Popes John XXIII and John Paul II Cannonized

"We finally got that sucker downloaded"

Pope John Paul II and Pope John the 23^rd will be canonized in a double ceremony today at the Vatican, which due to the time difference has probably already happened.  It is not yet seven AM here.   Pope John XXIII is “lacking a second miracle” but was “fast tracked by Pope Francis.  Apparently this event, attended by “over a million people” is the first time that two living Popes have attended a canonization celebration of two other Catholic Popes.  This is a good thing to happen even if it betrays the whole idea of what a “Saint” is.  We’re ALL saints, if we’re professing Christians.  The Catholics regard Saints as people whom you can reliably pray to to get your prayers answered.  Of course Pope John XXIII was even more of an innovator than Pope John Paul II because he instituted the “second Vatican council”, which did not, so I understand, officially release the findings and proposed changes till early 1965 after Pope John Paul XXIII was already dead.  So we owe this Pope for having mass in English, and according to Thom Lerrer “It also introduces modern vernacular elements into the service- such as popular folk songs”.   Elizabeth (Muffin) is known to be a major fan of John Paul II.

Then we have these racist sounding remarks by the owner of the LA Clippers and understandably I have mixed feelings about this story coming out at this time.  It bothers me that the team players might be upset or distracted by the controversy and not play at their best ass they fight for their lives in the play-offs.  From a cosmic point of view I’m informed that the Taccomans were among first to raise protests about these remarks on planets other than Earth.  If you go against Magic Johnson, that’s just not smart.  He’s a formidable person.  I don’t know how many other people don’t want their girlfriends to hang out with “Negroes”.    At least he’s not saying they all oughta be put back in slavery like Cliven Bundy.  But still in the 21^st Century his remarks are an anachronism.   Incidentally as to Louis Faracon’s remarks about the mother ship orbiting earth and all the baby drone ships - - the official Federation position announced in September of 1990 was not to say one critical word about it and never to question the credibility of the remarks.  (Rush often replayed that one phone call from that Black lady)  But in my mind I say “Well does that mean there ARE ships or NOT?”   Actually the Taccomans were beginning to infiltrate Federation communications during that period, but Mal Evans has had 24 years to rescind that edict if he wanted to, and he never has.

Today is April 27, 2014 and Steve Giglio’s birthday, and also apparently the day in 1975 that Pete Ham of Badfinger took his own life.  But frankly Badfinger was by then so unpopular that I don’t think that event even made the news.  I’ve wondered in retrospect whether or not Jimmy Mc Culloch was the guy who played lead guitar on ‘Hellen Wheels” since the guitar playing on that song and on “Junior’s Farm” are so similar.  If so it would be a really early guest appearance.   I had Breakfast with the Beatles on right at nine and smartly waited till the first commercial break to smoke a cigarette, because I know the spacing on that show.  I keep getting these pop-ups from “Malware Bytes”, which is an anti-virus that is itself turning into “Malware” because it’s expired.  I am going to have to uninstall it.  In terms of more cosmic news Mal Evans decreed that the wedding between the Clapper and Patty Boyd would never be spoken of-  - - which is why I did not know, with my contacts, that all three Beatles were in attendance and even performed together there.  But there is no photographic record of the event, just like those slides that didn’t come out, from Jim Cooper’s honeymoon in Kan Coon.  John Lennon was ill that day.  And Mal Evans has no plans, he just told me, to say anything at least at this time and perhaps ever about the alleged statements of Clipper’s owner Donald Sterling.   Mal Evans agrees me that the drumming on “All Those Years Ago” does NOT sound like Ringo.  It would seem that all three Beatles performed on that track, plus Al Cooper and a bunch of others.  They played that “Fifteen dollar stake” or some poker term used on that Ringo song they didn’t identify the source of.   Junior’s Farm contains the phrase “Poker Man”.

We had an open faced roast beef sandwich with generous beef, and mashed potatoes and gravy and mixed vegetables, and a chilled apple.   So far I’m going OK in my ability to obtain cigarettes.  The Clippers and the GS Warriors are playing right now on ABC.   I had Leo Le Port on a little.  Apparently internet neutrality is again being threatened by congressional action from all these tea party corporatists.   I cleared all the furniture off for Nora to dust and she was in and out of here without doing it.  Dr Levy is scheduled to come by today, and another chance to ask for cigarette money.   Marsha said I could use her phone in her room any time I needed to.  The A T & T people won’t be out till Wednesday.  I have not checked to see whether the internet “feels like” coming in today.  If it is I may post something- - given if I don’t take the opportunity it will be gone.

In cosmic news- - there are two more “Renwah” groups- - I learned from a cosmic source that didn’t identify himself.  He claims that the Federation gave the term “Renuah” to this group because of the song “Walk Away, Rene” by the Left Bank.  Also the group Stone Ponies, is in fact a Renuah group even though Linda Ronstat herself is a Sirius A “tea party” segment.  This is like the religious fanatic side of Sirius A analogus to Ted Cruise is to the Republicans in congress.   In terms of the Torinos,  if we didn’t say, the Tijuana Brass the group is Torino, even if Herb Albert himself is not.   Some of the hits the Torinos have had include both the Batman and James Bond themes, as well as the Pink Panther theme, and also such hits as “Please, Let It Be Him” and “Step Inside, Love” the track Mc Cartney performs on Anthology, by female singers, as well as “Black is Black” and “The Cheater”, and also “Sonny”, “Time Won’t Let Me” and “Double Shot” and did we fail to mention also anything by Tom Jones, Mel Tormay and the majority of Nancy and Frank Sinatra stuff, as well as anything Petula Clark did prior to 1967.   You will notice that for certain groups we still do not have any constellational or astronomical fix on them, at least I don’t.  “Judy In Disguise” is Portland Reigelian.

And “back east” somewhere there is slated to be a semi wintery storm with both hail and tornado action.  Wheel of Fortune is just coming on and as you can see we were reformatted and lost our spacing between paragraphs.  The final “Jeopardy” question was about Control Alt Delete being a gigantic mistake.  I think it used to be one of the most useful commands you could do.  I thought maybe they were either talking about DEFRAG or RECOVER (file fragments) or else CHKDSK for damaged sector or perhaps COMP DISC, which almost never came up with anything wrong.  I feel better having had coffee.  I think my tongue is starting to get a soreness from brushing up against a jagged point on that tooth with the missing filling or something.

I was reading up a little on Justin in both “Greeks” and “Apology I” and what struck me about “Greeks” was the completely arrogant attitude about the cultures of any other people that preceded himself.  He disparaged the oricals, the poets, and the higher philosophers, and also our old friend Pythagarus- - who according to Justin- did have something to do with the school of Gnostics named after him.   But in “Apology I” Justin went after Marcion because about him he said “Marcion’s big problem is that he believes in a God more powerful than the one who created the world and all that’s in it”.  And he also said of God “God does not exist outside his world but IN it.  Even I would have a problem with that because if God is in the world, to paraphrase Rusty Warren a little “Where is he???”    In terms of saying that God and nature are really the same force- - even St Paul has a problem with that one- - speaking of either “nature” or “the elemental forces” as somehow inferior and to “be graduated from to a higher level”.  And the author of Hebrews explains that Jehovah- or the God of the Jews offered an inadequate protection from “covering sin”.  Also Satan told Jesus said “All these kingdoms are mine and I may give them to whomever I choose” and Jesus did not dispute his word.  Jesus also spoke disparagingly of “The God of this World” in terms that leave little doubt how he felt about the whole thing of - - as Justin insists “God is a part of the world”.   But I also noticed that my friend Emperor Marcus Aurelius- - - was the emperor when “Apology I” was written meaning it could have been very late in the life of Justin- - he ever evolved such a pontithical tone in his writings.

