who do his fellow sailors represent. What does the ship represent. What does Tarshish, or Gadez represent as his destination point. What does the storm represent. What does the whale represent. Remember that Jonah was conscious while inside the belly of the whale and he prayed to God. So at this point Jonah was still subordenent to God. Also the whale can't exactly represent death. Jonah was deposited at his starting point. What does this represent? Jonah then went to Ninivah. What does Ninavah represent? May I suggest some of the following: His starting point represents Egypt. Paying the fare represents obeying the Jewish law. The fellow sailors are all of the detractors he had among the Jewish clergy. The storm represents some violent revolution that occurred when Jesus was in Palestine. Being thrown overboard represents "dropping out of the picture". The whale represents Roman beaurocracy & the Legal system in Palestine. Tarshish represents theocratic rule of Israel under Jehovah God. The water represents the multitudes of people yearning to be free. Ninavah represents Rome. If Jesus were born for instance in 20 BC then the statement "You are not yet fifty years old" made in 28 or 29 AD would be a true one. People like Philo have argued that every Bible verse has a litteral and an alligorical meaning. We know from Coptic scripture that "The Lord ascended twelve years before 62 AD". That would make 50 AD by my count. Was Jesus ever in Rome???

Can We Relax Now?

It would seem that Berock Obama is the first Black man nominated by a major political party for the post of President of the United States. If that happens then June 3rd. 2008 will indeed be a historical date in history. But I'm still not sure. Hillary decided not to end her race last night but instead to "keep her options open". As someone who has been predicted Hillary would get the nomination is far back as late 2005 it doesn't make sense for me now to concede defeat when Hillary herself is making "no decision" at this time. Let's review a few facts. Hillary is way ahead in electoral votes in states she has won. She is also ahead in the popular vote of all the people who have voted. Also if you're being pragmatic, there are are more Hillary people who will absolutely refuse to vote for Obama in the General election than the other way around. Also Hillary has had a rising tide of votes winning the vast majority of the states that have voted since March first, or roughly the past three months. These include states like Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and other states with a lot of electoral votes in November. The fact is that Obama, if this lead holds up, if a man who varitably "backed into" the Presidential nomination, like many sports teams back into play-offs though they lost their last game. Hillary has taken two of the three contests in the past few days. What's key is take a look at South Dekoda. This state is completely surrounded by Obama states on all sides. What this tells me is that Obama's hold on this part of the country is crumbling. People have said "Once people find out what sort of candidate Obama is, he will take off". But the facts are to the contrary. Again, since March first Hillary has been the leading candidate. Not to put too fine of point on it but there is still a lot of racism in this country and when people get inside that polling booth, they may not vote the same way they tell polsters. I just talked to someone yesterday who was an avid Hillary supporter, but now she says she's voting for Mc Cain, and she admitted she just can't face the idea of voting for a Black man. What you are seeing now is Obama holding out the olive branch to Hillary, and Mrs. Clinton taking that branch and grinding it under her feet. I don't know if Hillary is privy to the same astrological calculations I am, but perhaps she's "counting on something happening" or some news story breaking, for instance where national Security comes to the forefront. It would seem I'm wrong about there being some new world conflict this week. I feel a little like Fred Mc Murry in Double Indemnity (even though I haven't killed anybody) I feel as if my feet aren't quite touching the ground and that any moment the rug is going to be yanked out from under me. I'm not alone. There are many, many people who fear some calamatous event will overtake Obama that will in the end prevent him from getting the party's nomination. We'll see.
I am not happy that Proposition 98 failed. Proposition 99, which was a weaker initiative, passed but that only affects single home residents being used by government. Also there are exceptions such as the government may take your property to reduce crime, or any other number of reasons for the "general welfare" and "compelling government interest" and all of that. State after state has been wrestling with eminent domain initiatives since that unfortunate supreme court decision back east, saying that one private person's property can be taken to benefit another private person, or to put it simply, a big fish swallowing a little fish.
. Yesterday at three I turned on Montell and they had a show from late January talking about the Presidential race, when John Edwards was still in the race. You will remember that most of those "Debates" or "Town Halls" they had featured all eight candidates. They had his daughter on. The media was putting so much pressure on Edwards to withdraw from the race even with only a small percentage of the nation’s voters voting. In my oppinion the media did the nation a disservace for wanting to impose its will on choice of President. Some "force" wants to limit our choices using an "either - or" mentality. Edward’s attractive daughter was on the show, talking about the death of her brother, and other political things she’s done. Montell says that “none of the candidates are who they seem”, except perhaps for Edwards, who was good in a debate giving real proposals in debates, as Hillary and Obama bickered. The media, apparently appears to like bickering. They don't want to have an airing of issues, but instead some sort of exhibition wrestling match. Montell promised to have other political shows on, but due to the fact my roommate usually watches "Cops" I don't know if any other such shows were ever aired or not. Montell has the right idea to provide an independant voice out there.
If you're looking for cosmic news let me just say that the good guys don't seem to want to make a fight of it. I was predicting the Red Wings lose that hockey game to the Penguins on Monday night just because the Federation was backing the Red Wings. Of course their space war ships are called "Red Birds" by themselves and their enemies. So any enemy of the Federation was going to back "the other guy". Cosmically as I look out over the landscape and read the tea leaves metaphorically, it doesn't appear to me that "the good guys" have gained any ground, but that "the bad guys" are still in control anytime they want". We have no idea when events will again turn adverse for Obama. You can say it's almost certain that they will.

