There is something in Julius Caesar about there is a tide which taken at the full leads on to victory. This is, you should "surf" nature and ride the currents for maximum gain. Martin Luther King talked about "Zeitguist" or spirit of the times. Believe it or not that's not a Nazi word. Certain events are "ripe" to happen, and that's when you have to look at the big picture and see where the Universe is leading manking. It may not be twords Peace, it may be twords War. Below are a couple of musings from two different files in July and August of 2004. Sometimes I sound so confused I sound like I'm talking out of both sides of my mouth. What I'm trying to say is that War is more likely than Peace, despite our best desires. The Jews looked to Jesus as Messiah, but he only promised "Not peace, but a sward". Thomas Jefferson said that the tree of liberty occasionally had to be watered with the blood of patriots. Karl Marx once said "In order to make an omlet, you've got to break some eggs. Those who say war is the answer would use the addage "You'll never know untill you try". We haven't had an all out World War in over sixty years, just like we haven't had any movement on the San Andreas fault in a long time. If you read my matereal you know that I believe the future is predestined. Tword the end of this blog I sound a more optimistic note but the fact is whatever we do for ourselves is predestined by the Universe. If the world is "sick" it needs to "volmet" to purge it's poisons. Botanists tell you that the most beautiful roses are developed by proper truning. Havent you heard the news? Forrest fires are caused by ecologists not allowing tree cutting. Along with the birth of the baby you also get the plecenta. An un-lanced boil could cause infection to the blood stream. It is written again in Julius Caesar, "Cowards die many times before their deaths. The vallient taste of death but once. If you are destined to die isn't it best to go down swinging that your karma might be served. War is the most efficient solution to the population explosion. For those of you who are simply "afraid to die let me offer this from our Saviour. "He who seeks to save his life will lose it and he who loses his life (in war) will gain good karma. It is said in the Bible that wine that is not regularly poured from vessel to vessel goes bad. This is what war does. I'm saying this because there's an outside chance something horrible will happen soon or in the year 2007. What war does above all is separate the talkers and the "posers" from the ones for whom war brings out true Courage. (Selah)

On “Lost World” they had a rerun of these demon invaders from the year 2022 that were involved in instigating a world wide nuclear holocaust. If kind of gets you to wondering whether there is actually going to be one. Various sources like Star Trek seem to be predicting one. Just on mathematical odds alone I’d say there has to be one some time. It probably will be the week after Chuck Smith dies- - about twenty years from now. We’ll all be older then. North Korea poses a real threat as I see it. The question is can the Bush administration luck out with diplomacy. Or will he just be another Chamberlain? And I don’t know all this stuff about the Communist menace being gone because the last time I checked my map, Red China was still there, and just as Communist. They just hide it now. But if push comes to shove I see no reason why China wouldn’t back North Korea. I think we have seen hints of that already. One of these days we’re going to have a crisis our President, whoever he is, can’t handle. I really am not up on all the latest missiles. We hear about the sidewinder, the tomahawk, and the discredited Patriot. We constantly hear about missiles malfunctioning. We con-stantly hear that the essence of being a good American is to fight in a war when ordered to, no matter what the merit. That’s none of our concern. How long is this John Kerry-itus going to contaminate our dialog on the subject? “I killed more in the war than you did”. The Larry Norman song goes, ‘In the midst of the war he offered us peace”. That just might be a hard deal to pass up if there’s substance behind it. You wonder at times whether there might not be a community of demons that are immortal, and they know that men are mortal and don’t live forever but they don’t care; they want release from what-ever Void they live in. And they hate mankind and want to destroy it. That’s the premise of today’s “Lost World” episode. My next conclusion may appear suspect to some. Therefore: if someone is going around screaming “It’s all gona burn” and “bring the War on” they have a demon in them. Clearly Jesus talked about “Were not those days short-ened no flesh would be saved”. It’s interesting he uses the word “Flesh”. Chuck must cringe when he hears that. George Burns as God said “The future is in your hands” and hinted he didn’t want us destroying ourselves. But oddly there are no Peace advocates today, except for the Pope. “Peace” is too closely associated with the word “liberal”.

You know, it’s the height of vanity to say you know the future. Let’s face it; Christians are pretty vain. I don’t think I’ve done any files on the future with either this computer or the old one. I guess since each progressive year for me has been worse than the one before since I’ve gotten this computer the future is something I haven’t wanted to think about. John Lennon said Christianity wouldn’t last, it would vanish and shrink”. He said ‘I don’t know which will go first; rock and roll or Christianity”. John Lennon said “People aren’t turning out for God”. Obviously we’ve been in the throws of the Jesus Revolution these past 35 years. For twenty-five years the voting pattern of America became rather predictable. We’d be oppressed by a foreign power, and in most cases go to war, or bomb somebody, or in the case of Carter, vote a President out of office. This could go on a while. In the Arimid files I note I couldn’t venture to predict elections past 2007. I suppose something could happen like Bush getting assassinated and Dick Chaney could take over and go nuts declaring a military state and suspending the 2008 elections. But as Jesus would say “the end is not yet”. I’m starting to bore myself so I’ll pick up the pace. You know they say “Charity begins at home” so we need look no further for an example of Antichrist than my own parents. Neither has a spiritual bone in their body and they are both the perfect posers. Were James Dobson to evaluate their child rearing I’m convinced he’d give them a D minus, or lower. They have a love affair with the welfare state. Dad won’t fight for anything; he’d make the perfect passive Jew in Nazi Germany. In the future at some point religion will be done away with by statute. I’d like to ask John Lennon, “What would you think of a religion where the only outward sign of it is isolation from others but otherwise living a happy self satisfied life”. You can’t control people who are in contact with God, so God must be done away with.

Back in May of 1982 we sent a mailing to the media that predicted the lapse in medical care that occurred in the 1990s and today. The right drugs wouldn’t be given and treatment would be denighed for beaurocratic reasons. Later on we predicted there would be a World War- - a nuclear holocaust some time in the late 2030s. It is at this point, when God knows what has happened in between, that I believe the Antichrist, if there is one, will make his appearance. In the story the 2040s were portrayed as an oppressive period of areas chain link fenced off and guards everywhere and passes needed to travel from zone to zone, as the sun refused to shine through that was kind of a ghastly mustard green. But later on, about 2061 there would be some sort of religious revival. Didn’t the latest Enterprise say that warp drives were invented a whole hundred years before their year around 2165? And that at the time space aliens landed on earth breaking whatever “code of silence” there was. Heck, it could be space aliens brought the warp drive to the humans. People at the Orion Federation make no mention of a “warp drive” to get around. They either space fold or travel in the sixth dimension. And travel in general seems to be a guarded secret. The notion of space ships fanning out from a planet that “just became aware” is alien to the Orion Federation I know. But I think we can agree that Christianity won’t be around in those days.