FOX and Sean Hannity lie so much it’s a wonder how these people on the right can make any objective decision given the fact that every news story, every fact is falsified and manipulated and changed.  For instance the story about President Obama waving the work requirement for Welfare by executive order.  Now this Clive Bundy guy falsely said President Obama would ban assault weapons by executive order.  They are also claiming that more illegals are crossing the border now from Mexico than ever, and President Obama is behind this, too.  Of course Fox news ignores stories when they aren’t in their interest, like the so called “rising deficit”.  Then of course -  FOX news doesn’t want to touch Bundy now that he is tainted with this new race story.  Randy says “It used to be racists like this were shamed into silence, but then someone turned off the light, and all of the cockroaches come right back out again.  (Selah)  They cling to this information like a life preserver even though it hasn’t been valid in two years.  Now Thom Hartman is talking how far the deficit has fallen.  But the Republicans are still whining.

New evidence is out there Justin Martyr was at least fifty and perhaps sixty years of advanced age when he wrote his "Christian Apology".   I'll come right out and say it.  As late as 160 AD there was still no reference to any single Gospel as we know them but only the 'Memwires of the Apostles" and as you know I believe modern Christianity did not become "codified" or put down on paper till Starting With AD 135 AFTER the city of Jerusalem was wiped out where a "false Messiah" was involved, hence the warning about false messiahs placed in Jesus' mouth.  In other words- - it would well be thirty years AFTER this Justin was still referring to the NT as "memwires of the apostles" and at that not even quoting from the Gospel of John at all, but only the first three, according to those who know these things.  In this brief Friday update name the female folk singers name that we added to the list.  Ask Chris Carter.  He knows.  No, not her- - but - -   I'll give you a hint - - you know songs like "Girl" and 'Michelle" - - yeah, THAT style of writing.  Capish?

Going Through the Interference

We’re a little late for Earth Day, which was Tuesday.  I did not type Tuesday or Wednesday and today is Thursday April 24, 2014, which is Armenian genocide day, as I reminded my listeners on a tape several years back on this date.  As you may know the internet went out a couple of days ago.  It first manifested itself in fact Monday afternoon during the Norman Goldman show, which I rarely tune in anyway.  But yesterday during the Stephanie Miller show about eight fifteen this internet suddenly quit working.  For much of that day the internet slowed to a crawl but was still working a little.  They say it’s “take your daughter to work day” and I thought yesterday was national Secretaries Day, or it used to be thirty years ago.  It used to be the Wednesday last week of Standard Time back in the dark ages where DLST didn’t start till April.  Anyhow I went to call Judy to relate my complaint to her and ask for her advice what to do about it when the phone had this horrible hum- - either like a transformer hum like magnetic interference- - like when you get a microphone a little too close to a de-guiser, or else it’s a failure to ground the wires perhaps having them plugged in backwards- and it’s the noise it makes when you hold a guitar or a microphone with the thing plugged in backwards.

The phone company came over here about a quarter to three and the office was paging Augustine because the phone guy wanted to talk to him.  By the way Mal Evans informed me this morning that Augustine’s name is officially taken off the “classified name” list- - so this can show up in blogger unedited.  The phone guy said there was no problem with the wiring outside the building, which is a hell of a surprise to me because I’ve looked at the wires out there and it’s a mess- - droopy in places, and almost going around in circles.  Augustine later told me a wire was broken outside and he fixed it.  If so it’s something the phone company missed.  It was just after that he said “try the internet’ and to my astonishment it was working perfectly.  It was the funeral of some dignitary- - and the Video was playing.  The effect was only temporarily, and the internet has been very sporadic.  Later in the evening it was working again after Not working right after Augustine left.  Rosemary oil is good for awareness.  I was playing an old Stephanie Miller program in Free Speech TV.  I also had some documentary on live Free Speech.  This morning I had the Bill Press show on and also Drive radio listening to “Urgent” and “FM” that rare Steely Dan song, and ‘Peaceful, Easy Feeling”.   But just after six our time- - the internet cut off completely.  I played “Highway Blues” from my personal files and Whitmark CD One tracks 9 and 10.  I haven’t tried the internet after breakfast.  Augustine said he’d be by with another phone to test out and perhaps let me use for a while.  I am one day into my five day grace period of being overdrawn by a figure less than a dollar.  One dollar deposit is all I need.  The pay phone had a dial tone yesterday so I didn’t use any money.  The numbers beeped normally but then I got a message from the operator “error 56” or something.  Then Lishia needed someone to install her Modemn from Time-Warner.  But once in her room- - the first time she was on the phone and Silva was watching television.  I remarked that this screen made people look fat.  It was kind of a mini big screen.  Then I got a call back from Judy.  My phone will make and receive calls.  You just can’t hear the conversation during the call.  Judy said the phone people would be out after two thirty, and that proved correct.  They wanted sixty dollars for every fifteen minutes of work INSIDE the building, and naturally I balked at that.  Nobody would let me use their phone.  Nobody would let me try my phone on their land line to confirm it worked.  In fact sometimes people with a real problem around here can run into an amazingly apathetic reception.  I did get off a letter to Judy last night- - but I don’t think she was at home because I got no response- - even though I wanted around maybe twenty minutes for one.

Right now Thom Hartman is coming in during a commercial break.  The jobs bill the Republicans blocked contained certain rights provisions like “You are free to discuss your salaries among your fellow work mates”.  There is no reason in God’s green earth why anybody would be opposed to this unless it were an entrenched fact there was institutional gender bias in people’s wages and salaries.  Stephanie is coming in- - but now it stopped again.  I have no subsequent confirmation about Randy Rhodes’ leaving radio after over twenty years.  I have not had confirmation on that from any other source.  Augustine said he’d be by with a new phone so I don’t have to use the pay phone to call Terry- but Augustine didn’t even show up at all today.

