I’ve
thought a lot about not voting for President Obama and have concluded that it
is now impossible for me to vote for this president. There are just too many “deal breakers” any
one of which should serve as a reason for not voting for this President. The biggest apparent danger of electing Mitt
Romney as President is that he will crash the economy but if a crash must come
- - Let It Come. There is probably no
way of avoiding another round of taxes and Romney will realize it and raise them
and an ever fickle American public will give him the blame. The American people as a whole are utterly
ignorant of just what drives the economy and I hold out little hope of
educating them before November so the adage is true that “We get the leaders we
deserve”.
1. ABORTION This President has the most avid pro abortion policy of any President and dealing with the Catholic Church only drives the point home that Obama wants to impose his beliefs on other people and will use the power of government to do it. President Obama voted for a bill back in Illinois that mandated the killing of an aborted fetus even if it was born Alive. As such this President equals the very worst deeds of the Nazi party. Saying he “doesn’t know when life begins’ is an insult to anyone who’s had basic biology. Also Roe vs Wade is one of the most patently illegal rulings of the US Supreme Court and only with Citizen’s United was this court audacity equaled.
2.
GAY MARRIAGE I just can’t abide a President who advocates
Gay Marriage and has been a closet believer in gay marriage since at least
1996. A fact he’d desperately to conceil
from the Public. At no previous time in 6000 years of World History has this bizzare entity of homosexual marriage ever existed. He is pandering to a
fringe element within the Hollywood Community, but an all important one because
he’s made so MANY conspicuous trips to California to raise money from them making a very bad impression to those who cant relate.
3.
HEALTH CARE If there is a segment of the uninsured out
there, and there are people among that small to start with number that WANT to be
covered by some policy, the government could provide a small, voluntary policy
for them to sign up with and the regulations of which would affect no one
else. However this Health Care bill is
worse than nothing at all, withmany far reaching regulations that will disrupt
small businesses and will function as a major job killer once the bill finally
goes into effect in 2014, still two years off.
4.
EMINENT DOMAIN This President has not expressed a respect
for the sovereignty of the property owner.
There was a ballot proposition I voted for a few years back that would
protect people from economic loss during government acquisition of their
property. The proposition failed. We need to keep the private property owner
from violation of this sacred principle- - from incursions of both government
and corporate greedy expansion.
5.
GENETICALLY
ENGINEERED FOOD This should be made
illegal, period. The President hasn’t
said word one on it. As the law now
stands there are NO consumer protections, and they are not even required to
identify the food as genetically engineered.
They put all sorts of ungodly things in the gene scructure which is “violated’
un an unnatural way. It contains
bacteria and virus strands as well is natural insecticides- - - and it
contaminates other crops and Monsanto comes in and sues you for “stealing their
patent” for “possessing” their patented grain, even if it is entirely against
your wishes.
6.
DESIGNER DRUGS Synthetic marijuana, and “bath salts” and “spice”
and other new drugs are genetically synthesized dangerous experiments and the
President needs to make public this issue.
Also this government should legalize the canibus (hemp) plant because it’s
a very ecological produce useful for fabrics, as well as various oils, and also
legitimate medicinal value. Drug testing
for canibus is inherently unfair since it stays in your body 30 days.
7. ECONOMIC LESSONS OF THE PAST This President has been the best
friend wall street ever had with few wall street prosecutions than George
Bush. The President has never advocated
the return to the Glass-Stigle bill, which kept the banking industry from being
turned into a gambling casino, and also the President has done nothing to restore
any sort of Anti Trust enforcement, but it’s a dog eat dog era where the big
fish swallow the smaller fish and bigger fish swallow them till what you have
left is basically an industry wide monopoly.
8.
HIS NATIONAL SECURITY POLICY
IS A BUSH-CHANEY CLONE Congress should
have pushed for impeachment of Bush and Chaney in 2007 when they had the power
and popular support and momemtum.
Instead this President has signed off on the most repressive acts of the
Bush Administration including the Patriot Act and now the preventative
detention bill, as well as phone tapping legislation bypassing the FISA
court. It can be argued that this
President is almost as guilty of violating citizen’s right as is his notorious predecessor.