No More Circular Firing Squads
We continue to see the democrats forming a circular firing squad, shooting their own. Now Move On has come out against Scott McLellon saying he shouldn’t be appearing on these Sunday morning talk shows and that he’s not entitled to the profits of his book, as though he were a convicted felon or something. Today Scott said, I think generously, that he would donate a portion of his book’s profits to victims of the Mideast War. This whole thing in another Jewish metaphor could be likened to a Jewish General that was a brilliant tactician and conducted brilliant battle campaigns. But at the same time he allowed T shirts on cafĂ© press to be sold that had an unflattering depiction of some Jewish rabbi in the community nobody liked anyhow. And some would say “Because of this flaw, this man ought to step down as general”. “Meet the Press” continues to be hostile to Scott McLellon with questions that were so combative they didn’t give him a fair shot at actually being able to make a positive pitch for his book. On ABC the reception was somewhat more sympathetic. A Black woman said she liked “What Happened” because she got to see Mc Lellon’s thought processes and how he came to form the conclusions that he did. Another commentator stated that while it’s true Scott started off to write a pro Bush Adminestration book, that when you actually come to sit down and write out your thoughts step by step, different conclusions emerge. NBC had their fire coverage at Universal so I switched to ABC and picked up that first half hour later. The Hillary campaign has dug in their heels and won’t concede a thing, and Tuesday will be irrelivent. It’s pointed out that Mc Cain has come steadily up in the polls with independents and Obama’s numbers have come steadily down, with those same independent voters, so that now the lines are meeting. What Mc Lellon is doing is performing an invaluable service for the Democratic party in that he is giving them “talking points” for the fall campaign. If the independents knew Mc Cain’s lock-step voting record in the past seven years solidly with the President, they just might feel differently about him than they do. What people need to do is to quit flapping their gums and actually read the book, which I intend to do. Obviously once any person has actually read the book, they aren’t limited to these thirty second sound bites you hear.
We now come to the two big news items. Senator Obama has announced his resignation from his
The first hurricane has already hit the east coast of
. Johnny Wendell was on and once again we see the circular firing squad in force in the Democratic Part. I don’t get that. Wendell’s chief assertions were fundamentally false. He described McLellon’s book as a book by a coward and wrote it “when it no longer matters” and used terms such as “piling on” implying that our President is being put under too much pressure from the public and we need to ease up. That expression is so wrong on so many levels. The last time I checked Bush was still President. The Iraq War is still going on with no letup in sight. The democrats in congress are still hamstrung and can’t get anything done. The
There are people who are rats and cowards repenting of a deed when it no longer matters. One famous member of the head shrinker profession did pornographic nude photos of herself in the ‘seventies, and had sex with all sorts of men and loved every minute of her life. Now she’s a sixty plus year old menopausal woman who points the finger of shame at her callers for committing alledged sins only a fraction the severity of her own moral short-fallings. We all know about Charles Colson. How often people have said “It’s too bad that Colson didn’t get religion five or so years earlier before he did and spared us all a lot of heartache. If you were to resurrect Dad from the grave and he were to apologize for various things he’s said to me and attitudes he’d developed about me- - would Johnny Wendell say “It’s irrelevant now. You’re a coward. You should have done this fifteen or thirty years ago”. Do you think that Joan of Arc much cares from the grave that the Catholic Church finally “exonerated” her in the 1920’s? So I see Johnny Wendell’s point. When you take a particular action can be of key importance. It’s just that in this case Johnny is doing damage to the liberal cause in general by bashing Scott Mc Clellon, as if he were the most evil person Johnny could think of to vent his anger on, on today’s radio broadcast. How say you?
I’m going to re-sequence these paragraphs once I get them into a blog, so that they flow a little more naturally. I’m writing stuff right now as it’s on my mind. I would like to talk about the Jesus Christ show, which is doing and has done a credibility melt-down. Now Jesus is saying that he will accept “any callers that don’t have an agenda”. I’d like to define agenda, because to me it sounds like a code word for anyone who actually has organized their thoughts into something material to say. Jesus also said that the statement in Matthew 7 is not correct about “If you ask anything in my name I will grant it”, because this contradicts “the overall truth of the Bible, once you study it”. And he also said that “A denied prayer is always a teaching experience”. It would seem to me the first thing that is actually being “taught” is that the Word of God is a lie.
CMK Romulans have always told me that the strawberry was an especially celebrated fruit among their group. But apparently they weren’t referring to Romulans but rather the Scorsesian Reigellians, who have a strawberry festival.
Stewart Sutcliffe has dome something Christians never do and the Federation rarely has done in 25 plus years, and that is to apologize or retract something they said. As you may know three years ago Mal Evans called Stewart out on statements he made to me about the reality of the Fifth Dimension. Stewart today told me that he probably “overstepped his bounds and engaged in unwarranted speculation” when he made the remarks to me he did because “Fifth dimensional travel is only now in the experimental stage” and apparently not very far along at all. This is a big admission for anyone in the Federation that they aren’t omniscient, and don’t already have the answers to everything.
Finally I’d like to address this question of “Jesus the Egyptian”. As you know according to the knowledge the text writer had about this battle on the