Yesterday morning I woke at 4:05 and was restless and went out and smoked my final cigarette of the pack.  Therefore I had to borrow a cigarette from Richard when I went out after six.  I went to the store for a dollar coffee there along with Steve.  I drank the cup in my room and smoked the first cigarette of the new pack and then went down.  We had Raison Bran for breakfast and also a fried egg and toast and butter and jelly.  For lunch we had tomato soup with kind of a Picante sauce taste to it, and a cheeseburger and French fries, and a banana for desert.  I already told you how Ricardo let me field the call from Judy in the med room with Lisha outside, and also I was away from the vacuum cleaner noise.  That guy on KEIB is named Buck Sexton, but for a long time I thought it was “Butt” Sexton.  But he screwed up in saying that the whole green movement was inspired by the communist party.  He said Earth Day came out because it was Vladimir Lenin’s birthday.  Sean Hannity was going on and on about eminent domain and some of the numerous apparent abuses by the government.  He claims the government will just take your little hideaway cabin or house if “They want your place because they have re-zoned this area for more wilderness when there is nothing but wilderness all around you anyhow.  And invariably the beauro of land management comes after the most minor violators with long guns and heavy weaponry.   But for all the hysterics of the right over this Bundy fellow I have not heard one person yet even try to say there is any justification for his extreme position. Now there is a new tape where Cliven Bundy went on a racist rant about how the Negroes would be happier back in the old days raising turnups and picking cotton instead of standing on a cold hard sidewalk outside their "government house" where the kids have nothing to do except they abort their babies.  This guy says to bring your guns and make sure it's in working order. 

Yesterday it was linen changing time for our side of the hall, and the male housekeeper was pretty quick about it.  He just inverted the blanket and the bedspread, and that was pretty easy to remedy.  In the soap opera Daniel apparently made it through his drug hearing with his employment intact starting “tomorrow’ and he can do surgery after thirty days.  So it’s kind of a victory of sorts provided there are no other incidents.  Kate and Elvis are getting into it.  I am wondering whether Elvis is accusing Kate is trying to sabotage his relation with Sammy by delivering those photos of Elvis and Abigail.  E J is furious at Stephano over this for sure.  Sean Hannity in the post two o clock hour had Rich Perry and it seems that this whole “Texas miracle” thing dates back to 2004 job statistics- - and ‘The first figure used to be forty percent of all jobs created, but now it had sunk to thirty percent of all jobs created”.    Perrh though talked about this “Miracle” manifesting itself as early as 2004.  So what I’d like to see are the job numbers for the state of Texas in the past two years- - like from mid 2012 to present.  Because Sean keeps saying there are salaries in the oil business “Starting at $75,000 per year”.  You know- if these right wingers are lying – they’ll be accountable for it on Judgment Day.

This morning I got up at a quarter to five and showered and I successfully had Bill Press on, as I stated.  We had oatmeal for breakfast, followed by an extra blueberry muffin from  Laurie, the new lady, and also Delores came through with more coffee.  I also got seconds on coffee from Delores yesterday, but this morning’s cup was far more needful, because I needed something to lift me out of my blue funk.  I have had the regular TV on since before breakfast.

Tuesday evening – April 22^nd I did five two-D renditions of Sketch drawings, and two of them were from the same “Skyscrapers” file- - done from the side, and also the top, with that wood base transparency from Word.  If “Creation” were a structure that was actually physically built- - whoever designed and engineered it would be considered creative geniouses.  This night it was NCIS and NCIS LA.  Glen came in as I was sorting my laundry and expressed curiousity of where my CARS shirt was.  I made sure I had it.  It took me a while but I finally located that white T shirt - - buried in the covers.  I went out and Glen and I talked together at length.  Then I came back in and made out a fresh list for the laundry for Denise to pick up in the night.  The basket was returned after breakfast but I did not actually put the clothes away until Augustine was through, which was after dinner.   Last night for dinner we had ham, with lots of pineapple pieces on my slice.  We also had yams, and cauliflour and - - banana cake in a bowl for desert, and from across the room Glen and I thought it was an extra fancy serving of ice cream.  It was a departure from the ordinary, though.   It’s now after nine and I never turned off the sound- - which means that we have not had the internet in the past hour or so, which is not good.

Several days ago this fifteen year old African teenager with “problems at home” jumped the fence of an airport and boarded- - climbed up in the wheel well of the aircraft which subsequently took off and flew nonstop from San Jose to Honolulu.  It was a five hour ride at sub zero temperatures at 38,000 feet where there is very little oxygen, and somehow the kid survived.  He climbed down out of the wheel well an hour after landing and is receiving medical attention.  Experts in the know claim he went into some medical state of hibernation, and thus was able to survive- - beating the odds for such a trek.  He had hoped to see his grandparents in Solomalia.  His Dad talked to the news media yesterday a little- - and he’s a taxi driver.

Somebody by the phone by the west door slid a piece of paper with a phone number to Federico who dialed it and he took the call on the lobby phone.  I kind of glanced Federico’s way and then put in my fifty cents- - after noting all of the numbers you could dial for “Free Calls” such as prayer-lines and free credit and financial help.  Terry’s voice came in loud and clear and I told him I needed to go to the bank as soon as possible and he said ‘I’ll be right there”.  I was looking for him in that humungus Tahoe thing and he came in the smaller tan car.  Terry added his name to the growing list of people who say I should ditch A T & T so the bill won’t break me every month.  Strangely, I found another fifty cents in my pocket, so I was able to pay Terry Hill for the trip after all.  I thought one of the quarters looked strange and told Roxanne it had a strange sheen to it, and I let her see.  Terry said “Whenever you make a major financial decision – don’t do it alone because people like us (on (SSI) need the help of our family members at times like this, and he had me write a bold face ink note.  I went into Chase bank BP branch, and got a really nice and cooporative teller who made out the deposit slip for me and understood the tight financial straits I was in then.  I now have fourteen cents to my name but I’m out of the red.  Terry said that he doesn’t own his house but only rents.  He said “I’ve thought about doing that - - (getting a housemate renter) but I’ll have to consult with my family first.  Terry got through this whole trip without one reference to any of his pet “far out” topics.  I returned - -  and Judy was on the office line and I talked to her.  She got my two E mails last night.  We had a talk and I think we mutually resolved issues for each other.  I’ll have to try my phone on Marsha’s land line.  I saw Augustine around, but he didn’t speak to me or talk about getting me a phone.

Is Today "April Fools!" or Something?

Some conservatives are more honest about their beliefs than others.  This guy was straightforward enough to come right out and say “Almost all of the economic gains of this economy over the previous five plus years- - has come to the one percent that is despised by the left.  This is because they had the capital to speculate in homes when prices were low, and also the capital to accumulate stock.  He even admitted ‘These days the average person has very little investment in the stock market compared to the moneyed rich’.   There was talk about how Blacks and the gay lobby are instituting new standard Debating Rules - - where you are not even ALLOWED to suggest or imply in any way that homosexual behavior is the least bit abnormal, or else they will call you bigoted.  To me this is running a rigged crap game.  If the Blacks and the gays are serious about winning debates, they need to learn to play by the rules that are tried and proven and respected by all.  And apparently in a bizarre case of left wing bigotry - - this one woman or student- - a feminist at that- - was barred from speaking at her Graduation because in her speech she came out against genital mutilation of women and overall abuse of women in places like Afghanistan and Iran.  Are we in some kind of an upside down world where- - appeals for Human Rights is somehow prejudicial and speech that is “Not Allowed”?

