Solidarity with the Universe

I don't like doing rewrites but this posting got deleted last night before it was even published.  I pushed a key and the thing went "poof!" and I couldn't get it back.  There are a number of freakazoid things that have been occuring like this lately like KTLK having their "production and engineering' problems this morning with us getting some promo for a Chicago radio station from Stephanie Miller I don't think we were supposed to hear.  Of course KPOJ in Portland's radio format went bye bye yesterday just like Stephanie warned us about.  But Mal Evans told me to do last night's thing over just as we had really intended it.  So we kick off with some Joan Baez lines from a 1965 song.  Joan Bias is an Andromeda D as you may know.  Other female singers of the period of note who were Andromadan are Mama Cass, Cher, Janis Joplin, Grace Slick - and the lead singer who preceded her, Christie Mc Vee, Stevie Nicks,, and also Mary from Peter, Paul, and Mary.  Female singers of the period who are other than Andromadan include Jackie De Shannon, Melanie, Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Dion Warwick, Lulu, and Dusty Springfield.

Show me the prison, snow me the jail,
Show me the young man- whose life has gone stale
And I'll show you a young man- with so many reasons why
There but for fortune- go you, and go I

Show me the whiskey stains on the floor
Show me the drunkard- as he stumbled out the door
And I'll show you a young man- with so many reasons why
There but for fortune, go you and go I

Some may wonder whether this phrase of Catholics in particular of "There but for the grace of God go I" refers possible to "what if we had been born into another time line in a parrellel universe.  Sometimes you wonder whether you have women up and find yourself in a parrellel universe.  Tea party members might regard as "the morning after' in this case, November 7th as like some horrible hangover they'd just as soon forget.  Sometimes we think one freaky day that "The stars must be out of allignment' or something.  But Stu and Mal agree that we owe no allegence to anyone in a parrellel universe, and they owe no allegence to us.  Mal reminded me last night "sometimes you think things are "jut not right' and you must have woken up in a parrellel universe" but he assures me this just Can't happen.  But yesterday Mal Evans gave a distasteful example of "non empathy" that has been condemned by a whole lot of people.  Mal said that this guy who melted down all these war monuments for their scrap metal content- - was "excercising a logical result of an economic need- and bears no emotional allegence to the people for whom the monument was dedicated- - no matter how harrowing the battle comemorated was.  Because for a twenty year old today - - it's as unlikely to "identify" with someone from a World War II battle- as in your generation (referring to this writer) would in identifying with a battle from the Crimean War or something in the 19th century in Russia.  I would like to again quote the statement Captain Piccard made when he allegedly encountered a guy from "the Future".  He told him "I don't give a damn about YOUR future or how a decision I make Today might affect YOU - - I am concerned about Today- - and today I have a decision to make".  Mal then went on to relate an incident from a movie we all know about.  Some Hebrew slaves in Egypt spied the temple grainaries and one slave said to another "Do you suppose we could raid that and get food to eat" and another said "I don't know- - it depends what's really in there" and another said "Temple grainaries are full" and it came to pass that they opened up the sacred temple graimeries to feed the masses.  Jesus related a story of how King David took the Temple show bread to feed his hungry men with, so they could fight better.  The Bible actually makes provision for this in the OT about "taking back your sacrifice to God" but then paying back one fifth again as much, when you make restitution.  Mal also reminded me that after Moses smashed the gold tablets, that Moses had to wait an equally long period again on Mt Sinai to again receive God's Law - - and having received it yet again, found that not one word of it had been changed.  There is a lesson here to learn.

But we do owe our solidarity to this universe.  We are team players.  And an individual member should not seek his own Glory at the expense of overall team cohesion and performance.  Occasionally a player should take a hit to his own Ego, and help out another team mate and make HIM look better today, if it's for the overall benefit of the team.  Personally I would not want to trade places with James Dobson or Fred Price or John Mc Arthur.  I've thought about what it might be like to be as respected and influencial as these men are.  But they are not me and I don't want to be Them.  You don't lend aid to another because you are in tea party lingo "Surrendering to their Socialist demands to obtain your wealth for themselves".  No, you help out another because it is the right thing to do as a "team player". Capish?  We don't owe our allegence to another Universe.  But we do owe our solidarity with this Universe.  That Arab thing suggested I do a rewrite when I originally wrote "Show your Solidarith with Mike Bloomfield by supporting the Chicago Bears in tonight's game".  They lost, of course.  For some reason the software wanted me to say rather "Our Solidarity".  I meant what I meant.  I wasn't addressing the remark to myself; I was addressing it to YOU for You to do".  Capish?  Of course one KTLK host pointed out that "Some Christian's views of Heaven- - - or views on "The way things ought to be" seem to have no basis in This universe or ANY logical conceivable Universe.  Because these Christians run their mouths and yet have no logical conception of the things they are talking about- - and if they were ever held accountable to explain any of it, would be up a creek without a paddle.  Some people who would almost put it in physics terms of "Having to pay the Universe back" or stated conversely "The Universe is paying you back for your Deeds be they good or evil".  Personally if there is some "physics' to that- - I don't know what it is.  I guess Karma is something I have always accepted "On Faith" just basing my view on either a hunch- or the credibility of the words of others.

This whole David Petrayas thing is getting messy with the "cat fight" e mails between competing women vying for his affection.  Even my brother, Al, wrote me in an E mail that "Perhaps David Petrayss resigned so he wouldn't have to testify before congress next week".  We all know that when a CIA chief is about to testify like with William Casey under Reagan for instance - - strange things have been known to occur.  Yeah.  Others have speculated that the reason why Mitt Romney dropped the whole Bengazi killing incident as a campaign issue- - when he had a golden plum opportunity to bring it up and bring this President down- - was because he regarded David Petrayas as a hero of the Bush administration and didn't want to say anything against him.  Others and perhaps myself- - are of the oppinion that "some strange force is guiding foreign policy and has been for decades- - that nobody is in control of but a secret elite group, who really run the country".  It's a mess and it's going to get messier.  We all knew something was a little "off" about this female biographer.  People had hunches that "something like this was actually occurring" before the fact.  I'm glad it was all postponed till after the election.  Perhaps the strange FORCE out there that prevented Mitt Romney from bringing up the Bengazi issue in the debate is the same force that prompted Justice Roberts to stab the Tea Party in the back, by going along in saying that Obama Care, and with the "individual mandate' was all Legal.  I don't know.  I remain puzzled by that June supreme court ruling, actually.  But like Paul Simon gang long ago - - "God only know - - God makes his plans - - the Information is unavailable to the common man".
