If you are God and perceive everything perfectly that you see and experiance through the senses I guess you don't need to read this blog. A famous man once said that it's a sign of true intelligence in a human that he can hold two contradictry truths in his mind at the same time. Note I did not call this "Paradoxical truths", because these are just word play, such as, "What gets bigger the more you take away from it- - a hole". Some things aren't contredictory truths at all like those adds that used to say "Certs is a candy mint- - - Certs is a breath mint" or the "Less filling - - tastes Great" contraversey. I'm talking about something like everybody saying that Visual Basic was easier than QuickBasic. To my way of thinking visual basic is much harder in about every respect. But what "Visual" does is provide templates and short-cuts. They color code the program. Variables are in black, and program words are in blue, string variable values are in red, and comentary is in green and the label numbers are aqua. Also there is a thing in Visual where after you have used all their shortcuts you can see all the lengthly code you've generated. As an ex DBase plus user it's like opperating in "Assist" mode, which I rarely did, because it slowed me down. To my way of thinking it's alltogether "simpler" when you have sovreign control over everything. If you want to generate a Windows compatable program people will actually pay you money to produce, then go with Visual. Money isn't bad.
Is light a wave or a particle? People like Time-Life say it's both and that "visable light as a split personality". Well, the wave theory had pretty much one hundred percent been proven by the latter part of the nineteenth century. But then you have of course photons, which behave like particles, that are chargeless electrons. Also there is one medical program where they said that an X ray machine would "fry" your electronic device such as a cell phone. I wondered at this but then remembered Leo Le Port's talking about nutrinos from cosmic rays and how just one priticle could trip a computer bit from zero to one. Also I saw or read how longer wavelengths of light generate these nutrino particles once in a blue moon but with cosmic rays, every wave has a particle in it, that permiates lead and anything else, and according to Chuck Smith causes premature aging. So there is the wave - - particle duality.
Then there is a "fifth dimensional" contraversy we discussed a couple of Posts ago that the Federation people were debating among themselves. In a closed four-dimensional universe there would seem to be no place for a fifth dimension, especially an "unreality" dimension. When you're dealing with cosmological physics you have to keep certain truths in mind. A big one is that the nature of the space surrounding a piece of matter is determined by the nature of the particles that make up that specific matter. When the Big Bang occurred, and for perposes of argument we're assuming that it did- - nothing was defined- - neither the nature of matter nor the dimensions of space. Even the best scientists say that "dimensions were lost soon after the big bang". I maintain that the whole idea of "oblique" universes best illustrates the fifth dimension. That is - - if matter is almost like ours- - - maybe it's "off" only fractions of a degree from our own- - - then this universe is "mostly" foreward time, we we define foreward time. But suppose there is something we can't measure, like the human "soul" or "plasma energy" or even "thought energy" - - or anything else that we can't measure in our Universe at all, so has no substantive reality in this universe- - something like this may well be a perpendicular universe to ours. Of course you may ask "If it isn't measurable matter or exist in foreward time, how can we determine when and where it was created". Ah soo! You have discovered a truth. We may have to cope with things that were NOT "created" in our form of time. This reality of a fifth dimension may be argued itself in terms of Absolute or Relative. What we define as foreward time may be "sideways time" to this other perpendicular dimension. This is the pure relative view. "Foreward" having no absolute. Indeed under this view, "backwards" or anti-matter is just as relivant as foreward matter and time. I think it's pretty safe to assume that this anti-matter cannot exist in our forward time because it has its own "backward time" to exist in. I think the view the Federation takes is that there is a pure "forward time" and that any oblizue variant is just that: a varient from True Reality, which the Federation perports to represent. Then there is the question "If there is an absolute forward time- - - " are we in it or are we "skiewed" or "off" a bit and when Truth is revealed to us will our "reality" suddenly be wiped out by a Truer fifth dimensional reality that is right on- - at a non oblique angle?
The previous paragraph was pretty much review to our regular readers but I thought its truths were worth resstating at this time. Gene Scott talks about the "Geshtaldt" learning theory by wshich we learn truths by having them be repeated over and over. So if I were to watch more Visual Basic videos I might assume that subsequent ones would go over the same ground I've been exposed to but cover it in a bit different aspect and this time around I'd "get it".
Another contradictory truth is the whole immigration thing. As President I'd like to think I'd be like Mit Romney, you know, Mr. hard-ass tword the illegal aliens. I envision myself running on this type of platform. In this Thom Hartman eutopia employers who hired illegal aliens would be thrown in jail and states that allowed drivers licenses or free tuition to illegal alians would be the target of a ruthless vendetta by the Federal Government. I would campaign on such a platform because I see the necessity of these steps. But another truth is that I'm a Christian with Christian values. Jesus Christ on KFI once said that if he were a worker and he learned that his best friend on the job was an illegal alien, Jesus would turn him in. This struck an immediate alarm note with me. "What about the golden rule - -do unto others as you would have them do unto you". If I were a hard working alien with six kids and perhaps working overtime to send back money to my family and a good Catholic and attended mass every Sunday, I would feel betrayed if a Christian brother turned me in, in the name of the Lord. Dennis Prager has spoken of Micro verses Macro values in society, and that on the micro level we are to show compassion to our brother. Maybe I feel the state has the moral cradibility to bust an employer or something but I as a private citizen wouldn't feel right about doing it, because certain things are just the state's not and not for an individual.
Finally there is the whole bit about religion in politics. I readily admit to two contradictry truths. On one hand I agree with Thom Hartman and all those other people who say that religion has no place in the national politic or as a qualification for President. It's a private matter and any voter should ignore red hearing issues raised like "Do you really believe that Lucider was the brother of Jesus?" If I'm going to ask that one how about others such as the emaculate conception of either Mary or Jesus without original sin, or for that matter, original sin itself. I pretty much my own beliefs about what I believe the "Right" view of religion is in the previous posting. Among the "Rights" we are endowed with is the freedom to believe what we want to believe and pursue what we want to pursue, within lawful and moral limits. Lawful as far as the state is concerned and moral as far as your own contience is concerned. Having said this I didn't like the idea of Jack Kennedy repuliating his religion of Catholicisum like that or Romney doing the same thing with Mormonisum. If either is a "True Believer" they ought to from their own point of view Defend their Beliefs. It can be argued that an Athiest is the best thing to be in running for President because an Athiest can swear sole allegeence to his Country and not to his God. Every religion you can name makes you swear allegence to God first, and then country. I would not be this way. I'd swear to my country first and consider this oath "Sacred and undeniable". Yet all these religions want you to put "God" at the center of your life or "Christ" at the center of their lives. Since Jesus isn't here what this ammounts to is your swearing an oath to serve your Pastor as your appointed "Teacher" on earth to impart God's word and tell you what to think. As Gene Scott says "Of course we're brainwashed. At least if you're a member of my church you get to pick who is washing your brain". (Selah)
I'm running long in the tooth and getting these computer update messages to reboot so I better go. That phone call I got also delayed things. Again- - if we understood the sixth dimension I think we'd understand all the others with clarity. Remember that "Time is gravity" and gravity is time. So say Bruce Bushman, and the Federation, and Star Trek, and various writings I've read on the internet. Gravity-time have a known warping effect on space. But the psychic dimension also warps space. I think the sixth dimension is best understood with Gene Scott's waves on the beach analogy. It's easier to tell wave from wave than it is to tell where the wave leaves off and the ocean begins. The psychic dimension is "The whole picture" you don't see yet. As it says in the Bible "Now we see in a glass dimly what we shall see face to face".