OK this is April 21, 2014 and we are in Rainbow in honor of it’s being Earth Day tomorrow.  We had tuna sandwiches for lunch and a thick beef and rice soup, and coleslaw that wasn’t as good as usual.  We had watermelon.  On computer I ran the “Charts” program in Power Point just before Randy Rhodes.  Today was like some kind of a triple April Fools day because Randy said she was leaving the radio and that Friday May 16^th would be the last day she’s be on the air.  I was shocked at the suddenness of this announcement, and nothing she said after that made any sense.  She relived her whole life and spoke of raising Jessica and how fulfilling it was.  She’s been on the radio 23 years or so, and also got a college education in the process.   But now Randy says (like these phoney rewrites of soap plots with a back-story that never existed before) now Randy is saying “I’ve been thinking of getting out of Radio since last August when I was told I’d be off the air, and I was thinking and planning for the rest of my life”.  But all we knew was how happy Randy was to be renewed in her contract and how she’d have hated to miss the 2014 campaign, and we all agreed.  Now she is saying things like “There are more important things in life than a job”.  I didn’t know she regarded as what she did merely as “:a job”.  To me “a job” is something like mowing lawns or washing windows.  It’s something you do to earn money.  You would never in the world hear Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity announce suddenly they’d be off the air permanently in three and a half weeks.  Not only that but she’s apparently discontinuing her web site and as it were severing all her relations with all of her viewers.  But stranger still is that she did not say one thing about what her future plans, only that they don’t include being on the radio or any of us.   It’s like of like Ross Perot announcing in July of 1992 that he was pulling out of the Presidential race.  And the thing is once you do something like that, once you change your mind and get back in the race, it’s never the same and some of the followers you had never come back, and the ones you still have will probably never trust you as much again.  Suppose Rick Warren announced he was leaving Saddleback Church.  Of course Ed Peacock left our church at the worst possible time when he was must urgently needed.  It was strictly a case of cut and run.  I never thought Randy was like this- particularly with her military background, and make no mistake about it.  We are in a major political battle this year possibly fighting for our very lives- - the future of progressivism itself hangs in the balance.  Suddenly though Randy now has “Things that are more important”.

Then we have Days of our Lives.  The one susupcious thing about today’s episode, and a new comer wouldn’t think anything of it- but they spent the whole show on one topic, which believe me is VERY out of character for this series.  It all centered on Samantha’s discovering that Elvis was unfaithful to her and that he’d twice had an affair with Abigail, and that at one point Abigail thought she was pregnant.  Samantha remembers this pregnancy scare and all of the other clues along the way and together it all fits into a very ugly picture.  She threw a fit and began throwing things and at one point threatened EJ with a letter opener or something.  Then Marlena came in and she said she was going to get the kids and they were leaving.  Elvis in turn turned on Samantha saying he only had the two incident affair because Samantha refused to commit to marriage.  It was all very detailed and gripping.  But it all apparently never happened but only a momentary - - flash thought - - not even a dream.  We are all just led merrily down the garden path of one-ups-man-ship.  But even when they jumped to aupposedly what was “real” there was this feeling EJ had like he was walking around with one foot in the grave.  And Jennifer was wearing the same red dress she wore in E J’s “fantasy”.

Well the Boston marathon went off without a hitch and seemingly in record time with record participation and also record crowds.  Good for them.  I’m sure everybody in Boston is breathing a sigh of relief tonight knowing that everything went off without a hitch.

The third jewel of this “triple crown” was last night in the “Family Guy” episode which was strange and made no sense.  They don’t kill off - - a character who is actually the smartest character on the series and the one I most identify with.  Brian the dog was run over by a car and killed.  But there was nothing about tracking down the motorist or suing him in court.  Everything about this episode was strange.  Stu Baby was lamenting how bored he is becoming with his time machine.  In fact to show how completely bored he was- - he destroyed the time machine in a trash masher.   You’d think he’d at least –  charge other people to look at it as a curiosity or something.  Then Stu says “Now I can spend more time with Brian outdoors” and almost instants after he says this- - Brian gets run over and they get a new dog, with this Italian accent to fill the void.  What’s really strange and bad timing is that it’s near the end of the season and the series has been on the air a long time with Brian as one of the main characters.   And all summer they’ll be showing reruns with Brian and the Time-machine alive and well.  This all just too strange.  Then it was meteors and judging how old the universe is by the lead content of meteorites near meteor crater in Arizona.  The obvious thing wrong with this assumption is how in the world do you know it’s just “lead” lead, and not completely decayed uranium?

In another bit of April Fools three weeks late- - I went five hours without a cigarette- - and nobody seemed at all inclined to even give last puffs.  After dinner I went first to the upstairs patio and then down to the west patio where I just stared at everybody and they were all just puffing away and ignoring me when I asked for a hand-out.  Laurie asked how come I had no money and I said it was my internet expense.  By the way that internet slowed to a crawl this afternoon.  I had heard Randy say that Stephanie Miller announced her departure on her show.  I had Stephanie on a little this morning and I didn’t hear word one about Randy - - nothing about Randy at all.  Norman Goldman didn’t even come in except maybe one second at a time.  He had been talking about President Obama proving his manhood by droning this truck of ten Al Qaeda terrorists going down the road- - and three innocent construction workers were killed, too.  I guess I am puzzled.  Are we are so to speak “At War” with Al Qaeda?  I mean President Obama regards any member of Al Qaeda as fair game- - even if they happened to be an American citizen.  Obviously knowing how Islam feeds on death and martyrdom - - this is the best recruitment tool they could ask for.  Even Yule Brenner as Ramses II had more sense than this saying - - with respect to a Death Sentence for Moses, “No phantom is going to come between us in the night” and made a convincing psychological case for keeping Moses alive.  So now where was I?  Oh yeah- - I decided to make my way to the north patio.  Nancy Bell had said she’d be willing to give me a cigarette yesterday but I declined and I said “There’s always tomorrow”.  Now she gave me a Philly and then Anita a couple of benched down also gave me a Philly.  I’m saving that one for later.  We are on page three already.  There was this old later and this younger guy who- - I don’t know if he’s her son or what?  She told me this is the nicest “place” she has been in and the staff treats her well and respectfully and “I can sleep well at night”.

And now - - the "Thinking About Things" Institute

I would first like to expand on a theme raised in the last posting.  It's the idea that "We need to allow the people the Right to tell blatant lies in campaigns (or advertising) because somehow this "Makes for a healthier more spirit discourse or competetion".   Neil Savedra is a champion of this on KFI saying that "Unless Evil somehow has the status of a protected entity such as- - oh - - no shooting of predatory wolves or mountain lions or something - -then people will never know where a person is somehow "Really" Honest- - or just one in a hundred million of Other - - honest people.  (Gosh wouldn't THAT be horrible)  But the truth is that if it's Good that is muzzled rather than Evil - - or if the teller of Truth is mussled- - by virtue of being outspent by the multi billionaire Liars out there- - that somehow- - "Well you'll never know who is really a Hero out there because they'll never have an oppertunity to Demonstrate to others that they ARE indeed "Heroes" or whatever- and gosh what a crime would it would be if these Heroes were not "recognized" and lauded for their Virtue.  How strange it is then that Jesus himself in the Bible said "If you do Good and are praised by men - - then you Have your reward".   Nobody told Neil Savedra this passage was in the Bible.  Because according to Neil- - - nobody- - NOT EVEN GOD seemingly, even know that the Good perople were really Good without a backdrop of Evil to show them off - - kind of like putting diamonds on black velvet to show them off.   People think God is stupid like he "Really doesn't know who the good ones and who the bad ones are".   The idea that anybody would DARE pass a law such as "Don't Lie; Don't Cheat" seemingly is unthinkable.  And yet we hear these multi billionaires espousing such a doctrine.  They would peddle the LIE to you that somehow - - outspending an opponet a hundred to one in some local race is a Fair Content in the "Marketplace of Ideas".   The next paragraph was written on Good Friday.

