The Other "Roger and Me"

"Excuse me Sir.  I assume you're here for tonight's performance.  Tell me, are you the Conductor or one of the musicians?"

"Neither one, Sir.  I am a Floutist"

Yeah, and a lot of "Floutists" were kept busy during MMT  (Master Magician Training)  You need other stuff to keep the carnival going just as long as you don't Kite expenses too high.

Just a little "heads up"
There are three paragraphs
to go after this one.

I’m going to try and keep the dog whistle speech down to a minimum for this posting.  The way I originally had it mapped out in my mind, by the time you were done reading, your basset hound would be howling in protest.  I’d like to pick up on an important concept about myself as a sort of “Key to understanding me” in this file.  As you know I have been as it were “Interviewing Candidates” for who was the “Mystery John Lennon” for large segments of time beginning principally in January of 1964 (coincidentally since the Beatles were popular in America) with a couple of early latter 1963 spots.   My reason for doing so is simple.  Remember that I have always said I had no “Visual” stimulus during this “Recall” or whatever, which puzzled me since all the other “other lives” recalls have visual including earlier ones of the Beatles in 1960.  Interestingly the only other country that has readers to my blog outside the United States is Germany, so Hello.  There is another reason why I believe “that wasn’t me”.  I’m not Smart enough to have come up with all those songs not to mention innovative writing concept where the musical peramaters were expanded.  Because to be perfectly frank, a lot of that stuff caught Me by surprise.  I mean you have that varied speed stuff and backwards stuff and synthizers before they had synthizers, and the whole Dylan era thing.  I’m looking for a candidate who started out relatively normal and got psychedelic in the later years and was a partaker in LSD.  I’m kind of invisioning a guy who never got married, at least in that period.  Preferably he was a guy who was good at coming up with trippy names for Rock Groups.  It should be someone who played the piano and sang.  Preferably he would be a writer and also preferably was the dominant person in the rock group he was in.  I have always been fascinated by the British psychedelic and pre psychedelic era.  I would want him to be a big fan of the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, the Yardbirds, the Beatles, and the Who.  I was going to play with that a little and say “Can you guess who I am referring to?” and then say, “actually the word Who in that sentence is incorrect”.   But what you want to know if when the guy gets his pay check every Friday and goes to the bank, Who cashes it?  And I say “That’s right, every penny of it”. We have a HIT on all but the last one.  He was born Roger but his initials don’t form a cross in semaphore.  And no this candidate is not or ever was a member of the Who.  There are other considerations to this individual’s life which arrested my attention.  As you know my version of Jess Ryder has him with apparently no siblings and going through the death of his mother.  Well this individual’s siblings left home at an early age.  He was close to his mother after his father died.  Also flagging my attention was the “Pete Best connection” of having a mother who actually Encouraged her son to be in a rock band and even perform in their home, a la Mona Best.  This fact alone ex post facto attracted me to Pete Best.  And of course this individual went to Art College just like Stu Baby did.  Also as you know an A T & Y guy was asking me questions the other night.  He came up with just the perfect Plan for my needs tailor suited to my tastes and budged and he can “Let me have it for just $166.00 a month”.  Anyhow I admitted to him one of my secret passions since childhood.   (“Are you talking about all of those man on wolf sex sites that you visit?”)  Well it seems this Candidate shares this same passion.  That scores a lot of points with me.  He’s a guy who changed his name to something a little more “British” and hip.  It would help if his keyboard playing style resembled John Lennon’s.  Well, listen to the keyboard part in “I’m Really Down” and decide for yourself.  Also of fascinating note, this guy’s best friend and as it were post mortum Advocate- - - actually taught John Lennon how to play a certain guitar riff (which is some cross polinization I had already suspected).  This Artist as it were was only famous for one album in his own right, but the entire thing used to be on the old CNET site that’s defunct now.  It was a pleasant trip down memory lane for me.  Also my chronology folder “One Step Beyond” was inspired by this album in early April 1985.  Oh, and did I say this guy was into the I Ching?  (you brighter bulbs are starting to figure out who he is from that clue)  He’s a guy who likes to name things, and coin new compound words with hidden meanings.   If I include the photo I think I’m going to - - I might say something about old Sony Stereo tape recorders.  Track two runs backwards but track three runs forward.  That’s when Blue Oyster Cult doesn’t steal from it.  (Normally BOSCS are known for charting their own original course in life).  There is a certain amount of cross pollination between track seven of their own album and Rolling Stones album Nine track Five (people count RS albums differently so take several shots at it)  Someone would look at my Dylan, Stones and Doors list and see this song listed and go “You mean you’re including THAT track on a Best Of album???”  I’m the only one with the cajones to do it.  Like I say this guy had a best friend since childhood, and apparently one could ask for no better, for it’s few people who work as hard to, shall we say, be your chief Advocate and keep your legasy alive.  Tword the end of his musical run, if you go with my theory, he was into conversations with Bulldogs and not wanting anybody to Change his world and praising the Maharishi.  JAI GURU DEV  Works for me.  These are just a few things that didn’t fit in last night’s paragraph.  I may add to this posting with other stuff later.

