Thier Motto i - "Never Say Die!"

Chris Matthews warns about Raphael Cruz, father of Ted Cruz, and how this is another case as in religion of the Father annointing the Son to Rule and Reign.  Of course the Father, Raphael Cruz, is in really tight with these Dominionist pastors of Texas, and make no mistake about it, Domionist theology is a Cult and patently un Christian, and the whole of the New Testament speaks against it.  This is the belief that secular government here on earth can and will set up a system of Theocracy, where their will will be the Law of the Land.  Raphael has called Obama a Marxiat and a Socialist and told him that he should go back to either Indonesia or Kenya.  In light of the fact that Ted Cruz is Canadian born, you'd think they'd lay off the Kenya thing right now, but they won't.  It's too good of a selling point to call President Obama a Nigger, without actually using the word.  And when Raphael quotes Marx about "The State becoming God" he speaks more of his son Ted, than he does of any progressive democrat.  If you know progressive movements, this 'isn't how they swing".  It's the Right wing who are the Statists among us, when you come down to it.k  They'd even like to override state laws, such on Gay Marriage, if they could.  Raphael makes up outright lies such as "If you will notice, this president NEVER uses the words "Under God" when he recites the Pledge of allegence, but then Chris Matthews just played several clips where Obama could clearly be heard uttering these words, "Under God".  President Obama is a man who's gone to church all his life.  He's probably been to church more in the past ten years than I have.   I think we are all a little sick and tired of hearing that the United States is "A Christian Nation" and that the Constitution is "A tribute to the Wore of God".  In the root of the Constitution is a line about "no religious test shall ever be required of anyone who would hold office", and that includes Atheists.  If there is one more group more hated in this country than either gays or Moslems, it's Atheists.   An Atheist is NOT someone who proposes that "Everything in the Universe spontaniously created itself".  No.  An Atheist is someone who REJECTS the notion that Jehovah is some kind of a living, active, interrective Person- - I said Person- - - who speaks to man and directs him and rewards people in this life for "Discovering the true path" and all that.  They pray to God regularly and they get Answers.  God speaks to Raphael Cruz and Raphael speaks to his son Ted Cruise and Ted announces his Truths as though they came from Mt Sinai.  Ted Cruz is a demogogue of the First Order.  Ted Cruz more than any other American has been instrumental in merging the classic "tea party" revolt of 2010, with right wing Christian Dominionists.  It's Dangerous, given what it could be if he had any real Power.

As the walls of Reality close in around them,  the tea party right’s motto is “Never say die”.  They just keep at it with the propaganda and lies.  Judy sent me a dozen or so E mails since the last time I checked- - maybe a week ago.  Internet Explorer is slow for things like panning up or down.  Their torrent of rationalizations for their behavior knows no limit.  They are continuing to maintain that the deficit is still 1.2 Trillion, and they show this debt chart that invariably reaches tword a peak- - that is a projection to figures and years we haven’t come to yet.  It would be a real come-down for those people if they were wrong and deficets were sharply reduced- which is something they are striving hard to prevent.  They love the doom and gloom- - and still think Social Security is part of the standard “entitlement’ budget and so they count it in their figures.  They spare no superlative in saying we are in such a mess that congress could not fix the problem is we wanted to and if all discretionary spending was ended, we’d still be running a deficit.  But the thing is - - the Tea Party and Fox news have such a reputation for flat out Lying - - that what I might have believed Five years ago, I don't believe now. They cite T Boone Pickens as saying he’s all for the Canadian – Texas oil pipeline.  That’s not exactly what he said, and Pickens last time I checked, was looking for ways to get America OFF oil.  Nobody has tallied in the added health hazzard costs that will show up in costs to the Average American from the added pollution. And now Patty Davis, Reagan’s daughter has joined in the chorus, between porno shoots.  She voted for the president Twice- - and I only voted for him once.  I voted green last time.   She laments “How come the President has raised my health care costs”.  Judy says she and [name] will pay two thousand more in health care costs this next year, and this bill hike they just got in the mail is proof that Obama Care raises health care costs.  The Republican response cited doubling and tripling of rates- and “A whopping increase in deductables” according to the speaker.  And we are told that the health care site can be easily hacked- - - and that only six people signed up for Obama Care in the first day of operation.  (What about the first month?)   And we hear the never ending chorus of how the whole economy is going to come crashing down as our T bills and bonds get devalued- - and how we have times the dollar debt as Greece had and look what happened to them.  But you will never hear any constructive ideas about how to fix the problem other than to build the Canadian pipeline and gut more pollution laws- and continue to give even bigger tax cuts and deductions for oil executives and others of the very rich.  How does someone like Judy in her fondest dream- - think more money in the Koch Brother’s pocket will help her balance her checkbook?  Judy is so obsessed with “debt” but at the same time she’s almost wishing in the worst way that China would just pull the plug and call in all of our debt obligations because “THAT would really teach President Obama a lesson”.  It’s all about President Obama with these people.  By the way- - we know how minority phobiac she is of Latinos and Iranians and Arabs that Judy is.  But guess what?  As far as I’m concerned she and [blank] and go on and move to Texas if they want to, but they’ve got a Latino “problem” there, too.