This afternoon after coffee break I was sitting and thinking about Christ’s suffering.  And today I wondered about one of Gene Scotts unshakable assertions that “Jesus was buried in a known and accessable tomb”.   I’m wondering that if a man were afraid to come out publicly as a disciple of Jesus but did it in secret- - and had purchased a family tomb that had never been used for the first burial - - I’m wondering how “public” such a man would be about broadcasting to one and all the location of this tomb- - particularly to the Roman authorities, whom he might well be afraid of.  And the story about Pilate posting a “quatrane” of guards to guard the tomb for two days or whatever- - and how utterly improbably this would be.  If Joseph was afraid of grave robbers- most likely he would hire a guard himself if he didn’t want the body of his beloved Jesus somehow profaned or stolen after having received such a lovingly prepared for burial on Friday evening.  And of course you know that this shaddowy Joseph figure appears on Good Friday and then disappears from all Four Gospels come Easter morning.  He is no more to be found, so nobody ever gets to even raise the question as to whether this Joseph was pleased by the "missing body" or not.  But if we believe the edict in the Ten Commandments movie- - the name of Moses was striken from every scroll and tablet and monument and obelisk- - and on direct orders "The memory of Moses was to be erased from our Minds".  It is a little strange that Joseph and Nicodemus- - appear nowhere in Acts or in any subsequent Epistle.  So did they GO RIGHT ON being - - "Secret" believers- - or what?   But of course- - normal people aren’t allowed to think about stuff like this.

I was just thinking about Lamar Alexander's Saturday response address on KNX, and how he talked about the government providing a "platform" for people to succeed, but does not try and prescribe each jot and tiddle, or micro-manage you to death.  This reminds me of my experiance with Christians.  They are not "enablers" of good works.  THEY will tell you that "making an effort on your own" or doing a "Good thing" may be worthless IF - - it isn't in the pre planned will of God.  Much for instance you can't get medical insurance under Obama Care unless you first of all accept the premise that you no longer have the Right to autonomy in this area but must first Submit to - - The Government Plan.  They will lay it all out for you - - and by their own definition They are perfect and know what is beat and they are never to be questioned- - even if their solutions or "prescribed actions" are assenine.  And then there are the people who "fall through the cracks completely" like the 85% of uninsured Americans who are STILL without coverage under Obama Care.  Or else they are too poor to get a subsedy or something and too rich to get Medi-Cal.  And like God and Christianity - - they keep running into all of these "Problems they didn't foresee".  Both God and the government (who may or may not think they ARE God) seem to continually being overcome by circumstances- - which somehow excuses them from the many promises they made to you.  Or "Things didn't work out as expected".   What was that expression in the "Oh God" movie?  "Well - - - you Try".  Leo Le Port said that if there were more real internet provider competition in each major city, prices would come way down and speeds would go up, just as it is in Europe.  Why does the US have to lag behind Europe?  We had Raisin Bran for breakfast followed by a fried and toast and butter and jelly.  Owen gave me an additional toast I ate dry.  It was pretty soon after that I was doing a major E mail reading by Judy, who has become quite the Rush Limbaugh addict relying quite a bit on him for her information, as is Rush were ever any source to get “The Facts” from.  I reviewed my sent letters and came upon the two major letters to Dr Levy last November.  One was “God, Dimensions, and Things” and the other was one of these smart “Political sayings” humor bullets.  So really if you’re going to talk about anything of mine being published, these two mailings would represent about the only major things, as memory serves, that I’ve sent Dr Levy in the past year.  But Dr Levy would rather have me send him predictions where I’ll be five years from now.  I am a notoriously bad predictor of things that will happen in my life in the future, and clearly he would rather have me put my efforts at a type of writing which I don’t like, and my track record is poor.  Then it was Chris Matthews.  Chelsea and her husband are expecting a baby in October, and now the tea party right is trying to call this pregnancy “politically motivated”.  Is literally nothing either sacred or private to them?  Off bounds?  Apparently not.  A lady filled in for Chris Matthews and progress in health care popularity was the major topic.  It was also the topic on the long opening segment of Thursday’s show.  When you think about it- - the Republicans had a major program to discourage college students from enrolling in Obama Care saying how horrible it would be for them.  And they hope nobody enroles, and now that young people have enrolled anyhow, they are in the place of looking like a jackass.  But of course it’s all they’ve got.  But I’m wondering whether this doom and gloom message isn’t wearing thin - - with this threadbare rhetoric they use over and over because they’ve got nothing else.  The economy is picking up, slowly, and by next fall both Health Care and the economy might not even be on the radar screen as issues.

 I watched “Face the Nation” and they had that Timothy Cardinal guy on.  They have tagged him as “The most likely American candidate to become Pope”.  He’s a plump and jolly enough fellow, with a winning smile.  But beneath the veneer of outgoingness- - you dare not ask him, or let’s put it this way - - I - - would dare not ask him anything actually pertaining to what is really required of an individual to be in good standing in the Catholic Church.  It’s kind of like looking at a mushroom cloud.  Maybe it’s a pretty sight with the right filtering glasses, and viewed from a respectable distance- - but I sure as hell would not want to be IN one!   (Selah)  There are about four things to “The Faith” or “The Church” which for me are non starters.  One is the sexual matter, which is frought with hypocracy.   It’s not just feeling uncomfortable in church if you are gay, but the question is whether a heterosexual can truly feel comfortable among these people, with the numerous “spiritual one ups man ship” games they play.  Another is the idea is the notion that Christian is a “Revealed” religion.  This in essence translates to a “made up” religion.  There is a profound anti intellectual bias and more hypocracy again.  For they will say “There is nothing wrong with doubt” but of course you can tell how major a Lie Christians tell by how often they repeat it, and this is among the chief ones.  If it were a truly a revealed religion than tell me WHAT is “revealed”.  I would assume it’s some new knowledge or enlightenment that the world and the science community has been unable to discover.  I take the word “Revealed” to mean “Made Manifest”.  But here nothing is made manifest- - it’s all Doctrinal.  There is too much of a “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” both as to child molestation, and also the idea that the word science means “knowledge” - - is acceptable only if - like in that video I saw - - it is "Revealed" science, because the gathering as such knowledge as something seen and heard and measured and varifiable- - seems to be “Most retrograde to their desires” to quote from Hamlet.  Then there is the whole primal appeal to childhood fears of burning in Hell or what not.  Without this “fear” stick held over you head, Christianity would have a whole lot less power.  And finally there is the idea that forgiveness- - as defined by Christianity is NOT some sort of "reconsiliation" or restoration of any relationship but it's more akin to some enforced "Absolution" of the Guilty- - you are pressured into giving.  The people who could compel you to forgive seem to be after some blanked protection or "immunity".  They want you above all to do something you COULDN'T really do even if you were in a mood to humor these people because They know you will never hold out but at some point you will "slip" and bring up the offense again- and they they think they've won because "They caught you in a lie.  They caught you breaking a promise" - - something they themselves wrote the book on.  For normal people - -  forgiveness is “Something you are NOT entitled to but is granted as an act of grace by the one extending it.  But rather for these Christians - - “Forgiveness” in the real world for them is- - something you are REQUIRED to grant even if you are NOT the one even sinned against.  You are to pronounce third party “Forgiveness”.   Neither- in 99% of the cases does there need to be the least bit of repentance or contriteness or apology- and little or no hope things will ever changed with this person.  I do not back away from these indicting assertions; I speak them boldly. 