9.
GENERAL
UNSUITABILITY FOR THE OFFICE This
President has the heart of an “academic” but not a statesman or a leader. It’s clear the United States is not ready
for a Black President, because like it or not “being Black” is a severe
impediment to his leadership and confidence building. Also there is secretiveness in things such as
his college transcripts and the content of various term papers he has written
in college, which are roomered to be highly radical. Also the evidence is clear that the President
produced a bogus birth certificate- - which clearly has been “layered” and
highly doctored and altered.
10.
ENERGY POLICY This president favors the Canadian pipeline
and that non existant thing called “clean coal” and also has not spoken out
against this new practice of “Fracking” which has become a major water table
pollution problem, and here too we have eminent domain problems with a
corporation interfering with the rights of others to clean water and unpolluted
soil. This President has exhibited a
remarkable lack of knowledge about the manifold of ecological dangers called
by- - - for instance the Canadian pipeline, which is known for it's "extremely dirty" oil.
11.
ABANDONMENT OF THE
US SPACE EXPLORATION PROGRAM This is a
program started sixty years ago under Eisenhaur and this President will go into
the History books as the President who ended it, along with the deepest dreams
of a lot of Americans. For many Americans this is "a bit f---ing deal!" He never pushed congress for increased funding. Before
officially ending the space program NASA was being systematically starved to
death for funds.
12.
AN ESSENTIAL LACK
OF CHARACTER It is said this President
only looks out for himself and will never go to bat for other people. He three the Rev Jeremiah Wright "under the bus" seemingly disowning him having been a member of his church for some twenty years. He should have defended wright's character. Another "politically opportunistic" thing he did was his refusal of "matching funds" in the 2008 Presidential Election, though he advocated it for others. He won’t speak out against for instance China’s
repressive communacations or their theft of US technology or most of all their
enforced one child policy. This
President was amazingly silent about the genocide in Darfore in Ethiopia when
Moslems were routinely committing genocide against Christian negroes. This
President did not speak out on the George Zimmerman and Trevon Marton case. And this President would not step up to the
plate in Wisconsin and speak out in behalf of the labor unions and against what
Scott Walker has been doing there. He
has this habbit of promising the moon to everybody but when push comes to shove-
- all his lofty speeches go for naught.
That’s unacceptable
That
Chicano guy suggested someone might want to know Mitt Romney’s “story” as to
how he came to renounce polygamy and their prohibition against Black priests
which they lifted in 1978. I think
another “story” or narrative we’d all like to know is the mechanics and ‘how
did it happen” of Mitt Romney’s political conversion. There are indications testimonies of Born
Again Christians routinely leave vital aspects of their lives, which would put
a whole different slant on those things if we knew them. Mitt Romney lit into Obama by saying “The
President wants more public sector employees and doesn’t care about the private
sector. He wants more police and
firemen, and school teachers. Evidently
Obama didn’t learn the lesson of Wisconsin”.
In the first place the President deliberately targeted Private Industry
for the bulk of the economic stimulation.
In the second place, we DO need teachers, firemen, and police
officers. Who would deny that we don’t? And in the third place Scott Walker pulled
the rug out from under Romney last Sunday saying “My crusade wasn’t targeting
police and fire”. Of course now Governor
Rick Scott has the latest piece of ALEC legislation before him and this measure
calls for corporations not getting any tax breaks or apparently recognition in
general unless they will certify that they do NOT have any union
employees. That one goes Scott Walker
one better. Attorney General Holder is
investigating this massive new voter purge drive in Florida. But it so happens federal law forbids states
from doing voter roll purges within ninety days of any state election and
Florida has another primary election coming up in August. So the tea party is temporarily stymied. Randy Rhodes points out that Ronald Reagan
actually ADDED 1.4 million people to government rolls during the 1982 recession
as employees. I didn’t know that. It’s another useful factoid for the Reagan
myth busters out there. Contrast this
with 250,000 school teachers losing their jobs in America the past year or
so. How can this be considered a good
thing? We know from the example of the
European Union that these austerity measures don’t work but only make the
situation worse. Apparently Ohio is a
bright spot because in a recent election there the voters voted to keep their
state employee unions. Unfortunately I
think Mitt Romney has the momentum now to win the Presidency.