For a “Sanity in Daylight Savings Time” bill I’d introduce- - like I’ve been saying, I would go back to the Six and Six rule.  This is my crusade.  Six months on and six months off.  I could go from the first Sunday in April, like we used to have it up through 2006, and I would end Daylight Savings on the first Sunday in October.  That makes it easy to remember.  In terms of States excusing themselves- - - I think there are some obvious candidates that haven’t taken the option.  Indiana for most of the past 45 years had chosen to opt out of DLST but in 2012 they opted back in, and now their air conditioning cost for residents in the evening is way up.  You gain nothing in the last month or the first few weeks of Daylight Savings time for industry regardless- - because you can’t “save’ an hour of daylight if it’s still dark outside.   Alaska is another candidate.  What difference does it make in Anchorage whether it gets dark in mid summer at ten thirty at night or eleven thirty?   Indiana and Michigan are such obvious candidates to exempt themselves, and so is North Dakota and the majority of South Dakota that isn’t on Mountain Time, like the Black Hills are.   Also I don’t see why Nebraska wouldn’t want to avail their entire state the chance to be all in the same time zone.  Ditto for Idaho, another state with a divided time zone that could be fixed for the summer months.  But I have two more states to throw into the mix.  Ohio is one because they too are far west in their time zone- - and also the majority of Kentucky- - that’s in the Eastern Time Zone.  As a rule of thumb- - how about all Midwest States being in the Central Time Zone- - at least for seven & a half months of the year.

Last night they led with the Airport shooting story, and it was just another 23 year old anti-government whacko.  This one lived in New Jersey and has only lived in this area since this past February, and no one in his family or neighborhood suspected he had mental problems.  We go off Daylight Saving Time tonight and there will also be a total eclipse of the sun in Europe and a partial eclipse of the sun in the eastern United States.   I looked at the TV schedule last night and Judy’s numerous E Mails, and also another notice from [blank] saying not to post the video of several weeks ago.  He seems really concerned that I might, but of course I wouldn’t.  On NBC it was America’s love affair with the Vampire.  And they featured portrayals of Vampires of every shape and size.  OK, they can assume other shapes, like a wolf or a rat or a bat or dissolve altogether into mist- - but most importantly they turn into bats and can fly.  And they posess super human strength, and are able to exercise mind control.  And of course they can remain 23 year old High School teenagers forever.  Because you know most of these so called “teenagers’ on these programs are actresses in their twenties.  Then it was “Grim” or something at nine I didn’t watch much of.

THREE DAYS AGO;  After two I went for coffee in the courtyard and this time I followed through.  Then it was time to see Dr Messina.  That appointment went well.  I was behind Wally.  I tried to mention problems I was having but had I had more time perhaps I could have come up with more stuff.  I had thought of calling Mom but didn’t.  After three I was looking for something different to do and even thought of taking a stroll somewhere, but I didn’t.  I turned on Katie Kuric and much to my surprise was Bill O Riley.  He had a simply preposterous idea about Jesus Christ being killed because he was launching some kind of an anti tax tea party revolt, and the Roman government had to do him in before the fad caught on too much.  Talk about a nakedly political biography, this one takes the cake.  O Riley claimed to have vast new secular resources on the life of Christ none of the rest of us knows anything about.  He mentioned other things- - just as nonsensical that I discuss in yesterday’s posting, done after dinner.  But I did watch the rest of the Katie show.  O Riley said that “We all get unctions from the Holy Spirit but don’t follow through”.