I went down to the west patio and got lucky and found three butts which are better than ones I’ve gotten from some people like James- - and I smoked all three of them lighting the remaining ones with the previous one.  The Miami Heat just defeated the N C Bobcats 99 to 88 in Miami before a friendly crowd.  That game ended before three.  I went down just about two for two cups of coffee in the courtyard, and they were very prompt.  I felt like I got ripped off again by the new Ron.  He said he had a rollie for me, but I said “No, I can’t afford them” and he responded “No, I’m giving it to you”.  Maybe it’s just me but I’d bet the farm the guy is lying and will be wanted to be paid on Tuesday.  The fact that the guy promotes his Christian Faith so strong to me is just a “bad witness”.   It seems to me so many Christians, who brag the loudest are out to promote themselves and their spiritual superiority over others.

 That Chef Ramsey thing was just not realistic.  First of all I don’t know why he had to pick up that mannequin he didn't like and bust off a leg.  And I don’t know why he had to rout about in that infected garbage in the kitchen and in the non functioning walk in freezer.  Clearly the place merited an F minus rating, and he should have left it at that.   Particularly when both of the owners had a really bad attitude saying “What do you mean you didn’t like the food?  Everything we prepare is always perfect”.  As such that humble resolve to do better at the end- - and all the trash dumpster stuff- -  it was so far over the top and beyond the call of duty- and he wouldn’t have to wash his hands so much.  All three of the main courses were awful and everything was swimming in some white sauce, which seemed to be the only thing they knew how to make.  The salmon, and the shrimp, and the scallops were all completely unacceptable.  Then it was this young woman and the corrupt Sheriff’s office.  Because one of their own “Good old boys” dated this woman, and then became highly abusive both physically and psychologically- - and in the end turned threatening, when it was learned she had just landed a better job and would not be dependent on him, and was in fact packing up her things to leave when she was gunned down.  Though there was tons of evidence- - it was only with the greatest reluctance and a massive internet PR campaign- they even reopened the investigation using different questioners.

Is The Right to Lie now Protected "Free Speech"?

Many have been saying since the dawn of time (around 2008) that President Obama was a liar, and now there is disconcerting evidence to demonstrate this fact.  I must say I am flabberghasted - - bewildered- or to use Governor Christie's word - Mystified by the revelations in this report, which is true indicate more than ever that Democrats shouldn't touch this President with a ten foot pole.  I have had numerous formatting problems with this posting, and the thing 'Ate" the original draft of this opening paragraph for reasons yet unknown. I might as well and go ahead and tell you the two biggest lies.  President Obama got elected on the platform that "There are forty million uninsured people in America and if I am elected one hundred percent of Americans will be insured".  As you will remember this program was first going to be volentary.  In fact- - he contrasted himself with Hillary Clinton in that hers was compulsry.   Later he changed and made his program compulsry too, but also said his plan would only insure two thirds of the uninsured.  As it is now - - only between nine and sixteen percent of the previously uninsured are covered.  So basically the whole justification for Obama's program turns out to be a lie.  Then there is the situation with a "Dick Chaney" like undertone involving the overthrow of the previous Ukrainian government earlier this year.  It would seem that the US itself was instrumental in fomenting the violence in Ukraine and that the government now in there has some really strange background connections - - such as a pro Nazi bent.  Here is the replay from George Washington's Blog.

President Obama, through his U.S. Solicitor General, arguing before the U.S. Supreme Court, has now stated that lying in political campaigns isn’t merely protected by the First Amendment’s guarantee of free speech, but that it is an especially protected form of speech, which must not be hindered by any state government, such as by the state of Ohio. Ohio has outlawed such intentional deception of voters, and has established heavy criminal penalties against it, when it can be proven. The idea behind this law is that any democracy in which lying in political campaigns isn’t penalized by severe penalties, won’t remain a democracy much longer, but will instead descend into a kleptocracy: theft of elections themselves (via lies), so that they become just nominal “elections,” which are controlled by whatever aristocrats can put up the most money, to lie the most effectively, to the biggest number of voters: lying-contests.

[President Obama] is on the same side in this as the overt Republicans are. For example, the friend-of-court brief on behalf of the Koch brothers’ Cato Institute and their comedian P.J. O’Rourke, argued in this case that, “No one should be concerned that false political statements won’t be subjected to careful examination” (perhaps by historians, after the liar has been elected and long-since collected his reward, and the honest politician has sunk into obscurity). It’s a race to the bottom they want, and conservative Democrats want it just as much as Republicans do. Cato/O’Rourke then went on to say: “

A prohibition on lying devalues the truth. ‘How can you develop a reputation as a straight shooter if lying is not an option?’” 

In other words: We must allow deception of voters, because otherwise all politics would be honest — and that would be bad (for crooks like them,

because politics then wouldn’t continue to be a lying-contest: the type where any real ‘straight shooter’ can’t have even any realistic chance at all of winning)

. Champion liars want to continue maintaining their advantage, not to yield it; and any law that’s enforced against political liars will remove their existing huge political advantage. Conservatives would still have most aristocratic money on their side, but no longer an unrestrained freedom to spread lies financed by that cash-advantage that they naturally enjoy.

Public opinion (e.g., this), and the President of the United States (via his Solicitor General, to be discussed here below), seem to favor opening the floodgates. If that were to happen, then the recently unleashed outpouring of sheer corporate and billionaire cash (via the Citizens United decision, and the more recentMcCutcheon decision) into political contests, will become even more unrestrained by (and disconnected from) any consideration of the truthfulness (or not) of this “free speech,” so that the U.S. public will naturally be inundated by torrents, not only of aristocratic money pouring over public opinions, but of outright and provable lies financed by the richest aristocrats, polluting and poisoning those torrents, which will drench voters’ minds, and will thus poison political outcomes (which is why that money is spent — to do precisely this).


With Obama arguing on the Republican side, and the Republicans arguing on the Republican side, how will the Republican U.S. Supreme Court rule on this matter? Let’s guess. It could be the final nail in the coffin of democracy in America: the official full implementation of aristocracy, plutocracy, oligarchy, crony capitalism, or whatever else one would call it. Maybe “fake democracy”? Oh, I forgot: we’re already there. But this would take us much farther there. If the reader wants to know how deeply the public has already been duped, just check out, for starters (besides that piece where I earlier argued that President Obama lied with exceptional skill in order to win the White House), and here is something really disturbing about President Obama. Make sure to have your nitro tablets nearby if you’ve got a heart condition; you’ll need it.