They had both Woodward
and Bernstein on and Bernstein is actually a better presenter than
Woodward. Halderman said they should get
some dynamite in there and “blow the damn safe”. The US senate voted 77 to nothing to
investigate the crime. Certain things
were too important to be “political”. It
was pointed out by both men that nowhere on the tapes anywhere is there the
slightest concern for morality or altruism or what’s good for America. It was always just doing the deed and
covering their own asses. One might be
similarly shocked at the tone of some of these Republicans, particularly from
within the Mitt Romney campaign now. You
get these sleazeball expressions like Obama somehow orchestrated the whole
national security leak to make himself look better. So much of what they say in terms of tabloid
accusation one suspects is just a projection of what THEY would do in that
circumstance. . Woodward and Bernstein said that Jerald Ford
told them he didn’t pardon the Nixon for Nixon’s sake, but four the
country’s. The problem is it set up a
really bad precident that’s worse in the long run. Congress should have investigated the deeds
of President Bush and VP Chaney while they had the power and the momentum to do
so in 2007. Not doing so was a mistake. Face the Nation had Dianne
Feinstein as their final guest.
.Leo le Port says that classic CD’s such as “Gaucho”
and “Roomers” and “Core” by Stone Temple Pilots are now in 5.1 sound on
CD. They cost more but what’s “different
“about them? Leo was trying out all
sorts of whacky theme music today.
Apparently Apple will be announcing new “Mac Books” tomorrow that come
in an 11, 13, or 15 inch screen so I take them to be regular “Notebooks”. Today they are holding a major gay pride
parade in a lot of places. One caller
wanted his Scype phone not to mix the sound with a DVD movie he was watching
through his TV so that his friend’s voice didn’t come out through the TV
speaker. Leo thinks he can do that. Android has “open” software, as you
know. But normally as with Apple you are
not the “Administrator’ of your own software but have the status as a limited
user. But because Android invites all
comers to add things, they are more vulnerable to every form of virus. Leo reminds us that distracted driving is
nothing new and there are still people who put on make-up or even read the
newspaper while driving. They have a
device that will disable your kid’s I Phone if he’s moving more than a few
miles per hour. They have the technology
to disable all I phones in movie theaters but it’s illegal in the United States
for safety reasons, and that makes sense.
The LA Kings won the game tonight 6 to 1 and won the Stanley Cup Championship at Staple's center. Congradulations! And in the extra terriestrial news Stewart and Mal Evans met today. Stewart agrees with me on three where he opposes Mal Evans on all three, and these are abortion, gay marriage, and genetic alterations in foods. Mal Evans is aparently with the President on all of these issues. I talked to Stewart Sutcliffe yesterday and Stu told me that Burt agrees with me that President Obama has got to go. Today Stu just talked to me during the game and he said that I disagrees with my eminent domain plank because "Relation between a citizen and the government is a matter of trust. You trust that the government will look after your interests and that if they need your property you'll gladly let you have it. And they will trust you - - as long as you can be trusted. So the examples you gave to me just wouldn't happen normally". Of course I told him "The can and do happen and frankly your set-up seems a little one-sided to me". Yesterday Stewart almost sounded sympathetic to Ted Nugent saying 'You don't know but what his life MIGHT be in danger if Obama wins, because you and I don't know what sort of secrets he has up his sleeves. You know how he's a secretive kind of guy"." This photo might be called the Romulan version of the "Stanley Cup" or something. I tagged this photo "whatchamacallit".
I had a theory about Romulan cloaking devices and how they work and the Romulans didn't respond to me, and the Federation said "There is no idea you could get your idea to work. We've tried everything". My idea was based on the notion of "fooling the molicules into thinking they were really shorter waves than they were" on the general principle of the microwave oven causing molicules to ocelate. If you could fool lower frequency waves into "behaving the same way" then they might ocelate faster than light in a manner that would NOT generate dangerous radiation because it would be longer wave and yet the molicules would respond to the stimulation as though it were shorter waves. This "deception" principle is one used a lot in gene splicing. This principle obviously has nothing to do with concave space.