"WE'LL RETURN TO THE TONY IONI SHOW IN "MY PERFECT WORLD", ON KTLK 1150 RIGHT AFTER I TAKE MY NOONTIME ANTI PSYCHOTIC MEDICATION

OK let’s talk about my take on the REAL John Lennon.  First of all most people in the Cosmos on the “Other Side” tend to guard their speech and their personal feelings.  This includes John Lennon.  One thing I like about Stu Baby is that he always speaks his mind and gives me the straight skinny.  Mel Evans guards his speech.  If I hear a remark like “The Federation won’t allow me to discuss that issue” it most likely won’t come from Mal.  Mal doesn’t even like this “fifth dimensional stuff” because it isn’t the Official (at least Public) doctrine of the Federation as a whole.  I like Stewart’s “in your face” attitude tword those who might be his Superiors.  There are people who are not exactly on my Wave Length, but at least they’re on a wave length near by.  Like they are somewhere in the Police Band between 30 and 54 megacycles, for example.  Jess Ryder falls into this category.  He and I share that same “secret passion” I discussed earlier.  (right now Stephany Miller is going “Oh- he really IS bi-sexual)  No, not that.  Basically I identify with everything John Lennon says about Christianity, but he doesn’t have the requisite background to “Despise it” as much as I do.  John Lennon is more adverse to Violence to make your “point” than I am.  Perhaps this is because he has a Past to overcome.   Songs where Lennon wears his feelings on his sleeve by the Beatles were most likely not the REAL John Lennon.  Other than the four songs outlined on the White Album already discussed, I think Denise may have made a few other lyrical contributions, such as “Dear Prudence, can you come out to play” and “- - but if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao, you ain’t gona make it with anyone anyhow”.  That sounds like something a teenage girl might say.  Of course certain of his own Beatle songs, John now says he hates.
And now it’s fractured Classical Music brought to you by Romulans.  In June of 1977 we came up with a Samba version of the opening movement of Mozart’s Symphony no 40, dominated by piano by Black Bart’s brother.  We have a track that’s heavily dominated by a gurgly organ in classic Procol Herem tradition - - that is the Second Movement of Tsychosky’s Fourth Symphony, which has lyrics now written by Mick Gordon.  And then we have “The farther you fall, the higher you go” that’s the third movement of Beethoven’s first symphony, that rhythmically has a Manic Depression beat, with Morice Capeta, brother of Cabrillo Capeta on drums.  It’s a safe assumption that “Me and My Monkey” provided lyrical inspiration here.  We also have that Jewish dance dong “Havee Na-gilla” or whatever that Dylan did in an instrumental form dominated by Frank Henshaw on guitars and his roomered Gay lover, Sandy Zimmerman on drums- - that’s patterned after “Killer” by Alice Cooper.  And by the way the letters F H we use, refers to an entirely different person, who has a vaguely German sounding name we’re keeping under wraps, as we are with so many CMK org names.
Marriage in the 21st century will become obsolete.  To fall back on what the Real John Lennon may have said in 1966,  “Both marriage and religion are doomed.  I can’t say which institution will go first”.  Romney went down in the polls after last night’s debate.  Maybe there was a fire.  There was finger wagging involving Arlen Specter, whom Santorum supported over the tea bagger.  But he did it because Arlen Specter voted right wing on Supreme Court Justices starting with Clarence Thomas.  I continue to find Specters grilling of Anita Hill with abusive questions to be a distasteful experience.  Specter was a committee chairman and as such was in a unique position of power.  But Romney says that if it weren’t for Arlen Specter we would not have Obama Care today.  I think Ron Paul has a point in that we needn’t worry about moral issues in either Education of Medicine, because the Federal Government has no business being in either one of these areas to begin with.  I dislike the “full faith and credit” provision of the US Constitution.  I don’t see why California should have to recognize either a marriage or a divorce that took place in the state of Nevada.  Also I don’t see why it’s a crime in Arizona for Law Enforcement of FEDERAL LAWS already on the books on immigration.   I fail to see how some “executive order” can trump for instance an ARIZ “executive order” that we are going to enforce Immigration laws in this state.  I would not recognize gay marriages from other states.  This would eliminate the need for a national constitutional amendment.  We doo need an Amendment on Corporate person-hood, and another for the Line Item Veto.  Ear marks are no problem as far as I’m concerned as long as the President has the power to Veto them out.