Larry Elder Obsessed with Voting Latinos

There is this demographic tide coming and the right wing tea party types know their time is finite, in terms of having the backing of the American people at large.  But what has struck me from both Rush Limbaugh and Larry Elder is this fixation on Latino voting.  As you know just by historic context, this whole real estate crisis started the previous decade when President Bush wanted to make it easier, primarily for Latinos to own a nice home, so they would vote for him over John Kerry in the 2004 election.  In fact President Bush was pushing for immigration reform, but his own party in congress kept blocking efforts in this direction.  Rush Limbaugh had characterized now - ten years later, President Obama's policy on Latino illegals as "Catch - - Release - -Vote".   The fact that the whole process of becoming a citizen under the Presidents plan will take about fifteen years, long after this President has left office, is one of the many Facts the right wing routinely ignores.  Rush Limbaugh has also said, I don't know whether jokingly or not, "Sure these illegals can come into this country with the one provision that they not be allowed to vote for twenty-five years.  One glaring thing I overlooked yesterday in my mentioning of Larry Elder, who is of course Black (I assumed everybody knew that) that Larry Elder too introduced this element of Latino voting into his murky putpuree mix of topics thrown together in the first part of yesterday's broadcast.  He said "Would these democrats be a fraction as eager to admit all these illegal children of Latinos if they knew most of them would be voting Republican?"  I don't know.  Why don't we ask President Bush.  After all that was HIS idea ten years ago.  My own reaction is that you have to be really "tone deaf" or "daft" or whatever word- - to even bring that topic up.  I regard voting as both a sacred and a private right for every American to make in the solitude of the Voting Booth and I thought everyone else thought the same way.  So in answer to Larry Elder's question posed yesterday of how Latinos would vote I'd say "To me it would not make a cintila of difference whether all of them voted Democratic or all of them voted Republican.  It's their decision to make.  But Larry is toeing the tea party line on this issue, ans as you know the tea party's whole thing is "keep as many of the minorities and the poor and the students and elderly from voting".   Really all the Republicans have going for them these days is married White people over about age 35, and among that group the Tea Party is more popular with men than women.  The tea party is dead in the water with ANY minority including Asian, as well as anyone under 35 or anyone almost with a college education- - and obviously with minorities and unmarried women.  You know there is this old Christian adage about the Devil, Satan- - that "He's more active and frantic now because he knows his time on this earth is limited.  Even in that "Diary of Satan" I read last summer, the theme kept recurring that even when Satan would have a big success- - a feeling of Dread would sweep over him and he'd be more anxious and uncertain than ever about his own Fate.  It's kind of like- - well we know the laws in California heavily favor apartment tennant's rights.  It's as though some roudy, dead beat tennants have gone through the whole court process and are now given an official and legal eviction notice, but now they are going to trash the whole place knowing they have to be out by the end of the month anyhow.  It's kind of like these industrial polluters who trash this planet knowing they are old and will die soon or "something' anyhow, and screw the children and future generations.

Nevada Senator Harry Reid is right.  This Bundy guy in Nevada who refuses to pay his grazing fees which every other rancher pays- - this guy is a terrorist.  Clearly if he aims his guns at federal employees there to do their job- - this is a threat.  So he's a "combatant" at the least.  But he's more than that because according to Reid, he planned to put women and children on the front lines so that they would be the first to be killed if there were to be any Waco type stand-off.  This makes him a terrorist because he'd only be staging an event like this for the Media - - notably FOX news.  As such he's also a terrorist in that this tactic worked and the government gave him back his cattle.  So Obama backed down the same way he backed down before Putin and before Assad.  Now he's backing down before a two bit domestic terrorist.  In case it escaped anyone's notice- - when you are in violation of Federal law- - the Feds can be sometimes "not nice" about how they see to it that the law is enforced.  How is it that if you have no money and take part in "Occupy Wall Street" you deserved to have pepper spray sprayed in your eyes inches away.  But if you bring a Gun to the protest - - and that is what the right wingers call it- - you carry a Gun - - and you are "One of Us" so "It's OK".  You aren't threatening anyone's life you're just engaged in "Free Speech" or something, with the Feds.  No, these guys are terrorists.  One called to the Ed Schultz show said "It doesn't help to call them inflamatory names".  May I suggest pointing a gun at law enforcement is little different than for instance- - driving around a crowded street in Jewish neighborhood with bombs strapped all over your car ready to be set off.

It seems Stephanie Miller just had a revelation about a certain reality that many of us, and many of you reading this- are in need of.  First of all thank God for rewind in Free Speech TV because she said this while I was at breakfast.  One of the "talking points" of liberalism now (if you insist on using that word) is the Charles or David Koch brother (I forget which) that ran for Libertarian candidate for President or something in 1980 because he thought Ronald Reagan had sold out to the party moderates.  Stephanie reminds us that most of the things in that platform such as abolishing the minimum wage, and abolishing medicare, and elimination of capital accumulation (or interest account) tax - - as well as the massive rollback of industrial pollution regulations, and relying only on "Consumption taxes" paid largely by the poor as taxes on their lottery winnings ("ha!") and their liquor and their cigarettes - - and what other bare necessities the poor can afford.  These are OK to tax.   I'm not sure whether the elimination of credit card interest deductions was a Koch brother idea but this is a "Consumption tax" and apparently the ONLY kind of tax the Koch Brothers like.  It should be noted that as of yesterday David and Charles Koch were said EACH to have a net worth of a hundred Billion with a B.  Obviously they are among the richest men in the world.  As Nicole Sandler pointed out today it seems that "Those with the least to complain about - complain the most" since by one source the Koch Brothers net worth had gone up almost by a factor of ten - - in the six years President Obama has been in office.  The idle rich have never had it so good!  But still they want more - - always more!  Rather than "sede the field to the minorities" as the righties claim to fear about the future - - rather - what was once the province of the fringe one percent where you wouldn't buy media coverage of your views- - now has become common place- and prevented as such on a major TV network.  Stephanie realized that most all of these things are in the Paul Ryan budget and as such have become "main stream" being generally accepted in today's republican party.  Stephanie also realized the extent- - and I didn't realize this ten years ago- - the extent to which a few of the most Idle ultra Rich call the tune with their money of American Politics.  If you'd asked me ten years ago I'd have been a whole less worried about money corrupting Campaigns than I am now.  It's not a realm of Ideas in open competetion any more but just massive volumes of money and as Stephanie says 'As much as the Koch Brothers have given in the past, they could afford to give a whole lot more and still not put a dent in their Capital.   Things like challenging the whole Premise of a Minimum Wage- - were considered fringe ideas 35 years ago, but not today.  As someone said yesterday "The rich already OWN everything else and they've run out of things to acquire so they want the very reins of government and control Human Minds.  It's not that they OPPOSE government.  They LOVE government as long as they ARE the Orwellian government of the future.  (Selah)   So in conclusion to this little paragraph- - the Best things progressives can do is show these old clips from the Libertarian party of 1980 and just show these guys in action and how they were received in those days as nut fringe cases- and ask yourself "what has changed?"

*spacial case with Good Morning.  You know how on the record the rest of the song kind of fades out and the animals take over like with the fox hunt.  Well I'd do a switcheroo.  I'd fade out the fox hunt and keep up the music- - along the lines of the Anthology version of "Good Morning' where you hear the guitars and Ringo's fabulous drumming.  So I'd have the Anthology except for when somebody says "Good morning' right at the end.  I'd leave that out.   And also with "Strawberry Fields" I think it would be better if you started "Too Much" with a second or two of fade out left to go- - as kind of a jarring interruption in your "peaceful fade-out".

Is Registering Jews the Next Move for Russia?

I decided to check out the Sage of South Central, Larry Elder, for the first time in months this afternoon.  Strangely KABC was by far the weakest station on my pre set “buttons” and I’m wondering whether they had to cut their power for failure to pay their utility bill or something.  Anyhow I gleaned that Larry Elder is still toeing the Tea Party line.  He combines being anti immigration with the idea of defending the rights of Nevada ranchers who don’t pay their grazing fees.  And he played a clip - - twice- - of someone saying “When Obama took office our national deficit was a tenth of the gross national product, and now that has fallen to three or four percent or so of the GNP?.   Larry kept saying “Can you believe that?”  I can- because I checked out the numbers for myself.  There was an admixture of Paul Ryan’s budget in there saying we have to gut the safety net for the poor because of the skyrocketing deficit.   Of course the ads on that station are the worst of any of them.  Norman Goldman used to be on in San Francisco and was talking about how “We lost, Seattle, we lost Portland, we lost San Francisco” and goes on to say that they may “lose” another city within a month, but thankfully not the Chicago station.  That’s because WCPT is not owned by one of these conservative overlords- - so is not vulnerable to the machinations of corporate greed – or huberous- or whatever you call it.  Normal does suggest that a five dollar donation would bet you podcasts with 38 minutes of material out of an hour program.  That’s what you get now- - and the rest of it gets edited out.

Ed Schultz was upset about this “Politico” article about how Ed “took money from labor unions” as if he were a government employee and was disallowed from doing that.  What they fail to say of course - - whether it’s true or not and Ed swears it’s all a lie anyhow - - but even if it were to be true- - Rush Limbaugh gets nine million for his show, and doesn’t have to even worry what potential sponsors think of his program content or how bad content may be bad for business or “taint” a sponsor in a way they’d rather not be associated with.  So Rush has been losing sponsors in droves but that doesn’t matter.  Just as right wing congressmen after “Citizens United” and “Mc Cutcheson” or whatever case- - well- - Rush doesn’t have to “dial for dollars” because Ed Schultz says anyone can run a radio station indefinitely on nine million with no problem at all.  It’s stressed that in this stage of the game “ratings don’t matter” and the only thing is that we are headed to a sort of North Korea type situation where radio propaganda blairs out from everywhere and there is no escaping it.  It doesn’t matter that you can’t stand it- - it’s kind of like Church.  It’s one of those things you have to suffer through.  And according to something Randy Rhodes said- - there is another turncoat among the far right.  This one guy famous for the racial “Bell Curve” now says that this dominance of Big Money by the very rich is throwing off our whole free market and free enterprise system.  Nobody can succeed in business any more starting up a new company because - - Big Money controls everything and this country is less a free enterprise state and more like a - - dare I say it- - Corporate Statist Fasciest State.   It’s like some override switch has been thrown.  The game is interrupted and Big Money now calls all the shots- - and the rules of the game don’t matter anymore.

I listened to the Supreme Court hearings on this decision to force gay marriage on the people of Utah, who have clearly indicated they don’t want that.  The argument is pretty basic for the State’s case.  The State determines what a marriage IS.  It is not under the jouristiction of the Federal government to do that.  He brought up the Loving verses Virginia case involving racially mixed marriage.  The guy pointed out that the portion of the law barring interracial marriages was a whole separate part of the law than that which defined marriage as the union of a man and a woman, and sometimes for procreation.  He made it clear that the Supreme Court was specifically attacking these “other regulations” or the racial component of the law.  And they didn’t stop at black and white law, but they had a whole set of regulations for how the other races are to conduct themselves.  Unfortunately- - and I’ve found this with my own family members I hate to say it.  The other side KNOWS you’re right and THEY don’ t have a leg to stand on,  So they interrupt you constantly before you can hardly get a whole sentence out of your mouth- - with a lot of estranious bullshit that isn’t germain to the issues of the case and they Know That.

Now there are talking about this new earth like planet or planets they have discovered that are the right size and probably have the same basic geo-structure as our own planet has and are within reasonable G perameters for life in that sense- - as well as distance from the sun.  Apparently this "sun" slightly smaller than ours - - is a little short of five hundred light years from earth.  It's thus a logical deduction that it's orbit is also a little closer to the sun than our own earth is- with a larger sun.  It may come as no surprise that this “discovery” has gotten Zero press among my friends from the Other Side.  I’m not even sure where these planets are.  Places I’ve never heard of.

They say that if three different people in one day call you an Ass - - then you’d better put on a bridal.  Well Raphael Hernandez has received the Same Dire Warning from diverse people concerning the need to “hands off Nick and Gabriel” and also “If you don’t - - Dire Things can and will happen”.  Naturally Raphael- - given his proactive personality, which is usually a good thing, but not in this case- - and he wonders what the heck is going on and what dreaded Secret is there out there nobody wants to share with him.  Now before his eyes he sees Nick and his sister. Gabriel - kissing fondly- - and I would say right now “You’ve got a decision to make” - ”and may I suggest that if you make the Wrong One- - you may find out all too well and too late that on this particular issue you made shall we say “A regrettable error in judgement”.

Well President Obama got on network TV with a press conference trying to soothe all of our fears about Russian incursions into eastern Ukraine.  But John Kerry’s words are starting to sound more than hallow with nothing to back it up.  The President used the three most dreaded words in politics - - “Off the table” to say that any sort of military response was out of the question and that if we give any aid to the Ukrainian people it will be of a “non lethal” nature.  That’s just what we need now – more non lethal military weapons.  And there are some jokers, perhaps Ukrainian - - taking advantage of the situation saying that Jews have to register with the government.   One of my friends on “the other side” Stu Baby - - went ballistic when he heard this and he thinks the threat is real.  However even Stewart was advised not to put his pro Ukrainian sentaments in an official article- - because there is this historic “Nazi” connection between Ukrainian nationalists and Stu Baby was a Nazi in a previous incarnation and died as a casualty of war and is technically a “walk in”.   In another bit of news - - - there is a comic skit going around Sirius A now that slams hard and mocks- - one of those “dreaded four terrible corporations” the Entertainment one.  It features a parody of Thom Brokov as an employee of this corporation in one of his drunken slurs- - speaking like someone who’s just had a stroke.  The thing also figured these painted “hand” puppets- - where you paint faces on your flesh and do silly little skits on corny voices.  The guy that put this little video together was that Federation employee that Mal Evans fired for being “too over the top and offensive to too many people” but this video may be the guy’s road back into the good graces of the Federation.
